Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht einer Bogenanleger- Bändertisch-Druckmaschineneinheit
Fig. 2 der vergrösserte Ausschnitt "A" der Einheit nach Fig. 1.
The invention relates to a sheet feeder with a suction head unit, by means of which sheets can be removed from a stack of sheets and fed to the suction head unit of a further transport device by drag suction devices, with a sheet flap arranged in the front upper region of the sheet stack, which flaps between a vertically upward direction in the working cycle of the suction head unit , with its free end above the level of the uppermost sheet of the sheet stack projecting starting position and an approximately horizontal conveying position directed in the conveying direction can be driven movably.
Sheets of various materials and sheet thicknesses are processed with sheet feeders of the type mentioned at the beginning. The suction cups take over the sheet that is lifted from the sheet stack and move it to the further transport device, which e.g. can be a conveyor table. So that the raised sheet remains largely stretched with its end projecting freely in the conveying direction, the raised sheet is blown from the back of the sheet stack. In sync with the movement of the drag vacuum cleaner, the bow flap is also pivoted into a position inclined in the conveying direction and forms a guide surface that feeds the free bow end of the further transport device in a ramp-like manner.
If thin sheets or sheets with a surface with low static friction are processed, the blown air blown off the raised sheet can lead to the fact that the uppermost sheet of the sheet stack, which has not yet been lifted, is also moved to the further transport device by the blow air flow when the sheet flap is folded over and is captured by it. This results in double sheet conveyance, so that the working operation of the sheet feeder and the machine to be supplied with sheets must be interrupted.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a sheet feeder of the type mentioned at the outset, by means of which perfect sheet conveyance takes place regardless of the sheet quality to be processed in each case.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the working cycle of the drive of the curved flap can be adjusted so that it can be changed in advance or in advance of the working cycle of the suction head unit. By lagging the pivoting of the sheet flap, the blowing air can not move the top sheet of the sheet stack that has not yet been lifted at the same time as the lifted sheet in the conveying direction, since such movement is prevented by the sheet flap still standing vertically. The raised bow strikes the bow flap with its front edge and is curved due to the conveyor movement of the suction cups and the exposure to the blown air.
As soon as the sheet flap is pivoted in the conveying direction, the arch of the sheet relaxes, so that its leading edge moves at high speed in the conveying direction and, even if the non-raised sheet is displaced by the blown air flow, it leads considerably and is correctly detected by the onward transport device. The trailing, not raised sheets are then pushed back into their original position on the sheet stack by the sheet flap which then swivels back into its starting position.
In the case of arches of high rigidity, there is no such risk of the unintentionally conveying the non-raised upper arches by the blown air. However, in order to ensure easy bending of the rigid arch on the ramp-like arch flap, particularly at the beginning of the movement of the arch in the conveying direction, the pivoting movement of the arch flap preferably leads the transport movement of the suction cups. As a result, the front edge of the sheet reaches a sheet flap that is already inclined by a certain amount, which ensures that the sheet slides easily.
Depending on the type and quality of the sheets to be processed, the degree of advancement or advance of the working cycle of the suction head unit can be variably adjustable, and the degree of advancement or advance of the working stroke of the suction head unit can be set manually.
The suction head unit and the bow flap can have separate drives in order to enable the work cycle of the bow flap to be adjusted in a simple manner. The suction head unit and / or the bow flap can preferably be driven by an electric motor.
A small installation space for the drive of the bow flap is achieved in that the drive of the bow flap is a reversible linear drive.
The starting position of the curved flap can be adjustable inclined in and / or against the conveying direction. The starting position inclined against the conveying direction is advantageous in the case of thin sheets, since this ensures that the uppermost sheets that are not lifted by the blown air are prevented from sliding over with high certainty.
The initial position of the sheet flap, which is inclined in the conveying direction, is advantageous in the case of rigid sheets, since it ensures that the uppermost sheet, which has been lifted and moved in the conveying direction by the suction cups, is easier to slide on. I.
