Dabei zeigen rein schematisch:

The invention relates to a heddle according to claim 1 and a method for producing a heddle according to claim 13.
Healds in weaving machines have the task of lifting warp threads that run through the Litzenmittelaugen to shedding and lower. For example, heddles made of yarn, metal and plastic are known. In metallic healds the thread eye is formed either by piercing a brazed double wire or by punching from a flat rolled round wire or a broadband. The opening formed by piercing or punching or eyelet forms a thread eye through which the warp thread is guided. The thread eye is exposed to high mechanical stress due to the continuous warp thread. It must be as low-wear as possible and must not rub the passing warp thread.
To meet these requirements, an additional thread eye is often soldered into the eyelet, which is also referred to as Maillon. The requirements for a high mechanical strength are most likely met by healds, which are made of metal, at least in the area of the thread eye.
It is known to braze Rundwrahtweblitzen from two tinned, parallel steel wires in a continuous process in a liquid tin or tin / lead bath. The double wire produced thereby is partly split again along the solder joint to form the yarn eye and expanded to an eyelet, in which optionally an additional thread eye is soldered. The process for producing such round wire healds is expensive and ecologically questionable due to the use of the lead and / or tin bath.
The strands also have a relatively soft, non-abrasive surface. They must therefore be post-coppered and nickel-plated in order to obtain the desired abrasion resistance and to prevent discoloration on the yarn.
An alternative method for producing a heald from a flat steel strip is described in DE-OS 1,950,903. In this case, indentations are embossed in the flat steel strip in a first work station, which extend in the middle of the flat sides of the flat steel strip in its longitudinal direction. In another workstation, the flat steel strip is machined in its section provided with the notches by means of a spreading tool so that the notches form a continuous through the thickness of the flat steel strip slot. This is widened under deformation of the strip material.
In the expanded eyelet, a thread eye can be pressed in a further step. The disadvantage here is that on the one hand a great effort is needed to slit the uniformly thick flat steel strip and widen. The resulting slot also has sharp edges that make an additional thread eye indispensable, but make its insertion difficult. The widening of the slot in the band-shaped, in profile rectangular steel strip to an eyelet can also lead to an overuse of the material, especially in the area of the use.
The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a heald available in which the above-mentioned problems of the prior art are avoided.
The heddle should be particularly low-effort and environmentally friendly to produce.
The object is achieved by a heddle with the features of claim 1. The object is further achieved by a method for producing a heddle with the features of claim 13.
According to the invention it is assumed in the production of a heald from a one-piece blank having a profile which has at least two thickenings and an interposed narrow point. The profile of the blank has in the region of the narrow point the shape of a triangle with a rounded or flattened tip and with an opening angle between 60 °. and 120. The blank is in particular an endless belt, which has the profile described over the entire length of the tape. He is referred to below as a splittable profile wire.
In the inventive heald, the blank is separated along the narrow point in a region of a predetermined length into two single strands and widened to form an eyelet. By existing over the entire length of the blank narrow point, which favors the notch effect, healds of different lengths and different Ösengrösse can be produced with high flexibility. The piercing or cutting a slot for the production of the eyelet is possible with little effort. Because of the prefabricated constriction, the individual strands in the region of the slot have substantially rounded edges. The resulting eyelet can thus be prepared in a simple manner for receiving the warp thread.
The separation to form a slot and the widening of the slot can be done in one operation in a common processing station.
Preferably, the blank is a one-piece, profiled, splittable wire. This is preferably produced by rolling, drawing or cutting. It preferably consists of spring-hard inox material or cold-drawn spring steel. Its strength is 900 to 2500 N / mm 2, preferably 1100 to 1500 N / mm 2. Due to this high tensile strength, the necessary stability and fatigue strength of the inventive heddle is guaranteed. Depending on the material, the strength is selected so that the profile can be split and widened without tearing open the entire length of the strand.
The elongation at break is chosen so that the molding of end eyelets is possible.
Preferably, the heald for attachment in the harness straight ends for a hose attachment or molded end eyelets. These are realized by appropriate material-forming, end splitting or additional attachment of thread eyes.
With only low stress of the heddle, the flared eyelet can be used directly as a thread eye. Its wear resistance is given by the hardness of the material of the blank. Of great advantage is that the coppering and nickel plating, in contrast to healds from a soldered double wire deleted.
At higher stress, an additional thread eye is preferably inserted into the eyelet.
This preferably has an increased wear resistance than the blank itself and preferably also a correspondingly prepared surface, which is polished, for example. Preferably, this additional thread eye along its outer contour has a notch, which is adapted to the shape of the individual strands. Thus, the additional thread eye can be positively inserted into the eyelet, so that in principle no further fastening means are more necessary. The manufacturing process is thereby simplified over known methods in which the thread eye is soldered. However, the additional thread eye can also be attached by gluing, brazing, soldering, foil soldering, laser welding, pressure welding, ultrasonic welding or embossing in the eyelet.
Thus, other methods are available than the currently mainly used soft soldering, and it can be dispensed with the environmentally harmful lead-tin solder. This also has the advantage that no soldering water must be used, which can partially lead to surface changes and promotes the unwanted nickel tips in today's final nickel-plating. The said fasteners perform tasks such as fixation of the thread eye, filler between the separate strands and the thread eye, stabilizing the slot ends and rounding any thread-damaging edges.
For strands without an additional thread eye, the split point, i. the eyelet mechanically or chemically polished. For a thread-fine surface of the thread eye thus formed is realized.
An additionally inserted thread eye (Maillon) preferably has a correspondingly polished surface.
