<tb> 9 <SEP> 0 <SEP> 1 <SEP> 0 <SEP> 1
<tb> 0 <SEP> 0 <SEP> 1 <SEP> 1 <SEP> 1 Wobei 1 bedeutet,
313, welche in nunmehr bekannter Art in Selbsthaltung übergehen.
Method for remote control of locker locks The invention relates to a method for remote control of locker locks, the locker locks being unlocked from a central point and the opening and closing processes being monitored.
Banks provide their clients with safe deposit boxes against payment of rental fees. The users can store their valuables in these compartments. In most systems of this type, two locks are arranged on the safe, whereby the customer has the key to the customer lock and the bank has the key to the bank lock.
If the customer wants to gain access to the safe deposit box, it is necessary that he identifies himself as the customer concerned, after which a bank clerk accompanies the customer to the safe deposit box. With the help of the key, the safe deposit box rented by the customer can then be opened and closed again.
Systems are also known which are set up in such a way that the bank clerk can remotely control the bank lock from a central point. This has the advantage that he does not have to go to the safe with him every time a customer appears. However, these systems have the disadvantage that the control panels, which have organs assigned to each safe, are large and therefore confusing. Errors can therefore easily arise and wrong compartments can be unlocked.
The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate these disadvantages and to provide a method which allows relatively small control panels to be used, but errors are largely excluded.
The method according to the invention is characterized in that the digit signals coming from a digit dialing device arranged on a control plate are entered simultaneously to a switching unit and digit memory assigned to a connection path, and the stored digit is displayed by an optical digit display assigned to the connection path.
The system according to the invention for carrying out the method is characterized in that the command device contains the control panel with the digit dialing device, which can be connected to each connection path, and several operating circuits which are at least partially mounted on a display panel and which are permanently assigned to each connection path actuated optical numerical display, as well as indicator lamps and control buttons and that means for releasing the control plate for a new selection of a locker number after a connection path has been switched through are provided.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, for example. It show: Fig. 1 is a block diagram of a remote-controlled locker unlocking system, Fig. 2 is the circuit of a digit dialing device used in the system, Fig. 3 and 4 is the circuit of a digit memory containing a code converter and a blocking circuit ent, Fig. 5 the Circuit of an operating circuit and Fig. 6 shows the circuit for unlocking the bank lock ses.
In Fig. 1, the block diagram of a locker unlocking system is shown. A number of numeric buttons 2, a start button 3, a main switch 4 that can be fastened with a key, and four indicator lights 5, 6, 7 and 8 are provided on a control plate 1.
With 5 is a safety alarm lamp, which lights up when a fuse in the system is defective, with 6 a door alarm lamp that indicates whether the door of a device box, in which important parts of the system are housed, is open, with 7 a block occupied lamp to indicate , if part of a through-connection unit 10 is occupied, 8 indicates a system busy lamp which lights up when all connection lines are busy and 9 denotes a ready-to-dial lamp which is combined with the start button 3 and indicates that the system is ready to receive commands .
The control plate 1 is electrically connected to four digit memories 15, 16, 17 and 18 via four code lines 11, 12, 13 and 14, of which only one 11 is shown in FIG. The system shown contains four Ver connection paths 19, 20, 21 and 22, which are all equipped the same. This means that four customers can be served at the same time with this system. Each connec tion path consists of three conductors 23, 24 and 25, which are required to operate the bank lock in the safe (not shown) and for feedback.
On a display plate 26 four identical circuits are arranged, each of which contains a four-digit optical cal numeric display 27, a combined release button 31 with two lamps 28 and 29 and a combined release button 35 with three other lamps 32, 33 and 34.
Each individual circuit on the display plate 26 is connected to the number memory 15 or 16 to 18 via ten digit marking conductors 36, only one of which is shown in FIG. 1, via a further seven lines 37 to 43, which are only represented by a thick line connected. On the one hand, the control commands and, on the other hand, the feedback are transmitted via these seven lines.
