Fig. 1 eine Perspektivansicht des erfindungsgemässen Schutzgitters,
The invention relates to a protective grille.
The invention has for its object to provide a protective grille that provides high stability against external interference.
A protective grille of the type according to the invention is specified in claim 1.
According to the invention, the protective grille consists of a circumferential frame within which honeycomb tubular sections are arranged to form essentially honeycomb structures. Adjacent pipe sections are welded together along their end faces or front edges, which results in a fusion of the adjacent pipe sections in the region of the end faces.
As far as the pipe sections are connected to the circumferential frame or are in contact with it, they are also welded to the frame in the area of the end faces.
According to the invention, a protective grille is created which, through the connection along the end faces by welding, ensures end face fusion, i.e. the honeycomb-shaped tube sections are welded and fused on their front and rear end faces, while there are sections free of fusion in the area between the respective front and rear end faces and thereby define zones that are used for deformation.
The protective grille according to the invention is suitable for use in front of or behind glazing, in ventilation openings and also as a security element.
The construction of the protective grille according to the invention using pipe sections results in a double-walled design of the walls.
The protective grille according to the invention provides an extremely high resistance to attack by grinding and cutting tools, attached explosive charges or inserted and blocked explosive charges, cutting charges, lever and spreading tools and also to sawing tools.
The pipe sections can be formed according to the invention from individual profiles or composite profiles.
A preferred embodiment of the protective grille according to the invention is described below with reference to the drawings to explain further features and advantages.
Show it:
1 is a perspective view of the protective grille according to the invention,
2 is a perspective view of a part of pipe sections which give the lattice-shaped structure,
3 is a partial view corresponding to FIG. 2 to explain the connection of the individual pipe sections,
4 shows a schematic illustration to explain the properties of the protective grid according to the invention, and
5 shows a representation to explain the properties of the protective grille according to the invention.
1 shows a perspective view of a preferred embodiment of the protective grid according to the invention. The protective grille consists of a circumferential frame 1, which consists of steel or steel profiles and within which pipe sections, which are generally designated 2, are firmly inserted.
Details of the essentially honeycomb structure of the protective grille are shown in FIGS. 2 to 4.
2, a plurality of honeycomb-shaped or n-angular pipe sections 3a, 4a, 5a, 3b, 4b, 5b, 3c, 4c, 5c are combined to form a lattice body 2 in that the pipe sections 3a, 4a, 5a ... 4c, 5c are welded in the area of adjacent walls along their end faces. As can be seen from the detailed illustration according to FIG. 3, the welding takes place circumferentially along a front end face denoted by 4b circumferentially of a pipe section denoted by 5 as well as along the rear end face denoted by 7. The welding, preferably by means of a tungsten wire, is full-area in the area of the end face 6, 7. In the same way, the other tube sections adjacent to one another are welded.
It can be seen from FIG. 4 that the pipe sections 3a, 4a, 5a ... 4c, 5c each form individual elements and thereby the connection areas, for example between the pipe section 4a and the pipe section 5a in FIG. 4, which is designated there by 8 , has a double-walled structure, which significantly affects the stability of the protective grille according to the invention.
The welding and fusing of the respective front and rear end faces 6, 7 of the individual pipe sections 3a etc. leads to a zone being defined between the respective front and rear end faces 6, 7, via which the walls of the pipe sections are not fused. These zones result in defined deformation zones between the adjoining walls of all pipe sections 3a, 4a ... 4c, 5c. In FIG. 2, the part of the wall sections over which there is no welding or fusion with the wall surfaces of adjacent pipe sections is illustrated with respect to the central pipe section 4b.
The wall regions indicated by 9, 10, 11 between the upper and lower end faces of the tube section 4b and the tube sections 4a, 3b, 3c, 4a, 5c, 5b adjacent to this result in the deformation pockets mentioned above. The same naturally applies to all other pipe sections, that is to say the deformation pockets are correspondingly provided with regard to the other pipe sections.
The deformation pockets corresponding to the regions 9, 10, 11 thus define zones within the essentially honeycomb-shaped lattice structure which have an energy-absorbing effect.
Basically, it should be noted that the individual pipe sections 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b can consist of individual profiles or also of composite profiles. In Fig. 4 the pipe section 4c is shown as an element consisting of two individual profiles, while the remaining pipe sections are shown as composite profiles.
Fig. 4 also shows in detail the formation of the lattice structure and illustrates the presence of double wall surfaces as a result of the joining together of individual pipe sections (e.g. reference number 8).
The pipe sections in the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 4 are honeycomb-shaped in cross section, respectively. hexagonal. Obviously, the number of corners of the pipe sections can be increased or decreased.
The design of the individual pipe sections is such that, as shown, they are designed essentially symmetrically to a center line to be thought of and ensures symmetrical load transfer in the case of explosive charges introduced, as is illustrated in FIG. 4 by the explosive charge indicated by reference number 12 .
A protective grille with the features described above thus has a high protection value due to the double material thickness at all connection zones and due to the spaces formed between the individual walls in accordance with the areas 9, 10, 11. In the case of attacks with cutting charges or the like, the energy generated in the deformation pockets or zones is absorbed by deformation as a result of the inflation of the deformation pockets. The destructive effects of explosive charges are reduced to a minimum.
The deformation regions explained above, which are defined between the end faces 6, 7 of each pipe section, result from the fact that the walls of the pipe sections adjacent to one another run parallel beyond the zones 9, 10, 11 and are not fixed in the zones 9, 10, 11 are welded or fused, that is, more or less large cavities form these deformation areas or deformation pockets.
In the area of the connection of the pipe sections 3a, 4a, opposite the frame 1, the pipe sections are also welded to the frame 1, wherein the welding can be carried out not only in the area of the end faces of the pipe sections, but across their depth if this appears necessary.
The dimensions, i.e. wall thicknesses and clear width of the pipe sections, as well as their depth, are determined depending on the designed resistance value of the protective grille.
In a preferred embodiment of the protective grille according to the invention, the wall thickness of the tube sections is between 2 mm and 20 mm, the depth of the grille body is between 50 mm and 50 cm, while the edge length of the individual honeycomb sections is between 20 mm and 200 mm.
5 shows a preferred embodiment of the protective grid according to the invention after the explosion of a charge introduced into the protective grid. According to FIG. 5, the explosion tore a central hole in the protective grille, part of the energy being absorbed laterally by the torn open honeycomb structures. The destruction is therefore limited even with loads with high energy spread.
A protective grille of the type according to the invention is provided with a frame 1 for receiving the grille body 2, in which the essentially honeycomb structure is formed by pipe sections in that adjacent pipe sections are welded on their end faces. The pipe sections on the frame are welded to the frame.
