Abstract
Flush damper in the form of a top open water tank where the damper can turn about a horizontal axis to produce a water surge. There is an overflow edge on one side and the rotation can result only in a given range at around 90 deg. More specifically, the horizontal axis of rotation lies between the overflow edge (5) and the centre of gravity of the empty damper (5). It is also approximately vertically below the centre of gravity (6) of the damper which is filled to a given water level (2). Further, there is an additional weight (3) below the axis of rotation. In the upper region of the damper is a horizontal plate. This plate is so arranged that the turning force for tipping is increased.
Description
**WARNUNG** Ende DESC Feld konnte Anfang CLMS uberlappen**.
The invention relates to a flushing dump which is designed as a water container open at the top and can be rotated about a horizontal axis to generate a surge of water.
There are two-part tilts which alternately fall over in two directions. These are z. B. used for the intermittent charging of trickling filters. Deposits on the bottom of rain basins are usually sprayed off with pressurized water, washed away with sewage, or transported to the centrally arranged drain by water rotation.
The mentioned options for removing deposits are either too labor-intensive, costly, or not applicable under unfavorable local conditions.
The purpose of the invention is to generate a strong surge of water, with which deposits are washed away on a mostly flat basin floor.
The flushing dump according to the invention is a water container that is open at the top and provided with an overflow edge on one side, which can be rotated by approximately 900 about a horizontal axis in order to generate a surge of water.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained below with reference to drawings.
In Fig. 1 the cross section and in Fig. 2 the plan view is shown.
The cradle is a water tank that is open at the top and can be rotated in two bearing blocks 7 around the horizontal axis 1 by approx. 90o. The upper and lower position of the cradle is fixed with stops 8. When the dump is empty, the overflow edge 5 is in the upper position and rotates around the horizontal axis 1 into the lower position 6 when it is tipped over.
The position of the horizontal axis of rotation 1 is to be determined precisely, this lies between the overflow edge 5 and the center of gravity of the empty dump 9 and approximately perpendicular below the center of gravity of the dump 10 filled up to the water level 2. When the dump is filled, the center of gravity shifts from point 9 to point 10, when tipping over and at the same time emptying then back to point 9.
Due to the additional weight 3, the distance of the heavy weight of the empty dump 9 from the axis 1 is increased and thereby also the force that turns the empty dump back. The plate 4, the horizontal part of which is approximately at the height of the water level 2, increases when the water level rises above the level of the water level 2, the rotational force that is available to overcome the friction losses in the bearing blocks 7 for overturning.
PATENT CLAIM
Flushing dump, designed as a water tank open at the top and arranged to be rotatable around a horizontal axis to generate a surge of water, characterized in that an overflow edge is arranged on one side and the rotary movement can only take place in a certain range of approximately 90o.
SUBCLAIMS
1. Flushing dump according to claim, characterized in that the horizontal axis of rotation between the overflow edge (5) and the center of gravity of the empty dump (9) and approximately perpendicular below the center of gravity (10) of the dump filled up to a certain water level (2).
2. Flushing dump according to claim and dependent claim 1, characterized in that an additional weight (3) is arranged below the axis of rotation.
3. Flushing dump according to claim and dependent claim 1, characterized in that a horizontal plate is arranged in the upper region of the dump in such a way that the rotational force available for tilting is thereby increased.