A connection path 19 to 22, consisting of the three conductors 23 to 25, is connected to the input side of the switching unit 10 from each digit memory 15 to 18. On the output side of the switching unit 10, all lockers with three conductors 23 to 25 are connected. The task of the interconnection unit 10 is to interconnect the connecting paths 19 to 18 to the desired lockers.
The switching unit also receives the necessary Steuerbe commands from the number memories 15 to 18, for which purpose it is connected to the former via control lines 44, only one of which is shown. Via a message line 45, one of which is assigned to each digit memory, this receives a signal from the switching unit as soon as the switching has occurred. A signal is sent to the control board via a busy line 46 when all the connection paths are busy.
In the present example, a cross selector is used as the switching unit. In their place, other types such as step selector, motor rotary selector or gate selector can also be used. Furthermore, it is also conceivable that the switching unit is not controlled directly from the digit memory, but is influenced by marking circuits.
FIG. 2 shows the circuit of the control board with a digit selection device, which consists of the digit keys 2 and the diodes 47 to 50 connected in series with them. One contact side of the number keys 2 and the start key 3 are connected in parallel and connected to a positive feed connection 51.
A negative voltage is fed to a connection terminal 52 via a fuse (not shown) and, when the main switch 4 is actuated, it reaches the negative supply connection 53. All lines in the circuits with a minus sign are connected to this negative supply connection 53 and all lines with a plus sign are connected to the positive supply connection 51, while the latter is connected to the positive pole of a direct current source, not shown.
The following describes the functional sequence of the entire system shown in FIGS. 2 to 6. For better understanding, all lines which continue from one figure to the other are provided with the same reference symbols. By pressing the start button 3, the switch-on relay An (FIG. 4) is excited via the start line 54. Via the contact anI (Fig. 3) a through-switch relay Dl picks up because the contacts d41 and d21 are closed.
The code lines 11-14 coming from the control board are connected to a relay chain consisting of the memory relays IA-4A, 1B-4B, 1C-4C and 1D-4D via the contacts dlI-d1IV. The relay chain is now free to accept digits in coded form.
This state is indicated by a ready lamp 32 (FIG. 5), which was ignited via the line 55 by the contact anII (FIG. 4). Via the contact anIII (FIG. 4), the line 56 and the contact of the release button 35 (FIG. 5), which is closed in the idle state, the switch relay An remains in self-holding as long as the release button 35 is not actuated.
In addition, the standby lamp 9 on the display plate is ignited via the contact d1V (FIG. 3) and a standby line 62.
A holding plus is applied to the relay chain via the contact at IV (Fig. 3), whereby a relay 1Z first pulls up a number of contacts connected in series. The contact IzI energizes an auxiliary relay 1ZH, whereby the contacts IzhI-1zhIV connect the cathodes of the diodes 57-60 to the windings of the storage relays 1A-4A. In addition, the contact lzII switches a second winding, which is arranged on the relay lZ, to the parallel-connected cathodes of the diodes 63-66. The anodes of these diodes are each connected to the anodes of the diodes 57-60.
After this preparation, you can start entering the digits by pressing four of the desired digit keys 2 (FIG. 2) one after the other. Each of these keys corresponds to a number between zero and nine. With the help of the diodes 47-50, the digits are converted into a four-digit binary code, for which the first key 2, for example, with one of the diodes 48, the second key 2 with a diode 47 and a diode 48, the sixth key 2 with a diode 47, a diode 48 and a diode 50 is connected.
All the cathodes of similar diodes are connected in parallel, i.e. all the cathodes of the diodes 47, all the cathodes of the diodes 48, etc., the four code lines 11-14 are connected to the parallel-connected cathodes.
In the exemplary embodiment described, not all sixteen possible combinations are used because only the ten digits 0-9 have to be converted. The code below has been set.

<tb> 0 <SEP> 0 <SEP> 1 <SEP> 1 <SEP> 1 Where 1 means
that a positive voltage is applied to the code line concerned and 0 means that there is no potential on the code line concerned. Assuming the third key 2 has been pressed as the first digit, this has the consequence that a positive signal from the positive supply connection 51 (FIG. 2) reaches the code line 13 via this third key 2 and via one of the diodes 49.
