The subject of the invention is a camping body for cars with a loading bridge, which differs from the known caravans, camping busses and caravans with fold-out living space extension parts in that the sleeping part is a part of the body built in front of the living part and above the driver's cab of the vehicle with an extension part that can be folded out to the front is designed, and that the living part with extensions that can be folded out on both sides is provided with a standing frame which is supported on the vehicle loading bridge and has height-adjustable supports which can be removed to relieve the latter and release the vehicle for its separate use.

Fig.
33 seen the living area from the underside and
34 is a top view of the vehicle bridge.
As FIGS. 1 and 2 show, a living part 3 is placed on a bridge vehicle 1, on the loading bridge 2 thereof, and is releasably connected to the loading bridge by connecting elements (not shown). A forwardly projecting sleeping part 4 rests on the driver's cab 5 of the bridge vehicle and is arranged in a height-adjustable manner by means of guide rails 7 on the living part 3. It contains a cylinder segment-shaped living part extension 6 which can be folded out towards the front according to FIG. 3.
After the living part extensions 8, 9 have been folded out on one or both sides, a stand can be attached to relieve the loading bridge 2 of the bridge vehicle 1 and to support the floor parts of the living part extensions 8, 9, as shown in FIGS. 3, 6, 7, 8 can be seen. As FIG. 4 shows, the standing frame has eight length-adjustable supports 10 and, between these, diagonal struts 11 engaging the latter. A known Nuremberg scissors-like foot 12 'with footplate 12 and adjusting spindle 13 allows the length of the support 10 to be adjusted. The upper end of the support 10 carries a flange 14 with winged screws 15 for attaching the support 10 to the bottom part of the unfolded living part extensions 8, 9.
The diagonal struts 11 can be fixed with their flange-like and perforated ends (not shown) by means of wing screws on the bores 16 of the supports 10. The exit of the bridge vehicle can be carried out smoothly in that, after the fastening elements connecting the living part 3 to the loading bridge 2 have been removed, the supports 10 lying next to the vehicle are lengthened by tightening their spindles 13 and the central part of the living area is raised so that the loading bridge is relieved. After the vehicle 1 has been extended, the floor parts of the living part 3 and its extensions 8, 9 can be brought to the desired level by adjusting the spindles 13 of the supports 10.
The living part extensions 8, 9 are formed by elements 18 to 22 that can be folded out or laid out. On the upper longitudinal edges of the living part 3, the roof parts 18 (Fig. 11 and 12) are hinged to flexible connections 18 'hinged openable, while on the vertical edges of the living part 3 U-profiles 17 (Fig. 11-15) are arranged. At the lower ends of the U-profiles 17 the bottom part 19 of the living part extension is hinged in a horizontal position so that it can be folded out, Fig. 13. On the upper longitudinal edges 23 of the living part ceiling 24, further on the outer edges of the vertical U-profiles 17 and on the side and outer edges of the floor parts 19, a flexible tent shell 20 is attached, which can be folded up into a flat shape when the floor parts 19 are unfolded.
At the upper ends of the U-profiles 17, a U-shaped frame 21 formed from U-profiles is hinged around pivot pins 25, the legs 21 'of which are sunk into the U-profiles 17 in the folded-in position of the frame 21.
By unfolding the U-shaped frame 21, the tent 20 is laid out in a streamlined shape that delimits the desired space. At the outer end of the U-shaped frame 21, supports 22 are hinged on both sides, which when not in use are sunk in the groove of the frame legs 21 'and can be folded out around the axle bolts 26 when in use to secure the clamping frame 21 in a horizontal position. The fig.
14 and 15 show the tent in an extended and tightened position, respectively.
The overhanging over the roof of the driver's cab 5 sleeping part 4 is, as can be seen in Fig. 1 and 9 and in Fig. 28 and 29, arranged at the front vertical edges of the living part 3 by means of tongue and groove guides 7 adjustable in height, namely grab oppositely directed guide springs 27 'of the front vertical edges of the living part 3 into vertical guide grooves 27 ″ of the adjoining vertical side edges of the sleeping part 4, which are open to the outside. The extension part 6, which can be folded out to the front, is around the journal 28 of the
Sleeping part 4 can be folded out from the folded position according to FIG. 28 into the space expansion position according to FIG.
