The invention is in the field of construction and relates to components for the construction of wall or roof projections and the invention further relates to a method for creating building wall or roof edge structures using such components.
Roofs serve to protect buildings from moisture, for example they protect against rain and snow water, they also serve to insulate buildings and protect against cold and heat, for example. In particular, for moisture protection and for the thermal insulation of roof edges and building walls, components are used that protrude as ledges or projections beyond the perpendicular alignment of the roof edges or building walls and, for example, protect the facade from rainwater as it rises and falls. Such components for use as projections can consist of a wide variety of materials, for example concrete, wood, metal, stone, plastic, etc.
A first disadvantage of known roof edge constructions is the difficulty in collecting and draining off water. The installation of water slants and water noses, for example as metal sheets connecting them to one another, and their fastening and sealing with respect to the underlying projections is labor-intensive and therefore expensive.
Another disadvantage of known roof edge constructions is the costly thermal insulation. The materials used often have a high heat transfer coefficient (k-value), so that they cause local cold bridges in the building, which, in addition to increased heating costs, result in damage to the building, especially as a result of condensation. Such cold bridges are remedied by attaching insulation material, usually in such a way that continuous layers or layers of insulation material are laid between the support, which is formed by a floor ceiling or by a supporting wall, and the projections thereon, which are only broken through by the fastening means of the projections .
This solution using intermediate layers of insulation material leads to further disadvantages. In this way, the protrusions are moved at a relatively late stage in the shell. The anchoring of the fasteners of the projections in the support, which is stable and designed for high loads, and which is horizontal and balances the manufacturing tolerances of the support, this anchoring takes place at a relatively early stage, often before the insulation material is installed, for example already at Manufacture of the support. Different construction teams are therefore involved in the construction of the wall projections in different stages of the shell. Simplification is desirable for procedural reasons, since such a rationalization not only leads to cost savings, but also increases the degree of freedom in individual detailed training.
The building owners and contractors, for example, are significantly restricted by the need to attach anchors and insulation material when designing the projections.
The object of the invention is to provide components which overcome the disadvantages described above. In particular, the components for the construction of projections should be mountable on building walls or roof edges. The building elements should insulate the edges of the building and roof and should be able to protect the building from water damage in the shell construction phase. The components should be able to be manufactured from common, robust energetically sensible materials. They should be simple and practicable with common techniques and can already be assembled in the shell.
This object is achieved by the invention defined in the claims.
The idea of the invention is based on a fundamental analysis of the procedural steps involved in the assembly of the bodyshell. It results in a new type of coupling element, which is characterized by the incorporation of insulation material in a load-bearing, flexible and watertight shell. This coupling element can be mounted on a support formed by a building wall and / or a floor ceiling, such that the horizontal and vertical construction tolerances can be accommodated and compensated for by mounting the coupling element. This coupling element can be used for fastening a building wall edge or roof edge protruding beyond the perpendicular alignment of the building.
The incorporation of thermal insulation into components according to the invention allows a completely new installation of roof edge closures in the body-in-white, because the components according to the invention can be moved directly to supports of the primary structure in an early stage of the body-building by means of anchored fastening means. The laying of the thermal insulation of the building walls and ceilings takes place in the subsequent structural stage and thus does not have a disruptive or hindering effect when creating the roof edge finishes. For example, thermal insulation of the building walls and storey ceilings is laid in the form of mats, panels, etc., and brought to the already assembled, core-insulated coupling elements without a cold bridge. The cost of building the shell is reduced by reducing the number of process steps.
The components according to the invention can be pre-produced and temporarily stored as standardized and standardized semi-finished products. The number of possible degrees of freedom in the design of projections is thus increased and it is freed from constraints on the frame. The main area of application of the components according to the invention is, for example, in the construction of building crowns, building closures and roof edge areas above the last floor ceilings. In particular, it is possible to use standardized and standardized, core-insulated coupling elements which are provided, for example, with canopies individually designed and designed by the client.