This signal is then fed to the storage relay 3A via the contact d1111 (FIG. 3), the diode 59 and the changeover contact lzhIII, which then goes into self-retention thanks to its contact 3a1.
The same signal is also fed to the second winding on the relay 1Z via the diode 65 and the contact 1zII, which is closed at this time, whereby a self-holding is achieved as long as the button 2 is held down. A relay 2Z is energized via contact 1zIII, which causes an auxiliary relay 2ZH to pick up via contact 2z1 and its changeover contacts 2zhI-2zhIV to prepare memory relays 1B-4B for connection to code lines 11-14.
The power supply for the first winding of the relay 1Z is interrupted by the contact 2zVI. After the third button 2 has been released, the positive signal on the code line 13 disappears and the relay 1Z drops out. The contact 1z1 opens and the auxiliary relay 1ZH returns to its rest position, whereby the changeover contacts IzhI-1zhIV connect the code lines 11-14 to the relays 113-4B.
The memory relays 1A-4A save the recorded code corresponding to the first three digit that was entered. In this assumed case, only the storage relay 3A remains energized, which corresponds to the code 0010.
If, for example, the third button 2 is pressed again as the second digit, the process described above is repeated with the difference that only the storage relay 3B is excited, which then holds itself via its contact 3b1, and that when the relay 2Z pulls in, the Relay 3Z has been energized, which causes the auxiliary relay 3ZH to pick up, whereby the changeover contacts 3zhI-3zhIV of the auxiliary relay 3ZH prepare the connection of the storage relays 1C-4C to the code lines 11-14.
After the third button 2 is released again, the relays 2Z and 2ZH drop out, whereby the code lines 11-14 are connected to the prepared memory relays 1C-4C via the switchover contacts 2zhI-2zhIV. The memory relay 1B-4B also holds the code 0010 corresponding to the second digit three.
If the fourth key 2 is pressed according to the third digit, a positive signal is sent to the code lines 11 and 13 via one of the diodes 47 and one of the diodes 49. These signals pass through the diode 57 to the memory relay 1C and via the Diode 59 to memory relay 3C. These relays are latched through their contacts 1c1 and 3c1.
The relay 3Z has also activated the relay pair 4Z and 4ZH, whereby the fourth memory relay group 113-4D was prepared. After releasing the fourth button 2, the relays 3Z and 3ZH drop out, which results in the connection of the memory relays 113-4D to the code lines 11 14 via the changeover contacts 3zhI-3zhIV. The code 1010 is saved by the memory relay IC-4C.
If the fifth key 2 is now pressed in accordance with the fourth and last digit, positive signals are transmitted via one of the diodes 48 and one of the diodes 49 to the code lines 12 or 13 and from there via the diode 58 or the diode 59 to the memory relays 213 and 313, which go into self-holding in the now known manner. After releasing the fifth key 2, the relays 4Z and 4ZH drop out and the code 0110 corresponding to the fourth digit five is stored by the memory relay 113-4.D.
After a11 of these processes, the dialed number 3345 is contained in coded form in the digit memory, consisting of the memory relay groups 1A-4A, 1B-4B, 1C-4C and 113-4D.
In FIG. 4, further circuits which belong to the memory relays are shown. A contact pyramid 67 is assigned to each storage relay group. The task of this contact pyramid is to decrypt the coded stored digits and to supply them in decrypted form to the switching unit 10 on the one hand and to the optical digit display 27 on the other.
The top of the pyramid is fed via the contact anV and the contact IzV -ein Halteplus. The top level of the pyramid is formed by the switchover contact 4aII, the second from the top by the switchover tekontakt 3aII, the third from the top by the switchover contacts 2aII, 2a111 and 2aIV and the base level by the switchover contacts lall, laIII, laIV, 3a111 and 3aIV.
In this way, ten digit outputs 68 have arisen, only one of which, corresponding to a digit between 0-9, can simultaneously have a positive signal.
These digit outputs are connected on the one hand with Steuerein inputs of the switching unit 10 and on the other hand with individual digit lamps 69, 69 ', 69 "and 69"' (Figure 5). Thus, on the one hand, the switching unit 10 will prepare the connection to the desired locker and, on the other hand, the selected digit in the optical numeric display 27 will light up.
