Formulierungen
25 Teile Bolus alba (Kaolin)
3,5 Teile l-benzyl-2-stearyl-benzimidazol-
6,3'-disulfosaures Natrium.
Emulsionskonzentrat
Gut lösliche Wirkstoffe können auch als Emulsionskonzentrat nach folgender Vorschrift formuliert werden:
20 Teile Wirkstoff 10 Teile Xylol

Aphelenchoides, e.g. Aphelenchus ritzemabosi, Aphelenchus fragariae, Aphelenchus oryzae, then Ditylenchoides, e.g. Ditylenchus dipsaci, further Meloidogyne, e.g. B. Meloidogyne arenaria, Meloidogyne incognita, then cyst-forming nematodes (Heterodera); z. B. Heterodera rostochiensis, Heterodera schachtii, then root nematodes such as Paratylenchus, Rotylenchus, Xiphinema, Rhadopholus.
The new compounds of the formula (I) can be used alone or together with at least one of the following additives: carriers, solvents, diluents, dispersants, emulsifiers, thickeners, adhesives, wetting agents and / or fertilizers and possibly other pesticides or attractants.
Pesticides containing generally 0.1 to 95% by weight, preferably 1 to 85% by weight, of the novel compounds of the formula (I) can be present in the most varied of ways in dry or moist, liquid or solid form. Shaped carrier materials, such as fly plates or ribbons, paper strips or granulates, can also be impregnated with the active ingredients. A gas phase of the active ingredients can be generated by sprays.
However, they can also be used in almost pure form without additives by means of appropriately finely distributing spray devices in the area of application.
In the first place, spraying by airplanes comes into question.
For the preparation of directly sprayable solutions of the compounds of formula (1) come, for. B. mineral oil fractions of high to medium boiling range, such as diesel oil or kerosene, coal tar oil and oils of vegetable or animal origin, and hydrocarbons, such as alkylated naphthalenes, tetrahydronaphthalene, possibly using xylene mixtures, cyclohexanols, ketones, and also chlorinated hydrocarbons such as trichloroethane , Trichlorethylene or tri- and tetrachlorobenzenes. Organic solvents with a boiling point above 1000 ° C. are advantageously used.
Aqueous application forms are particularly expediently prepared from emulsion concentrates, pastes or wettable wettable powders by adding water. As emulsifying or dispersing agents, non-ionic products come into consideration, e.g. B. condensation products of aliphatic alcohols, amines or carboxylic acids with a long-chain hydrocarbon radical of about 10 to 20 carbon atoms with ethylene oxide, such as the condensation product of octadecyl alcohol and 25 to 30 moles of ethylene oxide, or that of technical oleylamine and 15 moles of 22ithylene oxide or that of dodecyl mercaptan and 12 moles of ethylene oxide.
Among the anion-active emulsifiers that can be used, there may be mentioned: the sodium salt of dodecyl alcohol sulfuric acid ester, the sodium salt of dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid, the potassium or triethanolamine salt of oleic acid or abietic acid or mixtures of these acids, or the sodium salt of petroleum sulfonic acid. Quaternary ammonium compounds, such as cetylpyridinium bromide or dioxyethylbenzyldodecylammonium chloride, are suitable as cationic dispersants.
Talc, kaolin, bentonite, calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, but also coal, cork flour, wood flour and other materials of vegetable origin can be used as solid carriers for the production of dust and grit. It is also very useful to manufacture the preparations in granulated form. The various application forms can be provided in the usual way by adding substances which improve the distribution, the adhesive strength, the rain resistance or the penetration capacity; as such substances are mentioned: fatty acids, resin, glue, casein or alginates.
Known insecticides, acaricides or nematocides can be added to widen the spectrum of activity of the compounds of the formula I.

