Fig. 4 zeigt schematisch die Arbeitsweise der Vorrichtung.
The present invention relates to a method for producing molded parts from flat material, blanks being cut out and deformed in a transfer tool. In order to achieve a good utilization of the flat material, particularly if it is a relatively valuable, coated material, it is necessary and customary to cut blanks from strips or strips of the flat material in two rows at transversely and longitudinally offset locations (FIG. 4 ). Usually, two blanks that are not directly adjacent are cut out at the same time and then deformed.
In this case, a good utilization of the flat material is possible, but the production of two blanks per stroke requires either the further processing of the same in two transfer tools working with the same cadence or the operation of the cutting tool for the blanks with half the cadence combined with a staggered feed of Blanks to a transfer tool. It would also be possible to cut out only one blank per stroke with one cutting tool, but this only leads to an optimal use of the flat material if the strip or the strip from which the blanks are to be cut, not only lengthways, but also is continuously shifted in the transverse direction, which is practically impossible with high work cadences, among other things due to the fine remaining grid.
The aim of the present invention is to enable simple movement of the flat material with high work cadences and optimal use of the flat material, which does not lead to any difficulties with regard to the strength of the remaining grid or the accuracy of the positioning of the flat material. Claims 1-3 list measures to solve the problem.
The invention also relates to a device for carrying out the method according to claims 4 to 8.
The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing.
1 is a schematic end view of a press with the device according to the invention,
FIG. 2 shows a top view of the lower part of a cutting and drawing tool,
Fig. 3 shows schematically a clutch and arranged between the press drive and the cutting-pulling tool
Fig. 4 shows schematically the operation of the device.
In Fig. 1, a press 1 is shown schematically, with an eccentric shaft 2, a connecting rod 3 and a press ram 4. On the underside of the press ram 4, the upper part of a transfer tool indicated in FIG. 4 is attached, which cooperates with a lower part of the transfer tool in the usual way.
On the front side of the press ram 4, the upper part 5 of a cutting-drawing tool is fastened, in which two cutting-drawing dies 6 and 7 are guided so as to be vertically adjustable. A cranked shaft 8 controls the two cutting dies 6 and 7 in such a way that one of the cutting dies (7) is in a lower effective position, while the other (6) is in a retracted, inactive position. The cranked shaft 8 is controlled by a stepping transmission, which is driven by the eccentric shaft 2 via schematically illustrated transmissions 10, 11 and 12 or shafts 13, 14 and 15.
As will be explained in more detail, the cranked shaft 8 is rotated by 180 ° after each press stroke in order to retract the previously active cutting-pulling punch into its inactive position and to advance the previously ineffective cutting-pulling punch into its effective position. The gear 12 is shown in more detail in FIG. 3. The shaft 14 rotatably and displaceably engages in a housing 16 and carries a perforated disk or toothed disk 17 at the lower end, which engages in longitudinal bars 18 or an external toothing so as to be axially displaceable. The shaft 15 is connected to the housing 16. The rotation is thus transmitted from the shaft 14 to the shaft 15, and the shaft 15 with the housing 16 can follow the movement of the press ram 4 to which the stepping gear mechanism 9 is attached in the vertical direction.
The lower part 19 of the cutting / drawing tool is designed as a die with two offset bores 20.
4, the press 1 is shown purely schematically. Various stations or positions of a molded part or blank 22 are shown in the transfer tool 21, which is also indicated purely schematically. 4 also shows gripper linkages 23 which serve to transfer cut blanks 22 into the entry guide 24 of the transfer tool. As shown in Fig. 4, strips 25 are inserted in the direction of the arrow from left to right into the cutting-drawing tool in order to cut out blanks. At each press stroke, a blank is cut out, alternately by the cut-punch 6 or the cut-punch 7. These cut-dies 6 and 7 or the associated bores 20 of the lower part of the tool are longitudinally and transversely offset at a distance greater than the distance between adjacent blanks to be cut.
The mutual spacing of blanks to be cut out is therefore not tied to a minimum spacing between adjacent cut-drawing punches or bores 20 in the lower part of the tool, but exclusively by limits set by the flat material to be processed.
In FIG. 4, some representations of the strip 25 show how the cutting process basically takes place. In an assumed first stroke, the blank 22a lying on the far right in the upper row is cut out by the punch 7. For the next stroke, the strip 25 remains in the same position and the punch 6 then effective cuts out the blank 22b. The strip 25 is then advanced by one step. At the next stroke, the punch 7 then cuts out the blank 22c. For the next stroke, the strip 25 remains in the same position, so that the punch 6 cuts out the next blank 22d in the lower row. In this way, individual blanks are cut out one after the other and then transferred alternately through one of the gripper rods 23 to the input of the transfer tool.
While it is assumed in the exemplary embodiment that blanks or strips would be cut out in two rows in the usual way, more than two rows could possibly be cut out, the cutting / drawing tool having to have more than two alternatively effective cutting / drawing punches. The strip or tape could then remain in the same position until all the cutting punches were effective once, as described above for two stamps, and the strip or tape would then be advanced by one step.
The blanks can be conveyed from the cutting / drawing tool to the transfer tool in another way, for example pneumatically.
From the drawing and the above it can be seen that the strip 25 or any length of the same width of the same width outside the transfer tool is carried out step by step in its longitudinal direction without transverse movement. The residual lattice remaining after the blanks have been cut out does not therefore need to have any particular strength in order to be discharged in an orderly manner, and precise guidance and positioning of the strip or strip does not present any particular difficulties.
It would also be possible to provide only one cut or cut drawing punch which can be displaced transversely to the direction of travel of the strip or strip in order to alternatively cut blanks in two or more rows.