In order to ensure that the sheets are conveyed on a cycle-accurate basis, the further transport device can be driven in the work cycle of the suction head unit.
In order to compensate for inaccuracies in timing at the end of the conveying device, the conveying device can be adjustable in advance or lag of the drive of the suction head unit.
The further transport device is preferably a belt table.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and will be described in more detail below. Show it
Fig. 1 is a side view of a sheet feeder belt table printing machine unit
2 shows the enlarged section "A" of the unit according to FIG. 1.
The unit in FIG. 1 consists of a sheet feeder 10, from which sheets of a sheet stack 3 are occasionally fed to a belt table 9. This belt table 9 has a table level 12, at the beginning and end of deflection rollers 13 and under the table level 12 tensioning rollers 14 are rotatably arranged. Endless conveyor belts 15 are guided over the table plane 12 and around the deflection rollers 13 and the tensioning rollers 14. Either the sheet transfer-side or the sheet transfer-side deflection roller 13 can be rotatably driven by a drive, in particular by an electric motor drive, so that the sheets fed to the belt table 9 e.g. can be fed in a shingled stream to a printing machine 11 following the sheet transfer side on the belt table 9.
The sheet feeder 10 has a device by which the sheet stack 3 is permanently raised in such a way that its uppermost sheet 2 is at a certain height level.
In the common work cycle of the printing press 11, the belt table 9 and the sheet feeder 10 specified by the printing press 11, a suction head unit 1 of the sheet feeder 10 detects the top sheet 2 of the sheet stack 3, is lifted by the sheet stack 3 and transferred to the suction cup 4 of the suction head unit 1 .
By means of blowers, not shown, arranged on the rear side of the sheet stack 3 in the conveying direction 7, blowing air is blown in the conveying direction 7 into the gap 17 between the uppermost, non-raised sheet of the sheet stack 3 and the uppermost raised sheet 2. As a result, the raised sheet 2 also remains with its region 18 projecting freely forward in a position which is separate from the sheet stack 3 and is stretched in the conveying direction 7.
In this phase of the work cycle, a sheet flap 5 arranged in the front upper region of the sheet stack 3 is still in its starting position which is directed vertically upwards and with its free end projecting beyond the level of the uppermost sheet 2 of the sheet stack 3, so that both the sheets of the sheet stack 3 as well as the raised sheet 2 rest with their leading edge on the sheet flap 5.
The bow flap 5 is at its lower end about a pivot axis 19 extending transversely to the conveying direction 7 by an especially not shown electromotive bow flap drive in the working cycle of the suction head unit 1 between the vertical or approximately vertical upward starting position, which is shown in FIG. 2 with a solid line is movably drivable in a conveying position directed approximately in the conveying direction 7 or inclined in the conveying direction 7. In the conveyed position, the bow flap 5 is shown in FIG. 2 by a broken line.
Two further starting positions of the arch flap 5 which differ from the vertical position are shown in FIG. 2 by dash-dotted lines.
The initial position of the arch flap 5, which is inclined by approximately 5 * against the conveying direction, is particularly advantageous in the case of thin, light sheets, while the initial position of the arch flap 5, likewise inclined in the conveying direction 7 by approximately 5 °, is preferably used in the case of heavy, rigid arch.
In Fig. 2, the raised sheet 2 is stretched on the one hand with a solid line and on the other hand is shown arched with a broken line.
In the stretched position, the bow 2 is when the drag vacuum 4 and bow flap 5 move in the same rhythm.
The arch 2 is given a curved position when the arch flap 5 lags behind the working cycle of the suction cups 4 and thus the suction head unit 1 in its working cycle.
As a result, the front edge of the sheet 2 is pressed by the drag suction movement against the sheet flap 5, which is still vertical, and, supported by the blowing air 20, is curved upward.
As soon as the sheet flap 5 is also pivoted, the sheet 2 can follow and the curvature 21 can relax, so that the transfer by the conveyor belts 15 of the belt table 9 can again take place in accordance with the cycle.