Formulations
Dust
Equal parts of an active ingredient according to the invention and precipitated silica are finely ground. By mixing it with kaolin or talc, it can be used to produce dusts with preferably 1-6% active ingredient content.
Wettable powder
To produce a wettable powder, for example, the following components are mixed and finely ground:
50 parts of active ingredient according to the present invention
20 parts of highly adsorptive silica
25 parts Bolus alba (kaolin)
3.5 parts of l-benzyl-2-stearyl-benzimidazole
Sodium 6,3'-disulfonate.
Emulsion concentrate
Easily soluble active ingredients can also be formulated as an emulsion concentrate according to the following instructions:
20 parts of active ingredient 10 parts of xylene
10 parts of a mixture of a reaction product of an alkylphenol with ethylene oxide and calcium dodecylbenzenesulfonate are mixed.
When diluting with water to the desired concentration, a sprayable emulsion is created.
Granules
7.5 g of one of the active ingredients of the formula I are dissolved in 100 ml of acetone and the acetone solution obtained in this way is added to 92 g of granulated attapulgite (mesh size 24/48 mesh / inch). The whole thing is mixed well, the solvent is drawn off in a rotary evaporator. Granules with an active ingredient content of 7.5% are obtained.
Example 4
Contact effect on Aphis fabae
Method: Young Vicia faba plants by approx
6 cm in height are infected with parts of the plant that are infected by Aphis fabae. After 5 days, the initial conditions for the active substance test are given by the plant continuing to grow and the aphids multiplying accordingly. To test the contact effect, the infected plant is sprayed from all sides with a chromatography nebulizer which contains a solution of a certain active substance concentration, falling from 800 ppm. The effect will be after
2 days found.
It resulted in the following percentage kill for the listed compounds:
Conc. (Ppm) 7 16 17
800 100% 100% 100%
400 100% 100% 100%
200 100% 100% 100%
100 100% 100% 100%
Example 5
Larval test with Epilachna varivestis
Method: Young Phaseolus plants are immersed in aqueous active ingredient solutions with 800, 400, 200 and 100 ppm content, allowed to dry and infested with 5 larvae of Epilachna varivestis in the L-4 stage, after which the entire plant is covered with a plastic bag becomes.
The following kill results were achieved after 5 days with the compounds listed: Conc. (Ppm) 27 30
800 100% 100%
400 100% 100%
200 100% 1130%
100 100% 80%
Example 6
Action against Tetranychus urticae
Method: Phaseolus plants are grown in the two-leaf stage 12 hours before treatment by placing pieces of leaves on them, which are obtained from Tetr. urticae are infected. After 12 hours there is a population in all stages on the test plant. The active ingredients are sprayed onto the plant as a wettable powder using a fine atomizer so that an even coating of droplets is created on the leaf surface.
After 2 and 7 days, the mortality for all stages of development was determined at an active ingredient concentration of 800 ppm. If 100% kill was already present after 2 days, the plant was repopulated.

Example 7
Action against ectoparasites and vectors a) Rhipicephalus bursa
5 adult, hungry ticks are counted in a glass tube and immersed in 2 ml of an aqueous emulsion with 100 ppm test substance for 1-2 minutes.
The tube is then closed with a standardized cotton ball and turned upside down so that the active ingredient emulsion is absorbed by the cotton wool. The evaluation takes place after 2 weeks.
The experiment on Rhipicephalus larvae is carried out analogously.
b) Boophilus microplus (larvae)
About 10-20 larvae are treated with dilution samples of an active ingredient in the manner of experiment a). Evaluation is carried out after 2 weeks.
c) Lucilia sericata (larvae)
A dilution series is made from the emulsion concentrate of an active ingredient. 2 ml of a concentration are mixed with 2 g of minced horse meat in a 10 ml glass vessel. 20-30 newly hatched larvae are transferred into these containers. The evaluation takes place after 24 hours.
d) Aedes aegypti (larvae)
L-l larvae of the yellow fever mosquito are kept for 24 hours in 10 ml of various concentrations of an emulsifiable active ingredient formulation.
Then it is evaluated.
e) Aedes acgypti (#)
The effect of an active compound on adult mosquitoes is checked after exposure for 6 hours on a spray coating formed from an acetone solution. The concentrations for complete destruction are given in mg AS / dish.
The evaluation results of tests a) to e) listed in the table below relate to the minimum concentrations for complete destruction of the test animals.
