Abstract
A rotating mass (3) drives an annular permanent magnet (18), transversely magnetised, which interacts with pole pieces (14c and 15c) of the armature (14 and 15) of the rotor (2) of a micro-generator, comprising, in addition, an annular magnet (12). This rotor interacts with a stator (1) comprising a winding (5) and armature pieces (6 and 7). When the magnetic force present between the drive magnet (18) and the rotor (2) overcomes the magnetic force present between the rotor (2) and the stator (1), the rotor "unlocks" suddenly and places itself in the position in which the diameter on which the two pole pieces (14c and 15c) are situated is parallel to the magnetic field of the magnet (18). In the course of this sudden movement of the rotor, an electrical current is produced. The mass (3) can turn in any direction and by any number of turns, in order to produce the current, the link between the magnet (18) and the rotor (2) comprising no limitation of the angular offsets of these two elements. <IMAGE>