1 to 4, the invention will be explained in detail.
1 and 2 show a side view of part of an exemplary embodiment of a component according to the invention with a coupling element and canopy, which is mounted on a floor or a supporting wall.
3 shows in section a part of components according to the invention which are mounted next to one another in the embodiments according to FIGS. 1, 2 and 4 and which have folds attached to the side.
4 shows in section a part of a further exemplary embodiment of a component according to the invention with a one-piece coupling element and canopy.
1 and 2 show parts of exemplary embodiments of components 1 according to the invention for the construction of wall and / or roof projections. Fig. 1 shows a simplified side view of a component 1 with coupling element 2 and canopy 3, which is mounted on a floor 5 as a support. Fig. 2 shows a simplified side view of a component 1 with coupling element 2 and canopy 3, which is mounted on a support wall 6 and / or a floor ceiling 5 as a support. Floor ceiling 5 and building wall 6 are for example made of concrete, but can also be made of other common materials in the construction industry such as wood, stone, metal etc.
The component 1 consists of the coupling element 2 and a canopy 3 made of mechanically load-bearing material and connected to it, for example, by means of connecting means 7. The coupling element 2 serves to absorb vertical and horizontal forces and to absorb torques. Any known positive and material-locking means such as screw closures, plug closures, bayonet closures, adhesive connections, etc. can be used as connecting means between the coupling element 2 and the canopy 3 as well as the support 5, 6. Coupling element 2 and canopy 3 can also be connected to one another in one piece, as shown in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 4.
The component 1 also has at least one core 4 made of heat-insulating material. In order to avoid cold bridges, it is advantageous but not imperative to place the core 4 in the coupling element 2 such that the underside of the coupling element 2 is largely insulated. The components 1 thus have at least one core 4 which fills the cross-sectional area of the coupling element 2 in a heat-insulating manner. As shown in the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the core-insulated coupling element 2 is connected in a further assembly steps with insulation material 9 in such a way that the building through the insulation material 9 of the building wall 6, through the heat-insulating core 4 and through insulation material 9 Floor ceiling 5 is thermally insulated without a cold bridge.
With knowledge of the present invention, the person skilled in the art is free to subdivide the coupling element 2 into a plurality of cores and to implement these elements, for example, with or without a canopy integrally integrated therewith, as shown, for example, in the embodiment according to FIG. 4.
For example, concrete is used as the mechanically load-bearing material of components 1, which can be reinforced to achieve the necessary bending strength. Of course, other common mechanically load-bearing materials such as wood, stone, metal, plastic, etc. can also be used. Glass wool or glass fiber, for example, is used as the heat-insulating material of the components 1. With knowledge of the present invention, the person skilled in the art can use a large number of common heat-insulating materials, such as wood wool, mineral fibers, foams, styrofoam, etc. He can also use protective gas and vacuum as insulation.
Advantageous embodiments include components 1, at least partially consisting of glass wool or glass fiber encapsulated with concrete, which can be pre-produced and temporarily stored as standardized and standardized semi-finished products and which represent, in particular, ecologically sensible components 1. A further variant are components 1 in the embodiment of wooden beams with integrated cavities for functioning as cores with air or protective gas cushions.
The components 1 are composed of the coupling element 2 and the canopy 3 connected to it. Coupling element 2 and canopy 3 can be freely designed and shaped. They can be more or less strong, for example as a thin, narrow roof edge or as a load canopy. However, they can also be designed as a richly structured decorative cornice with one or more bevels, with different slopes, with horizontal sections interrupted by decorative elements, etc. With knowledge of the present invention, the person skilled in the art has many options for the specific design of such components. 1, 2 and 4 show such different embodiments of canopies 3 by way of example.