The profile of the blank is preferably substantially dumbbell, doppelkeulen- or eight-shaped. As a result, an easy cleavage is realized.
A partially split fissile profile wire is preferably also used for the production of other components having a gap opening or an eyelet.
Examples of inventive heddles are shown in the drawing and described below.
Here are purely schematic:
Fig. 1-5: Various profiles of blanks for the production of healds according to the invention;
FIG. 6a: the plan view of a heald according to the invention with an additionally inserted thread eye; FIG.
Fig. 6b: a cross section through a double wire strand according to the prior art;
6c shows the cross section through a strand according to the invention.
1-5 are different profile shapes of blanks that can be used to produce a heald according to the invention shown. Identical functional areas are designated by the same reference numerals.
The profile according to Fig. 1 is substantially dumbbell or 8-shaped. It is symmetrical both to a transverse axis 11 and to a center axis 12 perpendicular thereto.
The profile 1 has two club-like lateral thickening 4a, 4b, between which a narrow point 2 is formed. The narrow point 2 is formed during the manufacturing process of the blank in that the blank is provided over its entire length with each other mirror-symmetrical to the transverse axis 11 opposite notches 3a, 3b. The blank 1 has a width b1 of 0.4 to 2.6 mm, preferably 0.6 mm. In a direction perpendicular to it has a maximum. Thickness d1, which is about two-thirds of the width b1, here 0.4 mm. The minimum thickness d2 in the region of the narrow point 2 is about one third of the width b1, here preferably 0.2 mm. The profile has in the region of the thickening 4a, 4b and in the region of the notches 3a, 3b rounded shape.
The radius of curvature R1 of the profile in the region of the narrow point 2 is between 0.01 and 0.25 mm, preferably 0.05 mm. The notches have the shape of a rounded cone with a half opening angle alpha of 30 deg. to 60, here alpha = 40.
Along the narrow point 2, i. along the smallest thickness d2, the profile wire for the inventive production of a heald is partially separated. The resulting slot is widened to an eyelet, which either itself forms the thread eye or another thread eye (Maillon) receives.
2, another example of a profile of a blank 1 is shown. The narrow point 2 between the two thickenings 4a, 4b here has a reduced thickness d2 of about one-sixth of the width b1 of the profile compared to the example of FIG.
The half opening angle alpha of the notches 3a, 3b is about 30. The radius of curvature R1 of the notches 3a, 3b is about 0.05 mm.
Fig. 3 shows another example of a profile wire according to the invention with triangular in cross-section or roof-shaped notches 3a, 3b. The width b1 of the profile 1 is between 0.6 and 2.6 mm and is here preferably 0.8 mm. The narrow point 2 formed by the notches 3a, 3b between the two thickenings 4a and 4b consists of a substantially straight piece of material of width b2. The width b2 is between 0.05 and 0.5 mm and here is 0.1 mm. The thickness d2 of the narrow point 2 in a direction perpendicular thereto is preferably between 0.1 and 0.5 mm and is here, for example, 0.1 mm.
The thickness D1 of the entire profile 1, measured at the point of greatest extent, is preferably between 0.25 and 1.3 mm and is here 0.45 mm. The opening angle beta of the notches 3a, 3b is between 60 and 120 °. and is about 90 here.
Fig. 4 shows a comparison with FIG. 3 slightly modified profile with rounded notches 3a, 3b. The radius of curvature R1 of the notches here is about 0.12 mm and is in principle preferably between 0.05 and 0.5 mm. The opening angle beta is substantially 90.
Fig. 5 shows another dumbbell or 8-shaped profile of an inventive blank. The width of the profile b1 is about 0.6 mm, the thickness d1 of the profile about two-thirds thereof, here 0.4 mm, and the thickness d2 of the narrow point 2 about one-sixth, here 0.1 mm.
The opening angle beta of the notches 3a, 3b is approximately 90. The radius of curvature R1 of the profile in the region of the narrow point 2 is approximately 0.05 mm. The radius of curvature R2 of the profile in the region of the thickenings 4a, 4b is approximately 0.1 mm. The profile according to FIG. 5 has a cross-sectional area of approximately 0.16 mm 2.
The profiles shown in Figs. 1-5 can be prepared by cold drawing, rolling or cutting a wire of spring-hard stainless steel or spring steel. The fissile profile wire produced in this way serves as an endless belt as a starting material for the production of healds according to the invention. Furthermore, other components having an eyelet can be easily made of such a wire.
6a shows an example of a heddle according to the invention with a thread eye 7 inserted.
The heddle consists of a blank 1, which is a splittable profile wire with a profile according to one of FIGS. 1-5 or 6c. The profile wire has two longitudinally strand-like thickenings 4a, 4b which extend parallel to one another in the end regions 1a, 1b of the blank 1. In these end regions 1a, 1b, they are connected to one another via a narrow point 2. In the eyelet 6, the narrow point is separated over a certain length. The blank 1 is split in this area in two single strands 5a, 5b. These are pulled apart to form an eyelet 6 in the transverse direction. In the eyelet 6 a thread eye 7 is inserted positively.
The ends 8 of the eyelet 6 and the intermediate region between the thread eye 7 and the individual strands 5a, 5b are filled with a filler.
Figs. 6b and 6c show sections through a strand along the line 1-1 in Fig. 6a. Fig. 6b illustrates the case that the blank 1 is a soldered double wire according to the prior art. This consists of two round wires 9a, 9b, which are aligned parallel to each other and are connected with solder 10 over its entire length. Such a double wire has the disadvantages described above. In contrast, FIG. 6c shows the further development according to the invention, in which a one-piece splittable profile wire is used as the blank 1.
