Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Vorprodukt für die Zubereitung aus Methylmethacrylat und Methylacrylat enthaltendes Vorpro-von Knochenzement, enthaltend pulverförmige Copolymerisate dukt erfindungsgemäss dadurch gelöst, dass es 15 bis 75 aus Methylmethacrylat und Methylacrylat. Implantaten, zur Verankerung von Gelenk-Endprothesen, bei 60 tiven Glaskeramik mit einer Teilchengrösse von 10 bis 200 der Versorgung von Schädel defekten und zur festen Verbindung Mikrometer und 1 bis 10 Gewichts-% glasiger Mineralfasern mit von Wirbelknochen miteinander verwendet. Sie werden durch einer unter 20 Millimeter liegenden Länge enthält. Vorzugsweise Vermischen von Vorprodukten aus pulverförmigen Methylme- besitzt die bioaktive Glaskeramik eine Teilchengrösse von 90 bis thacrylat-Homo oder Copolymerisate, geeigneten flüssigen 125 Mikrometer.
Monomeren, meist Methylmethacrylat, einem Katalysator- 65 Besonders bewährt hat sich ein Faser-Gehalt von 5 bis 10 System und gegebenenfalls Röntgenkontrastmitteln, wie z.B. Gewichts-% und eine Faser-Länge von 1 bis 10 Millimeter, vor-Zirkoniumdioxid, und Farbstoffen zum Erkennen des Zements zugsweise von 2 bis 5 Millimeter. Die glasigen Mineralfasern im Körper zunächst in Form eines plastischen Teigs erhalten, können aus Glas bestehen, vorzugsweise jedoch aus bioaktiver

Glaskeramik. Die Zusammensetzung der bioaktiven Glaskeramik entspricht vorteilhafterweise der des aus der Deutschen Patentschrift 2326 100 bekannten glaskeramischen Materials..
Dem erfindungsgemässen Vorprodukt kann auch noch ein Antibiotrikum, z.B. Gentamicin, zugesetzt werden. Der Zusatz von Antibiotika zu Knochenzementen ist z.B. aus der Deutschen Offenlegungsschrift 2022117 bekannt.
Aus dem erfindungsgemässen peroxid-haltigen Vorprodukt durch Vermischen mit monomerem Methylmethacrylat und Dimethyl-p-toluidin und Aushärten erhaltene Prüfkörper besitzen eine höhere Druckfestigkeit, eine bessere Schlagzähigkeit und einen höheren Elastizitätsmodul als aus Polymer/Mono-mer-Mischungen beziehungsweise aus bioaktive Glaskeramik oder glasige Mineralfasern enthaltenden Polymer/Monomer Mischungen zubereitete Prüfkörper.
Es war überraschend, dass das erfindungsgemässe Vorprodukt mit der Kombination aus pulverförmigem Copolymerisa-ten, bioaktiver Glaskeramik und glasigen Mineralfasern zu einem Knochenzement mit verbesserten mechanischen Eigenschaften führte.
In den folgenden Beispielen wird die Herstellung von Prüfkörpern aus Knochenzement-Mischungen ohne und mit Glaskeramik und/oder Glasfaser-Zusatz beschrieben.
Beispiel 1
10 Gewichtsteile eines Pulvers aus 70 Gewichtsteilen Glaskeramik mit einer Korngrösse von 90 bis 125 Mikrometer, 26,76 Gewichtsteilen Gemisch aus Copolymerisaten des Methylme-thacrylats mit Methylacrylat, 3 Gewichtsteilen Zirkoniumdioxid, 0,24 Gewichtsteilen Dibenzoylperoxid, werden mit 3 Gewichtsteilen einer Flüssigkeit aus 98 Gewichtsteilen Methylmethacrylat, 2 Gewichtsteilen Dimethyl-p-toluidin vermischt. Die nach einer Minute plastische teigförmige Mischung wird in einer dreiteiligen Metallform unter Druck (3 bar) zu porenfreien Prüfkörpern gepresst. Die Polymerisation ist nach etwa zehn Minuten beendet.
