Abstract

With the aid of the plate-warming device, not only is a plate of food (1) preheated, but kept warm whilst eating by continuous transmission of heat through the heat element (3) located below the plate (1). This heat element (3) is preheated in a specifically produced apparatus. Using a special handle which engages in the groove (4), the heat element (3) preheated in this manner is placed on the board (2), also called place plate. When the board (2) with the heat element (3) has been placed on the table, a cold plate (1) is placed on top. The plate is heated and remains warm with the served meal. <IMAGE>

   PATENTANSPRÜCHE
1. Vorrichtung zum Vorwärmen und/oder Warmhalten eines Speisetellers während des Essens, mit einem die Wärme speichernden Wärmekörper, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der aus Leichtmetall oder einer Leichtmetallegierung hergestellte Wärmekörper in einem Serviertableau gehalten wird, das mit Abstand vom Esstisch den Wärmekörper aufnimmt, auf welchen der Speiseteller direkt abgestellt und während des Essens darauf verbleiben kann.



   2. Vorrichtung nach Patentanspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Wärmekörper auf der dem Teller und dem Serviertableau zugewandten Seite eine Aussparung hat und somit nur am äusseren Rande die Teller- bzw. Tableauauflage bildet, so dass ein Luftraum zwischen dem Teller und dem Wärmekörper sowie dem Tableau gebildet wird.



   3. Vorrichtung nach Patentanspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Serviertableau im Zentrum eine Vertiefung, im Durchmesser analog demjenigen des Wärmekörpers hat, wobei ferner die Auflage des Wärmekörpers einen Hohlraum aufweist als Wärmeisolation nach der Tischseite.



   4. Vorrichtung nach Patentanspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Wärmekörper aus einem Hohlkörper aus Aluminium besteht, der mit einer wärmespeichernden Füllung aus Schamotte oder ähnlichem Material gefüllt werden kann.



   Die hier beschriebene Erfindung ist eine Tellervorwärmebzw. Warmhaltevorrichtung für Speiseteller.



   Alle bis jetzt bekannten Tellerwärmevorrichtungen dienen dazu, einen Speiseteller vorzuwärmen, damit während des Essens die Speisen nicht allzuschnell abkalten.



   Das Vorwärmen von Tellern ist in der Gastronomie ein wichtiger Teil des Services. Für gehobene Ansprüche kommt meistens ein zweiter oder dritter Teller zur Anwendung, da die Gefahr des raschen Abkaltens des Keramiks sehr gross ist.



   Die nachstehend beschriebene Erfindung will diesen Nachteil eliminieren. Die hier umschriebene Vorrichtung dient dazu, auf dem Speisetisch selbst einen vorgewärmten Speiseteller herkömmlicher Art über lange Zeit warm zu halten, oder einen kalten Teller darauf vorzuwärmen und während der Essenszeit warm zu behalten.



   Ein Ausführungsbeispiel dieses Erfindungsgegenstandes wird nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnung beschrieben. Die Zeichnung zeigt einen   Meridianschnitt    einer kompletten Tellerwärmevorrichtung, umfassend einen Speiseteller 1 herkömmlicher Art sowie ein Servicetableau 2 aus Metall, das so angefertigt ist, dass in seinem Zentrum in erhöhter Lage von der Tischauflage eine runde Aussparung eingeprägt ist zur Aufnahme des erhitzen Wärmespeichers 3, der genau in die Vertiefung des   Tellerstandringes    passt.

 

   Der Wärmekörper 3 ist aus speziellem Leichtmetall oder einer Leichtmetallegierung hergestellt und im Durchmesser genau dem zu verwendenden Teller angepasst. Am Rande dieses runden Wärmekörpers 3 ist auf der oberen Seite eine Rille 4 eingedreht zum Fassen des heissen Wärmekörpers mit einem speziellen Griff. Ebenfalls auf der zum Teller gerichteten Seite des Wärmekörpers 3 ist eine Aussparung 5 vorhanden, damit der   Wännekörper    mit dem Speiseteller hier keinen Kontakt macht, so dass die Unebenheiten des Tellers nicht zur Wirkung kommen.



   An der unteren Seite des Wärmekörpers 3 ist eine Aussparung 6 vorhanden, um hier keinen Kontakt mit dem Tableau zu erhalten. Der Wärmekörper wird in einem speziell hergestellten Apparat, der hier nicht umschrieben ist und mit einem Thermostat geregelt wird, vorgewärmt.

   PATENT CLAIMS
1. Device for preheating and / or keeping a dinner plate warm while eating, with a heat-storing heat body, characterized in that the heat body made of light metal or a light metal alloy is held in a serving tray which receives the heat body at a distance from the dining table which the dinner plate can be placed directly on and remain on during the meal.



   2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the heat body on the side facing the plate and the serving tray has a recess and thus only forms the plate or tray support on the outer edge, so that an air space between the plate and the heat body and the tableau is formed.



   3. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the serving tray has a recess in the center, in diameter analogous to that of the heat body, and further the support of the heat body has a cavity as thermal insulation on the table side.



   4. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that the heat body consists of a hollow body made of aluminum, which can be filled with a heat-storing filling made of fireclay or similar material.

   The invention described below seeks to eliminate this disadvantage. The device described here serves to keep a preheated dinner plate of a conventional type warm on the dining table itself for a long time, or to preheat a cold plate and keep it warm during the meal.



   An embodiment of this subject of the invention is described below with reference to the drawing. The drawing shows a meridian section of a complete plate heating device, comprising a dinner plate 1 of a conventional type and a service tray 2 made of metal, which is made so that a round recess is stamped in its center in an elevated position from the table support to accommodate the heated heat accumulator 3 fits exactly into the recess of the plate base ring.

 

   The heat body 3 is made of special light metal or a light metal alloy and its diameter is precisely adapted to the plate to be used. At the edge of this round heating element 3, a groove 4 is screwed in on the upper side for gripping the hot heating element with a special handle. Also on the side of the heat body 3 facing the plate there is a recess 5 so that the heat body makes no contact with the dinner plate here, so that the unevenness of the plate does not come into effect.



   On the lower side of the heat body 3 there is a recess 6 so that there is no contact with the panel here. The heating element is preheated in a specially manufactured device, which is not described here and is regulated with a thermostat.

Claims (4)

PATENTANSPRÜCHE 1. Vorrichtung zum Vorwärmen und/oder Warmhalten eines Speisetellers während des Essens, mit einem die Wärme speichernden Wärmekörper, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der aus Leichtmetall oder einer Leichtmetallegierung hergestellte Wärmekörper in einem Serviertableau gehalten wird, das mit Abstand vom Esstisch den Wärmekörper aufnimmt, auf welchen der Speiseteller direkt abgestellt und während des Essens darauf verbleiben kann.  PATENT CLAIMS 1.
