Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Schlauchbeutelpackung mit Aufreisshilfe, insbesondere für Nahrungsmittelstücke, gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1. Durch die Erfindung wurde nämlich die Erkenntnis gewonnen, dass die Packung sich besonders bequem öffnen lässt, wenn die Längsnahtwurzel 2' (Fig. 2) bzw. 12' (Fig. 3) derart zwischen zwei Aufreissbändern angeordnet ist, dass der Abstand zwischen der äusseren Kante 8 eines Aufreissbandes 6 und dem äusseren Rand 9 der Schlauchbeutelpackung mindestens im Bereich der vier Quernahtenden kleiner als das Vierfache der Breite B des Aufreissbandes 6 ist. Es hat sich überraschenderweise gezeigt, dass eine solche Schlauchbeutelpak-kung immer so aufgerissen werden kann, dass dann ganze Stücke 1 oder mindestens an Einkerbungen 10 (Fig. 3) abgebrochene Teile davon mühelos entfernt werden können.
