Abstract

The bag consists of a sheet (10) of tear-resistant material, e.g. high-density polyethylene, which may be spread at least partly over the surface of the litter tray. Edge portions (11) of the sheet allow temporary fastening over the lips of the tray. A litter product may be spread over the surface of the sheet. After use the edges of the sheet may be gripped manually and gathered to form a closure, which may be secured by a cord (12) passing through a sleeve formed peripherally in the edge of the sheet. ADVANTAGE - Keeps tray surface clean and allows simple, hygienic handling of soiled litter.

  Les propriétaires de chats utilisent pour les besoins de leurs compagnons des caisses qu'ils remplissent d'un produit divisé, par exemple du sable. A intervalles réguliers le contenu de ces caisses, rempli d'excréments mélanges au produit divisé, est vidé et remplacé par du produit propre. Cette opération est souvent malaisée et ne s'effectue pas toujours dans les meilleures conditions d'hygiène. 



  La présente invention a pour objet un sac pour caisse à chat qui permet d'exécuter cette opération très facilement et sans que les mains de l'utilisateur puissent entrer en contact avec le contenu souillé de la caisse au moment où elle doit être vidée. 



  Ce sac est défini par la revendication 1 de la demande. 



  Le dessin ci-annexé représente, schématiquement et à titre d'exemple non limitatif, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention. 
 
   La fig. 1 en est une vue en plan, à plat, avant usage. 
   Les fig. 2 et 3 sont des vues, respectivement en plan et en coupe par la ligne III-III de la fig. 2 d'une caisse à chat. 
   La fig. 4 est une vue analogue à la fig. 3 montrant le sac mis en place sur la caisse. 
   La fig. 5 est une vue en élévation, partiellement déchirée, du sac enlevé de la caisse et prêt à être jeté avec son contenu souillé. 
 



  Le sac représenté au dessin est constitué par une feuille 10, de forme sensiblement rectangulaire, en matériau souple, imperméable et indéchirable, avantageusement en matière plastique, par exemple en polyéthylène de haute densité composé de fibres entrecroisées connu sous le nom "TYVEK", par une gaine transparente souple 11, avantageusement en matière plastique, par exemple en polyéthylène de basse densité, soudée à chaud sur le pourtour de la feuille 10, et par un cordon 12 passant dans la gaine 11. Ce cordon 12 entre dans la gaine 11 et en ressort par des ouvertures adjacentes 14. 



  Ce sac s'utilise comme suit: 



  On dispose la feuille 10 dans la caisse A comme illustré à la fig. 4 et on recouvre la surface en contact avec le fond de la caisse d'une certaine quantité d'un produit divisé, par exemple de sable S. 



  On tire ensuite sur les extrémités du cordon 12 de manière à bien fixer cette feuille 10 sur le bord de cette caisse, la gaine 11 à l'extérieur de ce bord. 



  Lorsque le sable S est souillé par les excréments du chat, on desserre le cordon 12 ce qui libère la gaine 11. 



  On dégage alors cette dernière du bord de la caisse A, puis on resserre le cordon 12 jusqu'à ce que la feuille 10 prenne la forme d'un sac complètement fermé, comme illustré à la fig. 5, dans lequel le sable souillé et les excréments sont enfermés. 



   On peut alors jeter le sac et son contenu, et le remplacer par un sac propre. 



  Il n'existe aucun risque, au cours de cette manipulation, que les mains de l'opérateur entrent en contact avec le sable souillé et les excréments du chat. 



  L'invention n'est évidemment pas limitée à la forme d'exécution décrite et représentée. 



  En particulier, les moyens pour fixer temporairement et amoviblement la feuille 10 dans la caisse A pourraient être différents de ceux représentés. Par exemple, ces moyens pourraient comprendre des bandes. On notera encore, parmi les avantages du sac décrit, qu'il est constitué par des matériaux respectueux de l'environnement. 



  
 



  Cat owners use crates for the needs of their companions, which they fill with a divided product, for example sand. The contents of these boxes, filled with excrement mixed with the divided product, are emptied at regular intervals and replaced with clean product. This operation is often difficult and is not always carried out in the best hygienic conditions.



  The subject of the present invention is a bag for a cat crate which makes it possible to execute this operation very easily and without the user's hands being able to come into contact with the soiled contents of the crate when it has to be emptied.



  This bag is defined by claim 1 of the application.



  The attached drawing shows, schematically and by way of nonlimiting example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
 
   Fig. 1 is a plan view, flat, before use.
   Figs. 2 and 3 are views, respectively in plan and in section through line III-III of FIG. 2 of a cat crate.
   Fig. 4 is a view similar to FIG. 3 showing the bag placed on the body.
   Fig. 5 is an elevational view, partially torn, of the bag removed from the box and ready to be discarded with its soiled contents.
 



  The bag shown in the drawing consists of a sheet 10, of substantially rectangular shape, made of flexible, waterproof and tear-resistant material, advantageously of plastic material, for example of high density polyethylene composed of interlaced fibers known by the name "TYVEK", by a flexible transparent sheath 11, advantageously made of plastic, for example of low density polyethylene, heat welded around the periphery of the sheet 10, and by a cord 12 passing through the sheath 11. This cord 12 enters the sheath 11 and comes out of it through adjacent openings 14.



  This bag is used as follows:



  The sheet 10 is placed in the box A as illustrated in FIG. 4 and the surface in contact with the bottom of the box is covered with a certain amount of a divided product, for example of sand S.



  Then pulls on the ends of the cord 12 so as to secure this sheet 10 on the edge of this box, the sheath 11 outside this edge.



  When the sand S is soiled by the cat's excrement, the cord 12 is loosened, which releases the sheath 11.



  The latter is then released from the edge of the box A, then the cord 12 is tightened until the sheet 10 takes the form of a completely closed bag, as illustrated in FIG. 5, in which the soiled sand and the excrement are enclosed.



   We can then throw away the bag and its contents, and replace it with a clean bag.



  There is no risk, during this handling, that the operator's hands come into contact with contaminated sand and cat feces.



  The invention is obviously not limited to the embodiment described and shown.



  In particular, the means for temporarily and removably fixing the sheet 10 in the box A could be different from those shown. For example, these means could include bands. It will also be noted, among the advantages of the bag described, that it is made of environmentally friendly materials.

Claims

1. Hygienic bag for cat box, characterized in that it consists of a sheet (10), made of a tear-resistant material, intended to be placed at least partly on the bottom of the box and covered with a divided product and by means (11, 12) allowing on the one hand to temporarily and removably fix this sheet (10) in this position, and on the other hand to remove it manually and bring its edges together to form a closed bag in which are contained: the said product and the cat's excrement.

2. Bag according to claim 1, characterized in that said sheet (10) is made of plastic.

3. Bag according to claim 2, characterized in that said sheet (10) is made of high density polyethylene fibers.
