Shaped watch case Numerous watch cases have been proposed in which the casing frame is, directly or indirectly, fixed to the vertical edge of the back, for example by screwing.
The bottom of the box can also be engaged, by its vertical edge, inside the bezel, these two parts being assembled by means of screws ensuring, in addition, the maintenance of the casing frame.
A sealing package may, for sealed cases, be pressed against the bezel by the heel of the crystal and by the upper rim of the caseback, the whole bezel-back-caseband being assembled in a sealed manner by interposing wedges simultaneously engaging, in part in a recess in the middle part and, in part, in a corresponding recess in the bezel.
We also had the idea of providing for such boxes, comprising a bottom and a bezel fitting one into the other, recesses formed in a complementary manner in each of these two parts of the box, at least around the place of passage of the winding stem, in such a way that these recesses together form, when the case is closed, a housing located on either side of the socket joint and in which are clamped two halves fittings of elastic material enclosing, in turn, between them, the winding stem.
This arrangement first of all has the drawback of generally using two separate half-seals, the joint of which can obviously be the source of a sealing defect. In addition, and above all, this arrangement significantly weakens the rigidity of the walls of the bezel and of the vertical part of the base at the places where these recesses are made. It cannot therefore be successfully used for boxes made of precious metals, such as gold, which themselves do not have sufficient rigidity and for which sufficiently thick walls must be provided.
In another construction, the lining is annular and integral with a peripheral seal arranged between the heel of the lens and the. box. This gasket, however, directly surrounds the tube and is housed in a hole made in the bottom. This solution therefore also has the drawbacks mentioned above.
The object of the present invention is precisely to provide the shaped boxes with sufficient sealing at the point of passage of a movement control rod without, however, weakening the walls of the box.
It therefore relates to a shaped watch case, in which the movement is carried by a casing frame fixed to the lateral edge of the back, characterized in that a sealing package is arranged at the level of the passage of the case. 'at least one control rod of the watch, between the casing frame and the side edge of the bottom, in a housing formed at least partially in the corresponding part of the casing frame, and at most, partially in the thickness from the side edge wall of the bottom.
The present invention will be better understood by referring to the appended drawing which shows, by way of example, a particular embodiment thereof and in which FIG. 1 is a partial sectional view of a box which is the subject of the present invention, and FIG. 2 a small-scale sectional view along 11-l1 of fig.1.
Referring first to FIG. 1, the shaped box has a bottom (1) whose side edge (2) engages inside a bezel (3). A sealing package (4) is pressed vertically against the upper part.

top of the bezel (3) on the one hand by the heel (5) of the glass (6) and, on the other hand, by the upper wall (7) of the edge (2) of the bottom of the case.
The casing frame (8) of this box, the casing frame which carries the movement (9), is fixed directly, at least over its greatest part, to the internal face of the edge (2) of the base ( 1). The housing frame (8), bottom and bezel (3) assembly is secured by screws such as screw (10).
The tube (11) of the winding stem is welded to the casing frame (8) and passes through the side edge (2) of the back, then the bezel (3) by notches. The opening of the notch in the edge (2) is directed upwards, while that of the bezel (3) is directed downwards, so as to allow the assembly of the housing frame, tube to be released. winding the case by removing, vertically and after unscrewing the screws (10), the bezel. In the vicinity of the passage of the tube of the winding stem through the edge (2) and the bezel (3), a parallelepipedal housing (12) has been provided in the vertical edge of the casing frame (8).
This housing can be obtained by milling the casing frame and extends over the entire height of the latter. In this housing is disposed a sealing package (13) which, as is clear from FIG. 1, protrudes above the housing (12) to join the sealing package (4) and be compressed with it. This package thus fills the void separating the heel (5) of the ice (6) from the inner wall of the edge (2) of the bottom.
The arrangement described makes it possible, without reducing the rigidity of the side walls of the case, to obtain, when the winding stem passes through, a seal which in particular opposes the passage of dust. The housing (12) described was entirely made in the casing frame (8), but it could be made for a small part in the thickness of the wall of the edge (2) of the bottom.