The one leg 6 'of the cylinder segment 6 form one
Sealing frame, which in the folded-out position of the extension part 6 forms a tight seal with a front frame 4 'of the sleeping part 4. The other leg 6 ″ of the cylinder segment 6 forms, in the folded position of the latter, a closing wall that fits snugly against the frame part 4 '. 29 denotes the windows of the living part 3 and its extension parts 6, 8, 9, while 30 denotes the door on the The living part 3 can be lived in together with the sleeping part 4 even when the living part extensions are folded flat and folded into the non-use position.
Depending on requirements, both living area extensions or just one of them can be folded out.
The vehicle 1 with the living part 3 and the sleeping part 4 is parked on a floor that is as horizontal as possible. After loosening the fastening members which connect the living part 3 to the loading bridge 2, the roof parts 18 are opened up and temporarily fastened according to FIGS. 11 and 12.
Then the base parts 19 are folded out downwards (FIG. 13). The tent 20, which is glued to the edges 23 (FIG. 27), is now initially in the half-open position. In order to make the base parts 19 load-bearing, the stand frame, which is formed from the parts 10, 11 (FIG. 4), is attached. First, the safety supports 10 are attached to the base parts 19 of the extensions 8, 9 by means of the wing screws 15 provided on the support flange 14 and, on uneven terrain, the floors 19 of the extensions 8, 9 are brought to the desired level by adjusting the clamping screws 13. During the transport, the standing frame is kept in a disassembled state in the space 31, 32 (FIGS. 30-33) between the living part 3 and the loading bridge.
After the floor parts 19 have been secured, the tents 20 of the intended extension can now be pushed outwards from the interior of the living part 3 through connecting doors and expanded accordingly. The clamping frames 21 (FIGS. 14 and 27) are then folded out upwards and the supports 22 (FIG. 15) are pivoted downwards to secure them. The supports 22 abut with their free ends against the bottom part 19 and secure the clamping frame 21 in a horizontal position.
This means that the tent is stretched out tight and the living area extension 8 or 9 can be set up and habitable.
The easy extension and retraction of the bridge vehicle 1 is achieved by a rail and roller guide device which is provided between the loading bridge 2 and the floor part of the living part 3. This guide device has on each of the two longitudinal edges of the loading bridge 2 a U-profile rail 33 screwed onto the latter, the channel of which faces one another. Furthermore, two closely spaced guide rollers 34 are arranged at the rear end of the loading bridge 2. On the bottom of the living part 3, guide rollers 35 are arranged on both sides at its front end, which are intended to engage the lateral guide rails 33 when the bridge vehicle 1 is retracted and extended and thereby determine the distance between the loading bridge 2 and the living part floor. Furthermore, the bottom 2 of the living part 3 has a pair of longitudinal guide rails 36 on its underside in the central position.
The two rails 36 are made of angle iron and are fastened with their one leg on the floor of the living part 3 in such a way that their other legs are directed towards one another. This pair of longitudinal guide rails 36 serves to guide the loading bridge in the central position by the pair of rollers 34 which, according to FIG. 32, engage in the hollow sides of the pair of rails 36. To enable the pair of rollers 34 of the loading bridge 2 to be safely inserted into the pair of longitudinal guide rails 36 of the living part 3, the end parts 36 'thereof extend towards the front end of the living part 3 to diverge.
The living part 3 can also be lived in when the elements 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 are folded flat and folded in, while the sleeping part 4 is used at the same time.
17 to 26 illustrate a second embodiment of the living part 3, in which the living part extensions are formed on one or both sides by a fold-out roof part 37 and a fold-out package 38 of individually fold-out floor, wall and roof parts, which have flexible, waterproof connecting straps as hinges. After the roof part 37 (FIGS. 17 and 18) hinged to the longitudinal edge of the roof by means of a flexible hinge connection 18 'has been folded out, the package 38 can be folded out by means of the base part 39 according to FIG. 19 hinged to the longitudinal edge of the living part floor. The outer wall 40, which is hinged to the base part 39, is then folded out into the vertical position according to FIGS. 20 and 21. The roof part 41 is hinged to the upper horizontal edge of the outer wall 40.
This is now unfolded into its position resting on the underside of the roof part 37, as shown in FIGS. 22 and 23. The rear wall 42, which is hinged to the bottom part 39, and finally the front wall 43, which is also hinged to the first, is then opened into a vertical position.
The camping structure described is suitable for purposes of all kinds, where it is desirable, the living or. To enlarge or collapse the lounge.
