**WARNUNG** Ende DESC Feld konnte Anfang CLMS uberlappen**.
There are various methods for producing molded bodies are known in which a more or less liquid mass is assumed in which before the
Hardening develops a propellant gas, which makes the molded body porous and accordingly lighter.
For example, aerated concrete blocks are produced by pouring a mixture of washed and dried sand, cement and lime additives and a blowing agent such as aluminum powder into a large mold with a capacity of approx. 12 m3 after adding water. After the filling process, a propellant gas develops in the mass as a result of a chemical reaction. This causes the entire mass to expand and in this way causes the desired pore formation. The formed block can be stripped after reaching the stripping strength. This strength is reached after about 40 minutes. After that, the blocks are separated into building blocks of the desired dimensions and further treated in a high-tension steam atmosphere.
Of course, a cutting station for cutting the shaped bricks requires a large investment. The time required for the cutting process, the need to maintain the cutting tools and the accumulation of waste material are also disadvantageous. Shaping by a cutting operation is basically only possible with very simply shaped shaped stones and is therefore essentially only possible for prismatic bodies. Finally, there is a very troublesome disadvantage with this known method due to the great weight of the mass poured into the large mold. In fact, it has been found that the structure of a block produced in this way varies over the height of the block, namely the size of the pores in the upper part of the block is approximately twice that in the lower part of the block.
Inevitably, the stones cut from such a block unit have different properties among themselves. A reasonably economical production is only possible with such a plant with very high production numbers and careful recycling of the waste material.
In the case of another known method, a plurality of open-topped molds are successively or simultaneously filled to a certain height with a mass containing sand, cement, aggregates, water and a blowing agent. After the stripping of the bound aerated or aerated concrete blocks cast in this way, the upper sides of the same must be processed by cutting and / or grinding. This operation causes relatively high costs. In addition, there are significant amounts of waste material that has to be reprocessed for reuse. Also to be mentioned are the heavy soiling of the workplace, which can be traced back to the finishing of the stones, and the often insufficient dimensional accuracy of the artificial stones. Here, too, it is not in the hand to manufacture stones of any shape.
The invention, which relates to a method for the production of molded bodies by expansion of a settable, liquid or pasty mass developing a propellant gas in a mold, in particular for the simultaneous production of several molded blocks by pouring aerated concrete into a multiple mold, is based on the object of the above To eliminate evils. For this purpose, according to the method according to the invention, after a predetermined amount of the expandable and settable compound has been introduced, the mold is closed on all sides in such a way that gas can escape during the expansion and setting process and pressure is created in the compound under the action of the propellant gas.
The mold is advantageously closed in such a way that the gases which develop can escape on the upper side of the multi-part mold, while the expanded, but not yet set, material is made difficult or impossible to escape.
Thanks to the fact that the mold is closed on all sides, while at the same time allowing the propellant gases released to flow out, the effects are surprising. As a result of the internal pressure arising in the already expanded but not yet or only partially set mass, this more or less viscous mass is forced to fill even the finest cavities in the mold. As a result, the moldings are extremely dimensionally stable, even with complex shapes of the finished product.
Furthermore, a uniform, fine pore structure can be achieved with a strength that has been determined in advance.
From an economic point of view, it is particularly significant that there is very little or no waste and that the moldings require at most an insignificant post-processing. If you make sure that no substance can escape from the mold during the expansion and setting process, i.e. you use valves or filters to allow the gases to escape, the problem of waste recycling and the need to rework the bodies shaped in this way are eliminated .
The manufacturing plant accordingly requires small investments.
The invention also comprises a device for carrying out the new method. This device is characterized by a multi-part, lockable on all sides form consisting of a lower part and a complementary, removable upper part which is equipped with passages for gas to escape during the expansion and setting process.
The gas-permeable passages, which make it difficult or even impossible for the molding compound to escape, can consist of channels, capillaries or the like made in the upper part of the mold. They can also be designed as disposable tubes made of plastic, cardboard, etc., inserted into openings in this upper part, or as valves, special filters or the like.
