11. luggage trolley according to claim 1-10, characterized in that the bracket is connected to the basket by a wide belt.
Suitcases have been known for a long time in the processing halls of train stations and airports, which are becoming increasingly popular due to the lack of luggage racks.
These luggage trolleys, however, have a loading area that, due to the design, is higher than the height of the castor or castors. This means that when the case is loaded, the high center of gravity of the case reduces its stability to such an extent that its use on escalator paths is impossible or only possible with the risk of a major accident.
This grievance should now be remedied by designing coffekis whose chassis basically consists of three wheels or castors, of which the front roller is designed as a swivel castor, which ensures easier pushing and maneuvering of the loaded pen as compared to the four-wheeled construction of the It is the case that the support grids between the frame and the support grids between the spar tubes are foldable, that is to say they are movably mounted, which enables the stored luggage trolleys to move into one another. This design also lowered the center of gravity of the loaded device in the desired manner.
The disadvantage of this construction, however, lies in the design of the support and support grids that are movably mounted between the frame and the spar tubes. With the large number of moving parts, the production costs are relatively high and the susceptibility to repairs is not low. In addition, the ongoing maintenance and repair costs are higher than for devices that have fewer moving parts.
In addition, the use of these devices creates a hardly avoidable rattling, which is particularly disruptive in lounges and check-in rooms.
The object of the invention was now to create a luggage trolley that eliminates the disadvantages of the previously known luggage trolleys and that ensures risk-free use on all transport routes, including escalators.
This object was achieved by the measures specified in the characterizing part of patent claim 1.
An embodiment of the suitcase is described below and shown in the drawings
1 shows the luggage trolley according to the invention for escalators in an unloaded state. The swivel castor (1) is attached in the foremost part between the frame (2), which tapers in a wedge shape towards the front, i.e. in the direction of travel, on a bracket (la) that projects above the frame height in such a way that the center of gravity of the case is below the swivel castor bearing.
This construction ensures stability in all transport situations, even on escalators, as it was always desired, but could not be achieved so far.
In addition, there are serrated profile strips (3) made of elastic material, such as rubber, on the underside of the frame (2), which stick to the front edges of the stairs when the cooler is used on escalators and thus make it impossible for the cooler to slide off.
So-called bumpers (4) are attached to the rear end of the frame (2), which increase stability and prevent the loaded device from tipping over when the stairs roll up.
Instead of the previously known, too high and movable support grids, these have been replaced by round bars (5) welded to the frame.
Instead of the movably mounted grille between the uprights (6), a fixed plate (7) made of impact and scratch-resistant plastic was attached, which ensures that the luggage is placed on the uprights. This sign has the advantage over the previously known investment grids that it can also be used on both sides as advertising and advertising space.
The front luggage system (8) is pivotally connected to the frame (2), so that it can fold back automatically when a number of suitcases are parked, as is clearly illustrated in the drawing in FIG. 2.
The plastic sliding surfaces (8b) attached to the front, lower part of the luggage system (8) have the task of enabling the luggage system (8) to be folded back more easily and noiselessly when the luggage trolleys are parked.
At the upper end of the front luggage system, a belt (8a) coming from the storage basket (11) is attached, which has the task of protecting the luggage system from overloading and preventing an excessive luggage or luggage structure.
In addition, its coarse fabric prevents coats or blankets from sliding down, as would be the case, for example, with a possible design using a metal rod.
In order to prevent the steering roller (1) from jamming when moving into one another, guides (9) are provided on their sides with a plastic sliding surface, which slide when entering another suitcase trolley along its round bar (5), which serves as a support, and are thus controlled by it that the swivel castor (1) can only be moved forwards or backwards without being able to turn.
When driving into each other, it is important and noteworthy that the front luggage trolley is lifted by the folded-down luggage system with the rear wheels, which thereby lose their braking effect.
Furthermore, the suitcase trolley according to the invention is provided with a braking device which is designed as a locking brake and can only be released by actuating the handle lever (10), both forwards and backwards.
In addition, there is a smaller storage basket (11) between the bars (6) and above the contact plate (7), which is designed to hold bags or smaller hand luggage.
In order to prevent any tipping when transporting downwards on escalators and the coolie reappears on the floor, small auxiliary rollers (12) are attached in the front part, on the right and left in the extension of the frame, which enable straight descent from the escalator even when the luggage trolley is opened at an angle .
In Fig. 3, a luggage trolley according to the invention is shown in the loaded state.
