PA).

; -Halogen-ß-hydroxypropyl) -amino groups, B-halo ethylsulfamyl groups, ß-haloethoxy groups, ß-haloethyl mercapto groups, 2-chlorobenzthiazolyl-6-azo groups, 2-chlorobenzothiazolyl-6-amino groups, γ-halo-ss -hydroxypropylsulfamyl radicals, chloroacetylamino groups, α, β-dibromopropionyl groups, vinylsulfonyl groups and 2,3-epoxypropyl groups.
Suitable fiber-reactive diazo components are, for. B.
N, ss-chloroethyl-3-chloro-4-amino-benzenesulphamide (hydrochloride), N, ss-chloroethyl4-aminobenzene-sulphamide (hydrochloride), 3-bromo-4-amino-o-chloroacetophenone, N, y-chloro-P-hydroxypro- pyl4-aminobenzenesulfamide, N, ß-chloroethyl-1-amino4-naphthylsulfonamide, N, ß-chloroethyl-1-amino-3,5-dichloro-benzenesulfamide and 4- (γ-chloro-B-hydroxypropoxy )-aniline,
The diazotization of the diazo components mentioned can correspond to the position of the amino group in question, e.g. B. with the help of mineral acid and sodium nitrite or z. B. with a solution of nitrosylsulfuric acid in concentrated sulfuric acid.
The coupling can also be carried out in a manner known per se, e.g. B. in a neutral to acidic medium, optionally in the presence of sodium acetate or similar, the coupling rate influencing buffer substances or catalysts, such as. B. dimethylformamide, pyridine, or their salts, respectively, are made.
The new dyes are usually insoluble in water.
The coupling components are obtained by adding an amine of the formula
EMI3.1
with an acid halide of the formula A-halogen or another acylating derivative of carboxylic acid, a carbonic acid monoester or an isocyanate.
Carboxylic acid halides of the formula A-halogen which are suitable as starting materials are aliphatic acid chlorides, such as acetyl chloride, chloroacetyl chloride, propionyl chloride, n-butyryl chloride, crotonic acid chloride, 4-chlorobutyryl chloride, araliphatic carboxylic acid halides, such as phenylacetyl chloride, or p-nitrophenylacetyl chloride, aromatic carboxylic acid chloride, or p-nitrophenylacetyl chloride, and p-methyl and ethyl benzoyl chloride, o; m- and p-methoxy- and ethoxybenzoyl chloride, 3,4-dinitrobenzoyl chloride, 2,4- or 3,4-dichlxorbenzoyl chloride, p-phenylazobenzoyl chloride, heterocyclic carboxylic acid halides, such as furan-2-carboxylic acid chloride, 2-thenoyl chloride, 2 -Thienylacetyl chloride and nicotinic acid chloride.
Sulphonic acid halides suitable as starting materials are benzenesulphonic acid chloride, o- and p-toluenesulphonic acid chloride, 2,4-, 2,5- or 3,5-dimethyl-benzenesulphonic acid chloride, 3,4,5- or 2,4,6-trimethyl-benzenesulphonic acid chloride, p-nitrobenzenesulphonic acid chloride , 2-methyl-5-chloro-, 5-methyl-thiophene-2-sulfonic acid chloride, methanesulfonic acid chloride, butanesulfonic acid chloride, β-ethoxyethanesulfonic acid chloride and benzylsulfonic acid chloride.
As carbonic acid derivatives eligible for the acylation example, the compounds of the formulas in question: CICOSC2H5 ClCOOC2Hs ClCONHC2Hs CICOSCH2CH2CI ClCOOCH2CH2Cl CICONHCH2CH2CI ClCOSCH2CH2OCH3 ClCOOCH2CH2OCH3 CICONHCH2CH20CH3 ClCOSC6Hs ClCOOC6H5 ClCONHC6Hs C1COSC6H40CH3 ClCOOC6H4OCH3 ClCONHC6HsOCH3 ClCOSC6H4Cl ClCOOC6H4Cl CICONHC6H4CI ClCOSC6H4NO2 ClCOOC6H4NO2 ClCONHC6H4NO2
Instead of the chlorocarbonic acid amides, isocyanates can also be used, such as. B.