In the following it is explained with reference to the drawing how the method according to the invention can be carried out, for example.
The drawing shows:
1 shows an artificial stone manufactured by the method for building purposes, the underside of the stone provided with a groove being directed upwards in order to increase clarity,
FIG. 2 shows a longitudinal section along section line 2-2 of FIG. 3 through a device for filling multiple mold lower parts with aerated concrete,
3 shows a section through the filling device along the line 3-3 indicated in FIG.
4 shows a plan view of the device according to FIGS. 2 and 3, the cover of the device being omitted,
5 shows a perspective sectional view of an opened multiple mold comprising several individual molds and consisting of a lower part and an upper part for the production of aerated concrete blocks according to FIG. 1,
6 shows a section corresponding to FIG. 5 through a closed multiple mold,
Fig.
7 a vertical section through the closed multiple mold during the setting phase,
8 shows a corresponding vertical section through the mold during the demoulding of the stones,
9 shows a further vertical section through the mold in a different demolding stage.
The artificial stone illustrated in Fig. 1, generally designated 1, has the general shape of a prism. The front and back are flat. A longitudinal groove 2 which is attached on the side which is normally directed downwards corresponds to a tongue 3 on the top. A tongue 5 is aligned with a further groove 4 of a side part.
The stone 1 is made of aerated concrete by the method described below and with the device explained and has a low density of, for. B. 600 kg / m3. It is particularly suitable as a building block, especially formwork block, for the production of house walls, etc.
The system shown schematically in FIGS. 2 to 4 is used for the exact filling to the brim of a multiple lower mold part, generally designated 30, ie. H. a lower molded part composed of a number of individual molded parts. This multiple molded part 30, which is open at the top, consists essentially of a frame which divides the available area into uniform fields, the individual parts of which represent the side walls 31 and 32 of the individual molded parts. Each individual molded part is closed on the lower side by a bottom 33 that is vertically movable with respect to the side walls.
The unit 30 of side walls 31 or 32 and bases 33 lies in the area of the filling station on chains 6 which are deflected via two deflection rollers 7 and 8 and guided via rollers 9, which are continuously driven in a manner not shown.
The stationary apparatus for mixing and pouring the expandable mass is located directly above the conveyor chain 6. This apparatus essentially has a mixing vessel 10 with a motor-driven shaft 11, which is mounted in the center and carries mixing blades 12, a filling funnel 13, an opening 15 which connects the synchronous mixer to this filling funnel and can be closed by a pivotable slide, a closure member 16, an outlet Carrying agitator 17 with rotating blades 18 and a filling nozzle 20 which can be closed with the aid of a pneumatically driven slide 19. The funnel 13 narrows downwards in one direction and widens in the direction perpendicular thereto.
In the interior of the slot nozzle 20, cover members 21 which taper upwards are fixedly arranged at regular intervals. These have the task of preventing the still liquid mass from being applied to the end faces of the longitudinal side walls of the molds to be filled. On two pillars 23 anchored in the ground or the supports 24 welded to them, on the one hand a Teflon-coated scraper 25 for removing excess material and on the other hand a rotating cleaning brush for cleaning the end faces of the multiple mold lower part 30.
In the example discussed, the form - as already mentioned - is designed as a multiple form in such a way that several aerated concrete blocks of the type shown in FIG. 1 can be poured and shaped at the same time. In particular from FIG. 4 it can be seen that 32 synthetic building blocks can be produced in one work cycle with a mold. For the sake of simplification, however, only two units of the overall shape can be seen in FIGS. 5 to 9.
Both the lower mold part 30 and the upper mold part 40 are composed of longitudinal and transverse side walls 31 and 32 or 41 and 42 and also of stamp-like horizontal wall parts 33 and 43, respectively. The mold wall parts 32, 33 and 42, which can be seen in particular in FIGS. 5 and 6, are not flat on the inside of the mold, but are equipped with prismatic ribs 34, 35 and 44, the cross-section of which is trapezoidal. These ribs are complementary to correspondingly shaped and running channels in the opposite side wall parts (not visible) and a corresponding channel 45 in the upper end wall 43. At the bottom of the channel 45 is a filter 46 connecting the interior of the mold to the free air made of sintered bronze.
