The combustion gas collecting region 46.1 can be configured as a soot separator and soot and fly ash can be removed via a suitably designed inspection cover 54.1.
In
A mantelpiece 50.1 is located above the combustion gas collection area 46.1. The combustion gas collecting region 46.1 is connected via an opening 52.1 to the chimney attachment 50.1. The mantelpiece 50.1 is arranged on a side of the combustion chamber 44.1 outstanding area of the combustion gas collection area 46.1. An air supply 62.1 is very short in this arrangement, it is virtually identical to a supply air pipe 60.1 of the combustion chamber 44.1. The mantelpiece 50.1 has on its side facing away from the combustion gas collection chamber 46.1 side of a combustion gas discharge 56.1 and a supply air connection 58.1, which are directly connected to a fireplace.

The combustion
