Description
La fig. 1 représente l'emballage étanche décrit, en perspective;
Waterproof packaging
The subject of the invention is a sealed packaging.
The aim of the invention is to produce such a package which can very easily be opened and closed, in order to take samples or additions therein, without its sealing qualities being reduced thereby.
For this purpose, the packaging according to the invention consists of a hollow body completely open at the top and capped by a cover which fits on the outside on said body and in the bottom of which is a movable support plate capable of to rest on the upper edge of the side walls of said body and against which it is possible, through at least one cutout made in the bottom of the cover, to bear to lift the latter, the sealing of the packaging being ensured between the body and the cover, by a precise adjustment of these two parts, and between the cover and the support plate, by at least one bellows-shaped membrane, one edge of which is in contact with the internal face of the cover, surrounding the one or more the above-mentioned openings, and the other edge of which is in contact with the upper face of the support plate.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the sealed packaging, object of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows the sealed packaging described, in perspective;
fig. 2 is, on a larger scale, a section taken along the line II-II of FIG. 1, and
figs. 3 and 4 are views similar to that of FIG. 2, showing two successive phases of opening the package.
The packaging shown consists of a hollow body 1, completely open at the top and capped by a cover 2 which fits on the outside on it. In this embodiment, the body is of generally parallelepipedal shape and the cover is of corresponding shape.
The internal face of the cover 2 is provided, in the vicinity of its lower edge, with an annular bead or bead 3 intended to form a tight seal against the base of the body. The side walls of the body, over a good part of their height, from the top, have a clearance 4 so that the bead 3 is no longer in contact with the body, as soon as the cover has been raised by a certain amount , as can be seen in FIGS. 3 and 4.
In the bottom of the cover 2 is disposed a support plate 6 which can move vertically in said cover and whose dimensions are such that its periphery can bear against the upper edge of the side walls of the body. The support plate 6 has bosses 7 (two in this example) which can slide in openings of corresponding shape 8 made in the bottom of the cover 2, when the plate is moved relative to the cover.
The cover and the support plate are connected in a sealed manner, by an annular membrane 9 forming a bellows, one edge of which is integral with the upper edge of said support plate and the other edge, integral with the internal face of the lid. The openings 8 are thus completely surrounded by the membrane 9 and there is no possible communication between the internal face of the support plate and the external face of the cover.
Thus, when the package is closed, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, there is no communication between the interior of the body 1 and the exterior, since there are tight joints, on the one hand, between the body. and the cover, along the bead 3 and, on the other hand, between the cover and the support plate 6, thanks to the presence of the membrane 9. The products which are placed in the packaging are therefore well sheltered, in particular sheltered from the humidity of the outside air.
To open the packaging, it suffices to tighten the cover laterally, for example with the palms of the hands, and to lift it relative to the body 1 by resting, for example with the thumbs, on the plate 6 through the openings 8 of the cover; as soon as the bead 3 of the cover leaves the base of the body and reaches the thinned part of the side walls of the cell, as shown in FIG. 3, there is no longer any appreciable friction between the cover and the body and ron can then easily remove the cover completely, without continuing to rest against the plate 6 (see fig. 4). The support plate, connected to the cover by the bellows membrane 9, is therefore removed at the same time as the cover. When the packaging is closed, the membrane is compressed (fig. 2).
As a variant, the membrane 9 is not fixed to the cover or to the support plate, or else it is fixed only to one of these two parts, each free edge of the membrane then being simply applied against the corresponding part.
To prevent the whole of the support plate and the membrane from falling when the cover is removed, in this case, a cord or bead is provided on the inside of the side wall of the cover. , annular 10, (shown in dotted lines in FIG. 4) retaining said plate.
Since this packaging is very airtight, it is possible that, when it is closed, a small amount of moisture contained in the ambient air at the time of the operation is trapped therein; However, if the products contained in the packaging fear humidity, the humidity trapped there must be absorbed. To this end, each boss 7 forms, on the interior side of the support plate, a recess 11, into which is inserted, with slight force, a dehydrating capsule of corresponding shape 12.
In the embodiment shown, the capsule 12 has one or more lateral tabs 13, the elasticity of which serves to maintain the capsule in its housing, by friction against the walls of the recess in which it is housed.
Other embodiments could have a shape quite different from that shown, the internal annular bead of the cover might not exist, provided that the cover is fitted with precision on the body, the membrane could have another shape and, in particular , be composed of several distinct elements each surrounding one of the openings in the lid, and the desiccant capsule (s) could be fixed in the lid in any other way.
