BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to an earth connection for connecting an earth line of an electrical system to ground, consisting of a terminal, a connection element for the earth line and a line electrically connecting the two parts.
Electrical house systems are traditionally grounded by connecting the earth line to the water line.
For this purpose, a clamp in the form of a sleeve or clip was placed around the metal water pipe and the earth pipe was attached directly to it. Since water pipes have been made more and more from plastic pipes in recent years, this method has been abandoned. Instead, the earth line has been connected directly or indirectly to the iron reinforcement of the building for several years. Various metal constructions are known for this. An earth connection that is strongly represented on the market consists of a metal rod that is slotted on one side and has a connection element on the other side for fastening the earth line.
The slotted end of the rod is placed on a reinforcing iron and then conductively connected to the reinforcement with a clamping screw or by appropriate deformation. The earth connection must be installed in the formwork before concreting. If you first attached the connection element to the formwork, then when creating the electrical connection, a tipping or pulling force was often created on the connection element already attached to the formwork, so that it no longer abutted the formwork. As a result, concrete milk or so-called boake often flowed into the internally threaded blind hole of the connection element and made it difficult to establish the connection to the earth line.
In addition, the known earth connection always had to be installed vertically above a reinforcing iron, which restricted the choice of location.
It is the object of the present invention to provide an earth connection according to the preamble of claim 1, which eliminates the difficulties mentioned and allows greater freedom in the choice of the attachment location of the connection element.
This problem is solved by an earth connection for connecting an earth line of an electrical system to ground, consisting of a terminal, a connection element for the earth line and a line electrically connecting the two parts in that a flexible cable is firmly connected to the connection element and a loose screw terminal for Connection of the cable is attached to the ground at any point on the cable.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown and explained in the subsequent description.
It shows:
Figure 1 shows the grounding connection in the 'installation position'
FIG. 2 turned the same connection around 1800,
Figure 3 shows the clamp according to Figures 1 and 2 in side view.
In Fig. 1, the three main elements of the ground connection according to the invention are clearly recognizable. With 1 the connection element is designated, in which a flexible cable 3 is firmly anchored. The connection between the armature A serving as ground and the flexible cable 3 produces the screw connection 2. In Figure 1, the connection element 1 can be seen from the side visible in the installed state. The connecting element 1 is made of a metal bolt 10 with a central blind hole 11 with an internal thread 12.
The connecting bolt 10 is pressed into a square mounting plate 13 and can be additionally soldered or welded to it. In the corners of the mounting plate 13 existing through holes 14 are used to attach the connecting element 1 to a formwork of a wall or floor slab during construction. After completion of the wall or floor slab, first the nails and then the formwork are removed and the fastening plate 13 with the earthing sign attached to it becomes visible. If the fastening plate 13 has been nailed firmly onto the formwork, no concrete milk or boake gets between the fastening plate and the formwork. The type of connection of the connection element 1 with the flexible cable 3 can be seen in FIG.
The cable 3 was inserted through a radial through hole 15 in the connecting bolt 10.
The through hole was deformed from the end face 16 of the connecting bolt 10 near the radial through hole 15 by means of a ball pressed onto the end face to such an extent that a perfect, form-fitting connection between the connecting element 1 and the cable 3 is achieved.
The end of the flexible cable 3 is protected with a sleeve 31. All parts of the earth connection are made of the same material, preferably iron, so that no electrostatic voltage corrosion occurs.
The loose screw terminal 2, which establishes the electrical connection between the cable 3 and the ground, is shown in side view in FIG. A rigid holder 20 serves to receive a reinforcing iron A and the flexible cable 3.
The holder 20, which has been formed from a robust flat iron, has an approximately U-shaped cross-sectional shape. One leg 21 extends approximately perpendicular to the base 22, while the second leg 23 is inclined towards the vertical leg 21.
The opening remaining between the two legs 21 and 23 is so wide that the holder 20 can easily be pushed onto a reinforcing bar. A vertical threaded bore for receiving a clamping screw 24 is provided in the vertical leg 21. The longitudinal axis of the screw 24 is directed towards the inclined leg 23. When the clamping screw 24 is tightened, the cable 3 deviates as far as possible from the base 22 of the holder 2, is deformed and wedges between the screw, the holder and the reinforcing iron which lies in the holder. The shape of the screw terminal described creates a particularly intimate electrical connection between the cable 3 and the armoring A.
