Cheminée mit einem Feuerrost, seitlichen Begrenzungswänden und einer Rückwand sowie weiter mit einem Gebläse und einem in der Rauchabzugshaube angeordneten, von der Luft horizontal durchströmten Wärmetauscher, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Gebläse (13) und die Einlassöffnungen (16,17) für die zu erwärmende Luft unterhalb des Feuerrostes (5) vorgesehen sind und ein vom Gebläse (13) zum Wärmetauscher (7) führender Luft-Kanal (12,20) hinter der Rückwand (4) angeordnet ist, der oberhalb der Sturzunterkante (18) angenähert horizontal in den Wärmetauscher (7) einmündet.1. Das Cheminée enthält einen Feuerraum 2, welcher durch zwei vertikale seitliche Begrenzungswände 3 und eine Rückwand 4 begrenzt ist. Oberhalb des Feuerrostes 5 wird das zu verbrennende Material angeordnet bzw. dort befindet sich die Glut. Die Rauchgase werden oberhalb des Feuerraumes 2 von einem Rauchabzug 6 aufgenommen und in ein Kamin 14 weitergeleitet. Auf der Cheminée-Vorderseite kann der Feuerraum 2 durch eine Glasscheibe 8 abgeschlossen werden. Diese Glasscheibe 8 lässt sich entlang eines Vertikalrahmens 9 hochschieben bzw. herunterziehen. Hinter der Rückwand 4 befindet sich mindestens ein Luftkanal 12, der unten mit einem Ventilator 13 in Verbindung steht. Dieser Luftkanal 12 kann sich entweder über die ganze Breite der Rückwand 4 erstrecken, oder aber es können einzelne Kanäle vorhanden sein. Am oberen Ende des Luftkanals 12 oberhalb der Sturzunterkante 18 befindet sich ein Wärmetauscher 7, an welchen zwei Warmluftabzugsrohre 15 angeschlossen sind.