The coupling elements 2 can be moved in a relatively early stage of the shell. Using the example of the concrete building shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, they are mounted on a load-bearing floor ceiling 5 and / or on a supporting wall 6 as a support. To compensate for the manufacturing tolerances of the building shell, which can be a few centimeters, and to achieve a horizontal and perfect structure of building wall and roof edge structures using the components 1 according to the invention, the coupling elements 2 are balanced in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 Anchored for 7 minutes. This anchoring of the components 1 can take place, for example, by screwing, canting or suitable insertion.
The sub-supports 7 min are, for example, metallic supports which are screwed horizontally or vertically to the support in previous process steps after laser adjustment or otherwise positively or also cohesively, for example by means of a plug connection, a bayonet lock, a wedge or an adhesive connection. Of course, the person skilled in the art, with knowledge of the present invention, is free to manufacture supports with lower manufacturing tolerances, so that the use of supports is not mandatory. Furthermore, with knowledge of the present invention, the skilled person is free to choose from various other embodiments of such sub-bearings, not shown.
The shape of the sub-bearing and the nature of the material used can be adapted to a variety of different conditions, such as wooden structures, stone structures, etc. In particular, a height-compensating mechanism for mounting on storey ceilings 5 according to FIG. 1 or a depth-compensating mechanism for mounting on supporting walls 6 according to FIG. 2, for example in the form of a spindle with supporting surfaces, can itself be integrated in the component 1 used. The coupling elements 2 with compensating mechanism can thus be placed and anchored with the sub-bearing surfaces on manufacturing tolerances and individually balanced horizontally by actuating the compensating mechanism.
The anchoring can take place as a screw connection or otherwise in a form-fitting or material-fitting manner, for example as a plug-in or wedge connection, bayonet lock or as an adhesive connection. Under certain circumstances, between the supports 5, 6 and the coupling element 2, and between the coupling element 2 and the canopy 3, gaps 70 (FIGS. 1 and 2), perform a thermally insulated (foamed, etc.) or air cushion function as a further thermal insulation.
As shown in FIG. 3, the components 1 can have lateral folds 12, which allow the components 1 mounted next to one another to fit together without cement. These folds 12 advantageously extend on the left or right side once as a male and once as a female fold over the entire length of the components 1 parallel to the unloading direction XX min (FIGS. 1, 2 and 4) and perpendicular to the displacement direction YY min (FIG. 3), such that components 1 are displaced with their male fold on one side into the female fold of the next adjacent component 1. With knowledge of the invention, the person skilled in the art has access to a wide variety of other embodiments of such connecting means for interlocking interlocking components without cement.
For example, he can use a fold that runs obliquely to the unloading direction XX min and the offset direction YY min at one or more arbitrary angles, for example he can use an interrupted fold or other engaging contact means.
The components 1 protrude in the unloading direction XX min with the canopy 3 several centimeters, for example 20 or even 50 centimeters beyond the vertical alignment of the building wall or the roof edge and thus protect them from rainwater falling or dripping down. Of course, further and less far-reaching canopies can also be realized. Advantageously, but not necessarily, the top of the canopies 3 is chamfered as water slants, such that rainwater can be collected and carried away. In the embodiments according to FIGS. 1 and 4, the canopies 3 are realized with water slants 3.1 running away from the building wall or roof edge alignment in the unloading direction XX min, so that rainwater is led over protruding water lugs 3.2 onto a flat roof, for example.
The water lugs 3.2 projecting over the sub-bearings 7 and the continuously uninterrupted fold 12 as part of the water slants 3.1 prevent rainwater from flowing into the coupling element area of the building wall or roof edge construction around the coupling element 2 and the sub-bearings 7. With knowledge of the present invention, other embodiments can be realized where rainwater is guided on water slants, for example to the building wall or roof edge escape, and in rain gutters. The canopies 3 can also have coatings made of specially weatherproof materials, for example they can be provided with protective colors or with sheet metal covers.
These coatings increase the durability of the components 1 and enable a quick and easy creation of building wall or roof edge constructions using components 1 according to the invention, since the process steps of subsequently applying such a coating are omitted.
