Abstract

The watch casing contains the movement of the analogue watch, and includes a frame, base, and cover glass support frame. The casing also supports an adjuster (11) projecting from the side, and two push-buttons (12,14) on the side which require radial displacement for operation. The casing further includes a peripheral ring made of supply rubber (15), of radial thickness adequate to accommodate the adjuster. The flexibility of the rubber allows the pushbuttons to be operated through the rubber. ADVANTAGE - Rubber gives watch a uniform outer shape, and protects mechanism and controls against shocks.

L'extrémité du poussoir comportant la tête 40 est logée dans la cavité 43, alors que la tige 41 traverse le passage 44. L'épaisseur de la paroi de la cavité 43 est par ailleurs choisie de manière que la pression exercée par un doigt puisse l'aplatir et amener le poussoir en butée. Enfin il est évident que l'anneau 15, en entourant le poussoir 40,41, assure son étanchéité. 1. Watch case intended to contain a movement provided with a control member (11, 35; 40, 41) acting substantially perpendicularly to the perimeter thereof, characterized in that it further comprises a peripheral ring (15 ) in deformable synthetic material, closed on itself, and in that said ring comprises a housing (36; 43, 44) for receiving a part of said control member (11.35; 40.41).

2. Watch case according to claim 1, characterized in that said housing is constituted by an opening (36) passing through said ring (15) substantially perpendicular to said perimeter to let pass a rod (35) terminated by a crown (11), the rod and the crown forming said control member.

3. Watch case according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said housing is constituted by a deformable cavity (43, 44) formed in said ring (15) and serving to receive the end of a pusher (40, 41), the pusher constituting said control member.

4. Watch case according to one of the preceding claims, said case comprising a middle part (20), a base (21) and a bezel (22) supporting a crystal (23), characterized in that between the middle part (20 ) and the bezel (22) is formed an annular space (24) in which is disposed said ring (15).

5. Watch case according to claim (4), characterized in that said space (24) has a substantially rectangular section.

6. Watch case according to claim 4 or 5, characterized in that said space comprises an annular groove (25) formed in the middle part (20) and an annular groove (26) formed in the bezel (22), and in that that said ring comprises two shoulders (27, 28), each shoulder coming to take place in one of said grooves.

7. Watch case according to claims 2 and 3, characterized in that it comprises a rod (25) terminated by a crown (11), and two pushers (40, 41) for controlling an analog chronograph movement.

8. Watch case according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said ring (15) is made of rubber.

9. Watch case according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said ring (15) is integral with the ends of a bracelet (16).

10. Watch case according to claim 9, characterized in that said ring (15) and said bracelet (16) form a single piece.