For the sake of simplicity, only one contact pyramid 67 is shown in FIG. 4. The other storage relay groups 1B-413, 1C-4C and ID-4D are assigned analog pyramids. In FIG. 5, only four number lamps 69, 69 ', 69 "and 69"' are shown by a number display 27 for simplification. In reality, a complete digit display for displaying a four-digit number contains forty digit lamps 69. The second connections of the digit lamps 69 are connected to the negative supply connection 53 via limiting resistors 70, 70 ', 70 "and 70"' assigned to each group of lamps.
When the switching unit 10 has finished switching, a positive voltage is applied to a switching relay D3 (FIG. 4) via the message line 45. As a result, the two conductors 23 and 24 via the contacts d31 and d311 via the conductors 71 and 72 of a lamp 28 (FIG. 5) for indicating when the locker is open, and a lamp 29 for indicating when the customer has opened his lock , fed.
A lamp 34 (FIG. 5) is made to light up via the changeover contact d311 and the contact eIII, which is currently still in the idle state, and via a conductor 73, which indicates that the connection to the locker has been switched through.
The connection path to the locker is now connected and the number of the locker in question can be read on the numeric display 27. By pressing the unlocking button 31 (FIG. 5), a positive signal is fed to an unlocking relay E via an unlocking command line 37 and via the contact d3111 that has been closed since switching through.
The latter is kept in the attracted state via its contact eI. Via the contact eII, a negative voltage is applied to the conductor 25 which, through the switching unit, leads to the selected locker, the diagram of which is shown in FIG. to the unlocking relay 37. The bank lock of the safe deposit box is unlocked by means of this relay, so that the customer only has to unlock his lock to access the contents of the safe deposit box.
The unlocking status is indicated on the display plate 26 (FIG. 1) by lighting up an unlocking lamp 33. A positive voltage is fed to them via the changeover contacts d311 and eIII (FIG. 4) and the conductor 43 after the unlocking button 31 (FIG. 5) has been actuated.
When the customer's lock is unlocked, a lock contact 38 is thrown, whereby a positive signal reaches the lamp 28 (FIG. 5) via the conductor 24, through the switching unit 10, via the contact d31 (FIG. 4) and the conductor 72. The lighting of this lamp shows that the customer has opened his lock.
If the customer opens the door of the locker, a door contact 39 is closed. Since the door contact 39 is not connected to the positive rail 40 when the lock contact 38 is in the open position, no signal is transmitted for the time being.
However, if the customer mistakenly closes the lock before he has closed the door of the locker, a positive voltage is generated from the positive rail via the lock contact 38, the door contact 39, the conductor 23, the switching unit 10, the contact d311 (FIG. 4 ) and the conductor 71 of the lamp 28 (Figure 5). The lighting of this lamp is a sign that the customer has carried out a wrong manipulation.
On the conductor 71 (Fig. 4) a locking relay SP is switched on, which pulls up with the lighting of the lamp 28 (Fig. 5). A positive voltage is applied to the winding of the connection relay An via its contact spI. This contact spI bridges the contacts anIII (Fig. 4) and the release button 35 (Fig. 5). This prevents the bank clerk from releasing the connection before the safe deposit box is properly locked.
However, if the locker was properly closed, no signal reaches the lamp 28 via the conductor 23 and the lamp goes out again. After the customer has properly signed off from the bank clerk, the clerk presses the release button 35 (FIG. 5), whereby the self-holding circuit of the connection relay An (FIG. 4) is interrupted. This drops out and the activated storage relays 3A, 313, 1C, 2C, 21) and 31) also drop out because the holding plus is switched on by the contact at IV.
In addition, the supply of the Halteplus to the contact pyramid tip through the con tact anV (Fig. 4) u. the locking relay E has been canceled. The previously dialed number on the numeric display 27 goes out and the bank lock of the safe is locked again because the unlocking relay 37 (FIG. 6) is de-energized. The switching relay 11) drops out, whereby the switching is canceled and the connection path is free for the next use.
