Schlousentrommel fNr Rohrpostanlagen.

Lock drum for No. pneumatic tube systems.
The invention relates to a lock device for pneumatic tube systems, in which the lock drum is equipped with an attachment which cooperates with a lever in such a way that it is pushed back by the attachment in the discharge position of the drum and thereby releases the liner inlet tube while the drum is rotated into the The lever swings automatically into the liner inlet tube.
Two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a vertical section through one apparatus, Fig. 2 shows a vertical section at right angles to it, the lock being closed with respect to the inlet line. Fig. 3 shows the lock in the open position opposite the inlet line with a received and a held sleeve. 4 and 5 show vertical sections through the second embodiment with two different positions of the drum.
The lock consists of a rotatable drum J with chamber 2 for receiving the sleeve 3. The drum with the chamber closed at one end is located in a completely closed housing 4 under pressure or vacuum, into which the pipes for the inlet are located at the top and bottom or outlet of the sleeve are connected. The Schlensentrommel is sealed off from the atmosphere inside the housing by means of a sanded shoe 5 resting against the drum, which connects to the pipeline 6 running through the floor. For pressing the
Flange to the drum is fastened with a pipe socket 7 and 8 nuts
Flange 9 connected.
The pipe socket is also sealed by a stuffing box.
If in the position shown in Fig. 1 a bushing through the pipe 10 em! and falls into the collecting tube 11 located below, which can be seen through viewing openings 12, the drum 1 is opened by means of the hand

that the lower sleeve 3 can fall into the lock chamber 2. If the drum 1 is now again rotated back into the position of FIG. 1, the bush 3 can then fall out of the drum down through the tube 6.
If several rifles have arrived one behind the other, a safety gear is in place.
