The invention relates to a tow lift system for skiers, for self-service, with a hoisting rope and at least one tow bar with a cross bar provided for contact with the skier, the tow bar being attached to a tow rope that can be wound up in a retraction device.
Cable towing systems of this type are known. The towing device can consist of a T- or L-shaped bracket made of wood, metal, pipe or plastic or also of a so-called disk-shaped seat plate. The towing device of the towing device holds the towing devices at a relatively high height, so that an operator must always be present at the take-off point of the towing lift who grabs the towing device brought over the heads of the skiers by the hoisting rope and pulls them out against the holding force of the retracting device and the waiting Enough for skiers.
In order to be able to do without this operator, who has to perform a relatively heavy and monotonous job, various proposals have already been made; so e.g. automatic ironing machines, which by means of grippers or the like.
Mechanize the operator's previously manual movements, pulling out the towing device and handing it to the waiting skier. However, these facilities are relatively complex.
To eliminate these disadvantages, a solution is now proposed according to the invention, which is characterized by the combination of the following features that the cross bar of the tow bar is arranged so that it is at least in the area of the skier's take-off point approximately at the height of the buttocks and when the tow bar is touched with the skier, the tow rope of the tow bar is completely wound up on the rope drum of the pulling device.
In known tow hangers, the tow bar is not rigidly attached to the hoisting rope, but via a tow hanger equipped with a pull-out device, the pull-in device taking up a tow rope that is wound on a cable drum in the unloaded state and which has a length of approx. 7 to 10 m. With the proposal according to the invention, the skiers can now grab the arriving tow bar themselves, with the pull-in device continuing with the hoisting rope, and only after the braking of the tow bar has started, the tow rope is pulled out and the tow bar is then taken along with the skier.
An improvement of this proposal results e.g.
in that the passage of the tow bar at the skier's take-off point is delayed compared to the speed of the hoisting rope, for example the tow bar is briefly slowed down or even held at the take-off point.
The invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the drawing, without thereby restricting it to the exemplary embodiments shown. Show it:
Fig. 1 the launch site of a drag lift system in side view;
2 shows an embodiment in which a device for delaying or holding the towing device is present at the launch site;
3 shows the passage of the towing suspension at the launch site with the towing device held;
Fig. 4 Skiers at the starting point according to Fig. 2 in side view and in
5 in a view from the rear;
Fig. 6 shows a guide consisting of two rails in plan view and
7 shows a single-rail guide also in plan view.
Fig. 1 shows a side view of the launch site of a drag lift system, where two skiers have lined up. Several towing hangers 4, of which only one is shown, are clamped onto the hoisting rope 2, which is guided over the deflection and drive pulley 1 and whose direction is indicated by the arrow 3. These towing hangers 4 have a retraction device 5 of known construction, with a cable drum, a return spring, a braking device, the towing cable of a length of approx. 7 to 10 m on the cable drum, on which the actual towing device 6, here in the form of a T-bracket. It is now essential for the invention that the part of the towing device intended to rest on the skier 7 during the towing process, here the transverse spar 8, is guided in the area of the take-off point at buttock level h of the skier 7.
This buttocks height is approximately 60 to 80 cm above level 9. The skier 7 waiting at the starting point can now grasp the arriving towing device 6 without outside help. hold and bring into the position calculated for him, although the towing hanger 4 continues with the pull-in device and the hoisting rope, because the towing device and thus the skier (s) are taken along only after the braking device of the towing hanger has been inserted.
An improvement of the prescribed device is now shown in FIG. 2, which differs from the figure first described in that a device 10 is provided.
which brakes the towing device 6 when the towing suspension 4 passes through with respect to the hoisting rope 2 or holds it at all for a brief moment. As shown in FIG. 3, where the towing hanger 4 with the hoisting rope 2 has already run in front of the launch site, so that the towing rope 11 has been pulled out of the pull-in device 5. The device 10 is located in such a way that it is arranged above the head height of the skier.
FIGS. 4 and 5 show an enlarged representation of the launch site in a view and in a view from the rear. It can also be seen from this that the transverse spar 8, which is used to rest on the skiers 7 during the towing process, is considerably smaller than the longitudinal spar of the towing device 6, so that when the towing device 6 is almost vertical when entering the take-off area (Fig. 4 and 5) and when the transverse spar 8 is in a high position, the upper end of the longitudinal spar is above the head height of the skier, where the guide element 10 is also provided.
The device 10 can now have a configuration such as that shown, for example, in FIG. 6 in plan view.
The arrow 3 indicates the direction of travel of the hoisting rope, not shown. This device for decelerating or completely braking the towing device 6 consists of two rails 12 which are mounted in such a way that their mutual distance a can be changed. In the area of the inlet 13, the rails 12 are widened like a fork in order to then narrow. A pair of springs 14 presses the rails 12 against one another in the run-out area, and in this run-out area a lining 15 which increases the braking effect can also be arranged on the mutually facing sides of the rails. The towing device 6 runs into the pair of rails 12 at the speed at which the hoisting rope moves and is now braked or held in place here until the force of the springs 14 or
the friction lining 15 given holding force is overcome by the train of the continuing hanger 4. The towing device 6 is then pulled out of the guide.
During this time, i.e. So from the entry of the towing device 6 to its release from the guide, the skiers have time to bring the spar, which is within easy reach at buttocks level, into its conveying position. In the embodiment described, the towing device 6 is held or braked only by mechanical forces. However, it is also possible to brake or brake the towing device 6, for example by means of the mechanism controlled by the rotating hangers, using electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic aids.
to be held so that the restraint or braking of the towing device is not force-dependent but rather position-dependent. Combinations of these possibilities are also conceivable and feasible.
Another embodiment of the device 10 is now shown in FIG. 7, likewise in plan view. This consists of a simple guide rail 16 which extends parallel to the direction of the conveyor rope 2, a spring-loaded pawl 17 being provided in the run-out area of the rail 16. The leading edge 18 of the pawl 17 forms an acute angle with the rail 16. The towing device 6, guided by the rail 16, runs up against this edge 18 and is held back against the leading hanger 4 until the tensile force of the towing rope 11 has overcome the holding force of the spring 19 of the pawl 17. If this moment occurs, the pawl 17 is pivoted out in the direction of the arrow 20 and thus releases the towing device 6.
A spring-loaded pawl of this type can also be connected to a double guide according to FIG. The pawl 17 thus forms a type of bolt which, in the present case, is actuated as a function of the force. Electric, hydraulic, pneumatic or similar controls can also be used with such a pawl or bolt of this type, these controls being able to be actuated as a function of position or force, as has been explained in connection with FIG.
In the design of the launch site of the drag lift system according to FIGS. 2 and 3, the retracted tow bar in the guide 10 is once guided against sideways swinging and on the other hand held back briefly, but the retraction device continues with the hoisting rope and the tow rope is pulled out. Only after the braking device of the retraction device begins to act is the towing device pulled out of the guide and the starting process for the skier begins. A delay of the tow bar is thus achieved or even a complete standstill of the towing device. During this short period of time, the skiers have the opportunity to grasp the towing device that is ready to hand and to bring it into the correct starting and conveying position.
If the invention has been described above on the basis of the drag lift with tow bars, it should also be noted that the invention can also be used to advantage in a drag lift that is equipped with so-called drag plates.