This micropore filter has the property of being permeable to gases but not to the liquid or pasty molding compound. In addition, the cement-containing aerated or aerated concrete does not bond with it, so that no particular cleaning problems arise.
To manufacture a batch of 32 formwork modules (or a multiple thereof) made of aerated concrete, an amount of aerated concrete mix is prepared in the mixer that is matched to the size of the stones. For a cubic meter of the end product with a density of 600 kg, for example, 183 kg of cement, 264 kg of sand of the grain fractions smaller than 2 mm, 1.5 kg of aluminum powder, 142.5 kg of water and 9 kg of a fast-reacting binder, such as . B. water-free silicate or the like. The water temperature, which can be between 40 and 50 C depending on the circumstances and needs, has a significant influence on the setting time.
The entire batch is properly mixed by means of the mixing arms 12, whereupon it flows into the funnel 13 after opening the slide 15 and then into the discharge agitator 17, which continues to stir the mixture. As soon as the first transverse wall of the lower part 30 of the multiple form, which is now in a linear movement (arrow direction A), has passed under the filling slot nozzle 20, the slide 19 is opened. The liquid concrete thus fills the cavities of the molded part 3. With each passage through a transverse wall, the nozzle 20 is briefly closed with the aid of the slide 19. Thanks to the conical or pyramid-like organs 21 (FIG. 3), the end faces of the longitudinal side walls 31 are not occupied. Any excess material is transferred by the scraper 25 to the next row of molds.
The rotating cleaning brush finally cleans the side wall fronts of any remaining material residues. After running through one or more multiple molds, the previously agreed batch is practically completely used up. The material still emerging from the nozzle 20 and the material that has already been scraped off is returned to the task. The dosage carried out in the manner described is extremely precise. This fact is important for the production of building blocks with constant weight, same strength and identical structure.
The lower mold part filled in this way is now moved via a driven roller conveyor into the mold closure device, where the complementary upper mold part 40 is placed with the aid of the centering bores 37 and the centering bolts 47 and is then locked to the lower mold part 30. The closed multiple mold then runs into the demoulding station.
About 2 to 3 minutes after pouring the liquid concrete, a chemical reaction starts in the mixture, during which gas is released, which completely penetrates the concrete mass and causes it to swell. The excess propellant gases can flow in the highest part of the mold through the filter 46 into the open. There is therefore no fear of the formation of gas pockets which impede the expansion of the mass. In contrast, the concrete mass cannot penetrate the filter 46 (FIG. 7). With the correct choice of the ratio of the total mold volume to the volume of the lower part of the mold and a suitable composition of the mass to be molded, you can achieve that an internal pressure is formed in the expanded and setting mass as a result of the energy released, which forces the viscous mass, even the finest Fill cavities in the mold.
Accordingly, this is a dynamic counter pressure process without the use of a special press. A body produced in this way has very low dimensional tolerances, has a homogeneous structure and does not require any post-processing.
The expansion phase and the setting of the mass 50 take about 6 minutes. Now the not yet hardened, but already solidified shaped block 51 can be demoulded (FIGS. 8 and 9). For this purpose, the upper side walls 41 and 42 are first pulled up with the aid of a pneumatically or hydraulically actuated device engaging the holding members 49, while the upper closing parts 43 still remain on the shaped body 51 (FIG. 8). After this process, all molded parts 43 are lifted together by organs attached to holders 48. In a further phase, the stone blanks 51 are raised into the position illustrated in FIG. 9 by means of the mold bases 33, which are actuated by the ram 38 and act as a punch.
The stone blanks 51 can be pushed from the base surface now formed by means of a pusher or the like onto a pallet, which is then transported into a curing chamber, where the final curing can take place within about 90 minutes under predetermined climatic conditions.