Methyl isocyanate, n-propyl isocyanate, n-butyl isocyanate, octyl isocyanate, butyl isocyanatoacetate, phenyl isocyanate, p-tolyl, o-, m- or p-tolyl isocyanate, 2,5-dichlorophenyl isocyanate, 2-biphenylyl isocyanate, tetrahydrofurfuryl isocyanate, 3-isocyanatopyridine and 2-furyl isocyanate
The new dye preparations are ideal for dyeing and printing leather, wool, silk and, above all, synthetic fibers such as acrylic or acrylonitrile fibers, polyacrylonitrile fibers and copolymers made from acrylonitrile and other vinyl compounds such as acrylic esters, acrylamides and vinyl pyridine.
Vinyl chloride or vinylidene chloride, copolymers of dicyanoethylene and vinyl acetate, as well as acrylonitrile block copolymers, fibers made of polyurethanes, polyolefins such as base-modified, nickel-modified or unmodified polypropylene, cellulose tri- and 21L-acetate and in particular fibers made of polyamides such as nylon-6, nylon -6,6 or nylon 12 and from aromatic polyesters such as those made from terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol or 1,4-dimethylcyclohexane, and copolymers made from terephthalic and isophthalic acid and ethylene glycol.
The dye preparations contain dispersants and finely divided dye in such a form that a fine dispersion is formed when the dye preparations are diluted with water.
To achieve strong dyeings on polyethylene terephthalate fibers, it has been found to be expedient to add a swelling agent to the dyebath, or to carry out the dyeing process under pressure at temperatures above 100 ° C., for example at 120 ° C. Aromatic carboxylic acids, for example salicylic acid, phenols, are suitable as swelling agents. such as o- or p-oxydiphenyl, aromatic halogen compounds such as o-dichlorobenzene or diphenyl.
To heat-set the dye, the padded polyester fabric, expediently after previous drying, for. B. in a warm air stream to temperatures of over 100 "C, for example between 180 to 210" C, heated.
The dyeings obtained according to the present process can be subjected to an aftertreatment, for example by heating with an aqueous solution of an ion-free detergent.
Furthermore, you can z. B. dye in organic solvent liquors, such as a mixture of perchlorethylene and dimethylformamide.
The present process gives strong dyeings and prints with good fastness properties.
In the following examples, unless otherwise stated, parts are parts by weight, percentages are percentages by weight, and temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.
example 1
20.3 parts of 3, B-cyanoethylaminoacetanilide, 56 parts of ethyl chloroacetate and 25 parts of sodium bicarbonate are stirred for 16 hours in an oil bath of 1500, the excess ethyl chloroacetate is driven off by steam distillation, the residue is crystallized from water / alcohol
EMI3.2
1.73 parts of 2-chloro-nitroaniline are diazotized in nitrosylsulfuric acid in the usual way and poured onto ice water.
A solution of 2.9 parts of the coupling components described above in 25 parts by volume of 80% acetic acid is added dropwise to this diazo solution at 0 to 5, the mixture is stirred overnight at 0 to 5 ", the precipitate formed is filtered off with suction and washed neutral with water. After drying, 4.6 parts of the dye of the formula remain
EMI4.1
It dyes polyester materials in brilliant scarlet tones with excellent light and sublimation fastness.
If the coupling components indicated in column II of the table below are coupled with the diazonium compounds of the amines indicated in column I, dyes are obtained which dye polyester fibers in the nuances indicated in column III, if no other substrate is indicated, such as e.g. B. synthetic polyamide (abbreviated:
PA).

4 parts of the dye of the formula
EMI13.1
are heated to 80 "C in 25 parts by volume of dimethylformamide and added dimethyl sulfate at this temperature. The mixture is stirred for some time at the same temperature,
and after cooling, the farm material is precipitated by adding ethyl acetate. After the usual work-up and salting out with sodium chloride, a dye of the formula is obtained
EMI13.2
which colors polyacrylonitrile material in blue tones.
If the diazo components given in column I of the table below are diazotized, coupled to the coupling components given in column II and alkylated as described above, dyes are obtained which dye acrylic fibers in the shades given in column III