Beispiel 2
10 Gewichtsteile eines Pulvers aus 65 Gewichtsteilen Glaskeramik mit einer Korngrösse von 90 bis 125 Mikrometer, 5 Gewichtsteilen Glasfase'rn mit einer Faserlänge von 3 mm, 26,76 Gewichtsteilen Gemisch aus Copolymerisaten des Methyl-methacrylats mit Methylacrylat, 3 Gewichtsteilen Zirkoniumdioxid, 0,24 Gewichtsteilen Dibenzoylperoxid werden mit 3 Gewichtsteilen Methylmethacrylat, 2 Gewichtsteileneiner Flüssigkeit aus 98 Gewichtsteilen Dimethyl-p-toluidin vermischt und, wie in Beispiel 1 beschrieben, zu hyl-p-toluidin vermischt und, wie in Beispiel 1 beschrieben, zu Prüfkörpern verarbeitet.

Die in der Tabelle angegebenen Werte einiger mechanischer 45 Eigenschaften der Prüfkörper zeigen, dass die unter Verwendung des erfindungsgemässen Vorproduktes hergestellten Prüfkörper hohe Werte für Schlagzähigkeit und Elastizitätsmodul aufweisen.
Wie oben schon erwähnt, kann dem erfindungsgemässen so Vorprodukt auch ein Antibioticum zugesetzt werden. Aus der Vielzahl der infrage kommenden Antibiotica seien z.B. die folgenden genannt: Aminoglycosid-Antibiotica wie Amikacin, Butirosin, Didesoxykanamicyn B (DKB), Fortimycin, Gentamycin, Kanamycin, Lividomycin, Neomycin, Netilmicin, Riboss stamycin, Sagamycine, Seldomycine und deren Epimere, Siso-micin, Sorbistin, Tobramycin; Chloramphenical und -Derivate wie Thiamphenicol ; Erythromicine; Lacton-Antibiotica wie Novobiocin; Leucomycine wie Josamycin, Maridomycin, Midecamycin, Spiramycin ; Lincomycine wie Clindamycin, Lin-6o,comycin; Makrolide wie Rosamicin; Penicilline wie Amoxicillin, Ampicillin, Azlocillin-Natrium, Dicloxacillin-Natrium, Furoxacillin, Mecillinam, Piperacillin; Peptid-Antibiotica wie Bacitracin, Colistimethat-Natrium, Gramicidin, Polymyxine; Rifamycine wie Rifampicin, Rifamycin; Steroidantibiotica wie 65 Fusidinsäure; Streptomycine; Tetracycline wie Doxycyclin, Minocyclin, Tetracyclin; Cephalosporine wie Cefalotin, Cefa-mandol, Cefazedon, Cefazolin, Cefoxitin, Cefuroxim; sowie weitere Antibiotika, z.B. Claims (15)
- 635 1202PATENTANSPRÜCHE der dann in den Körper eingebracht wird und dort durch Poly-1. Vorprodukt für die Zubereitung von Knochenzement, merisation des Monomers aushärtet.Als Katalysator-System erhaltend pulverförmige Copolymerisate aus Methylmethacry- wird ein sogenanntes Redox-System aus einer oganischen Perlât und Methylacrylat, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es 15 bis 75 oxy-Verbindung, meist Dibenzoylperoxid, als Katalysator und Gewichts-%, bezogen auf das Vorprodukt, eines anorganischen 5 einer reduzierenden Komponente (Beschleuniger), wie z.B. Materials aus 90 bis 99 Gewichts-% einer pul verförmigen bioak- Dimethyl-p-toluidin, verwendet. So wird beispielsweise der aus tiven Glaskeramik mit einer Teilchengrösse von 10 bis 200 der Deutschen Auslegeschrift 2 229 702 bekannte Knochenze-Mikrometer und 1 bis 10 Gewichts-% glasiger Mineralfasern mit ment aus Polymethylmethacrylat und einem Monomer-einer unter 20 Millimeter liegenden Länge enthält.