The block alarm lamp 7 (FIG. 2) receives a signal via a busy block conductor 40 from the switching unit 10 in a manner not shown further when certain switching blocks are occupied, but connecting lines are still free, which can occur if a switching unit 10 is used, whose output bundles are not completely entangled.
The door alarm lamp 6 (FIG. 2) can be supplied with a voltage via a line 41 in a manner not shown when the cabinet door of the cabinet in which the circuits of the switching unit are housed is opened. Finally, the safety alarm lamp 5 can be supplied with a voltage via an alarm line 42 in a manner also not shown if a fuse in the system is defective.
As already mentioned, the relay D3 (FIG. 4) has been energized after the connection path has been switched through by the switching unit. The contact d31 pulls in the relay D4, which causes the relay Dl (Fig. 3) to drop out because the contact d4VI interrupts the holding circuit. When the relay Dl drops out, the contacts dlI-d1IV open, as a result of which the code lines l1-14 are separated from the digit memory 15.
The control plate 1 is thus free and is available for the selection of the next locker number, in which case the digits can then be entered into a second, third or fourth digit memory 16, 17, 18 (Fig.l) if the previous ones are already occupied.
In principle, 10,000 lockers can be operated remotely with the locker unlocking system described, because the number dialing device enables the numbers 0000 to 9999 to be dialed. In very few cases, this theoretical capacity will be used, especially not during the initial expansion.
If, for example, only 4,000 lockers are set up, the switching unit is only expanded for this number of switching options for financial reasons. In order to avoid blind occupancy, a Kontaktkom combination 33 (Fig. 4) is provided, which enables the release of the connection path immediately after dialing a number for which no locker is provided.
The contact combination 33 consists mainly of a closed circuit of changeover contacts of the storage relays A, B and C and a normally open contact d2V of the through switch relay D2. If a number is dialed for which there is no corresponding locker, a positive voltage is fed to the connection point of the winding of the connection relay An and its series resistor 74 via a release splitter 61, which causes the connection relay to drop out and free the connection path.
It goes without saying that the individual connections between changeover contacts of the contact combination can be switched over, so that the effect of this circuit can be adapted to the expansion of the system.
If, for example, the number 7251 is dialed, for which no locker is provided, the selection of the first digit 7 does not actuate any switchover contact in the selected contact combination. By selecting number 2, the changeover contacts 1bV and 2bV and by selecting number 5, the changeover contacts 2cV and 3cV.
The selection of the last digit has no influence on the contact combination because there are no contacts from the memory relays 1D-41) in this circuit. However, as soon as the through-switch relay D3 (Fig. 4) has been excited by the through-connection unit 10 via the signal line 45, the relay D2 also picks up, whereby the contact d2V sends a positive signal via the dormant change-over contact 3aV,
reaches the resting contact 2aV and via the release line 61 to the winding of the connection relay An, whereby this winding is short-circuited and the connection relay An drops out. As a result, the connection path is triggered and released.
For example, dialing a number between 2570 to 2579 will energize memory relays 1A, 2A, 2B, 3B and 4C. Of course, depending on the last digit, some of the relays 1D-4D will respond, but since the latter no contacts in the contact combination 33 (Fig. 4) are provided, the last digit is not taken into account for the test to trigger. In the contact combination, the following contacts switch between laV, 2aV, 3bV, 3cV and 4cV.
If, following the command to switch on, coming from the message line 45, the switch relay D3 and then the relay D2 pick up and the contact d2V applies a positive signal to the switchover contacts connected in series, this signal cannot reach the trip line 61. Therefore the connection is not released prematurely, but switched through.
The system described above has the following advantages over existing systems. The control panel takes up little space and the unlocking process can still be precisely monitored; the occupied connection path can only be released again when the locker is properly closed again and when a number is selected for which no locker is provided, the connection path becomes free again immediately.
Without the contact combination 33 (FIG. 4), the officer could dial a wrong number and not notice this despite the visual display. In this case the customer would try in vain to open his locker. However, if the connection path is triggered again by the contact combination 33, this must be noticed by the bank clerk and he can dial the correct number again.
