The invention relates to a heating fireplace according to the preamble of claim 1.

With fireplaces that are set up freely in a room, it is desirable that the fireplace can be seen from all sides. ^On the other hand, in order to achieve a good heat output and protection against sparks, it is desirable to surround the fireplace with glass panes. One disadvantage that has been found is that the smoke gases in the firebox cause the glass panes to darken.

The task to be solved by the innovation is to provide means that largely prevent the blackening of the glass panes by the smoke gases.

This object is achieved by the features mentioned in the characterising part of claim 1.

This creates a ring-shaped air curtain emerging from the exit gap under the shell, which protects the glass panes against blackening or clouding caused by smoke deposits.

,--ν The combustion chamber floor below is lined with firebricks 9. Between these firebricks and the underside of the bowl 8 there is an annular gap 10 for the air to escape. This gap 10 is connected to an annular channel 11 which radially surrounds the ash container 7 and which in turn opens into an air inlet channel 12 at the bottom.

Of the glass panes enclosing the combustion chamber 1, two approximately quarter-circular glass panes 13 can be moved in opposite directions on a circular path behind the permanently installed glass panes 14. The permanently installed glass panes 14 are designed as double glass panes, between which there is a radial gap 16. This gap 16 opens into a heat exchange chamber 18 at the top and is connected to an air inlet 24 and a fan 20 at the bottom. The fan 20 is connected to a mixing chamber 22, which can be supplied with both fresh air and room air. The proportion of fresh air and room air can be regulated with at least one flap. It is also possible, however, to only supply recirculated air to the fan 20.

The two movable, heat-resistant panes 13 are suspended in a suspension track 26 which is surrounded by a corner plate 27, which also serves as an apron support frame. The suspension track 26 is supported by three vertical supports

which are arranged between the substructure and the outer casing 2 .

The way this fireplace works is as follows:

The flue gases rise upwards inside the combustion chamber 1. The air supplied through the air inlet channel 12 enters the combustion chamber 1 through the outlet gap 10 below the shell 8, as shown by arrows A, radially outside the fireplace, and thereby surrounds the glass panes 13, 14 on their inside. In this way, an annular air curtain is formed which prevents flue gases and ash particles from settling on the glass panes 13, 14 and blackening them. The flue gases leave the combustion chamber 1 at the top via the chimney 3 and the flue gas exhaust pipe 4 in the direction of arrow B. The air conveyed by the fan reaches between the two approximately semicircular glass panes, rises upwards in the direction of arrow C, heats up in this gap 16 and is then heated further in the heat exchange chamber 18. It then enters one or more warm air outlet openings JO and is guided in the direction of the arrows D into the rooms to be heated.

The heat exchanger could also be designed in such a way that there are cross pipes in the chimney through which the air flows.

Heating fireplace with a fire grate and an ash container underneath, with a smoke exhaust, with a heat exchange chamber, with at least one air supply line and with walls surrounding the combustion chamber, characterized in that the walls are curved glass panes (13, 14) around the entire circumference and there is a shell (8) surrounding the fire grate (6), below the edge of the shell there is a radial outlet gap (10) for the air supplied to the combustion chamber, which forms an air curtain along the inside of the glass panes (13, 14). 2. Heating fireplace according to claim 1, characterized in that the ash container (7) is arranged in the center below the bowl (8) and is surrounded by a radial fresh air channel (11) connected to an air supply line (12) which leads into the outlet gap (10) at the top. 3. Heating fireplace according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the bowl (8) is circular and inclined upwards. 4. Heating fireplace according to one of claims 1-3, characterized in that two approximately quarter-circular glass pane doors (13) are movably mounted on a horizontal circular path and can be moved behind the stationary glass pane walls (14). 5. Heating fireplace according to one of claims 1-4, characterized in that there are two curved, stationary glass panes (14) arranged at a radial distance from one another, the space between them (16) being connected to an air supply line located below the fire grate (6) and the space (16) between these glass panes (14) leads into a heat exchange chamber (18) at the top. 6. Heating fireplace according to claims 4 and 5, characterized in that the approximately fourth circular glass panes (13) movable on a circular path are suspended on a long rail (26) carried by vertical supports (M) and can be moved along this rail behind the rigidly held glass pane frame (4). 7. Heating fireplace according to claim 5 or 6, characterized in that for the air to be heated below the combustion chamber (1) there is a fresh air and a room air inlet line, a fan (20) and at least one flap for regulating the proportion of fresh air.
