Method for controlling a textile machine, in particular automatic package winder, as a function of the thread path and device for carrying out the method
The present invention relates to a method for controlling a textile machine, in particular automatic package winder, as a function of the thread path.
In automatic winding machines with a plurality of winding units, as is known, the thread of each winding unit is monitored in order to trigger an automatic delivery bobbin change system and / or an automatic thread knot system in the event of yarn errors, which correct the error at the winding unit concerned. For this purpose, so-called thread cleaners on the one hand and drop stirrups or lamella buttons or the like on the other hand as monitoring devices are assigned to the running paths of the threads. The former are able to activate the automatic thread knot in the event of thread errors, while the latter are used to trigger the automatic delivery bobbin change.
It has now been shown that the drop stirrups, lamellar switches and similar mechanical monitoring elements no longer meet today's requirements, in accordance with the ever increasing thread speeds, in that the stirrups or switches resting on the thread load it in an undesirable manner and their, through permanent Pollution or increased inertia prevents an immediate response.
In contrast, the thread cleaners have proven themselves as inertia-free, maintenance-free and thread-protecting monitoring devices. The thread cleaner monitors the thread in the area of the automatic knot, the thread generating an electrical signal in a path that is limited by a capacitive or photoelectric cell. The fluctuations in the diameter of the thread create an alternating voltage, which is then amplified and rectified, the direct current signal obtained being evaluated as an indicator for the presence of a thread moving along the path. If the thread rests in the running path or if it is completely absent, the direct current signal is also missing, which has the consequence that the winding unit in question is switched off, preferably via relays, and the automatic thread system is put into operation.
If, on the other hand, the running thread has an impermissible thick point, a so-called positive voltage peak occurs, which is used to separate the thread, whereupon the shutting down and knotting is initiated again due to the absence of the mentioned direct current signal. Such a thread cleaner control is described in detail, for example, in Swiss Patent No. 389 470 by the same applicant.
With known control methods, the aforementioned thread cleaner controls the machine as a function of the thread only as long as the thread is in the effective range of the automatic knotting system and can be detected by it. However, if the thread breaks outside of this range or if the supply bobbin is exhausted, the mechanical button or sensor is activated and initially triggers the automatic delivery bobbin change function.
The method according to the present invention is intended to make it possible to use the amplified signal at the output of the thread cleaner or the measuring cell for starting the automatic delivery bobbin changing system while avoiding the use of disadvantageous clips or buttons. This is achieved according to the invention in that a signal is obtained from a negative voltage peak representing the falling out of the thread from the running path and is evaluated for the introduction of a new thread after a threshold value has been exceeded and furthermore that the detection of an impermissible thick point of the thread for the separation of the The signal evaluated by the thread is also used to suppress the evaluation of the signal for the introduction of a new thread.
A positive tension peak is to be understood here as that tension in the running path that is generated by a change in diameter on the running thread beyond a predetermined amount.
The method is based on the assumption that when the thread falls out of the measuring range, before a so-called rest or zero tension is set, which is also present when the thread is stationary, a tension peak opposite to the tension peak at a thick point occurs.
This signal change, referred to as a negative voltage peak according to the above definition, does not only occur if, for example, the thread supply has been exhausted and a thread has to be fed in again, but also if the thread has been cut because of a thick point and is therefore only to be knotted is, which is why the aforementioned feedback of the signal obtained from the positive voltage peak takes place in order to prevent the start-up of the device for feeding a new thread.
With these measures it is now possible to control the machine as a function of the thread path by means of a single monitoring element, namely a thread cleaner, which leads to a much simpler and also more reliable and faster conception of the machine.
Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for carrying out the method, with an electrical sensor element, at the output of which on the one hand a first switching element responding at a certain tension state for separating the thread and on the other hand via a rectifier a second switching element responding at a certain tension state for shutdown the winding station is connected, which is characterized in that at least the output of the sensor element is connected to an additional evaluation circuit, to which a further switching element, which responds to a certain tension state, is applied to trigger a device for feeding a new thread. A circuit controllable by the switching element is a switching element that can be influenced by the switching element to avoid the switching operation in this circuit,
when the switching element responds at the output of the sensor element.
For example, embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are to be explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. Show it:
1 shows a schematic representation of a winding unit of an automatic winding machine,
2 shows a circuit arrangement of a thread cleaner with an evaluation circuit,
3 shows a diagram of the voltage curve at the output of the measuring cell of the thread cleaner, under different operating conditions, as a function of the measuring time,
4 shows a section of a control circuit that can be influenced by the evaluation circuit according to FIG
5 and 6 show two design variants of the measuring slot on the thread cleaner.
In Fig. 1, a winding unit 10 is shown, a plurality of which is arranged on a turntable of an automatic winding machine not shown in detail. Out of orbit this one; Spooling units 10 are located in a known manner, a so-called automatic thread knot system as well as an automatic LieMerspulenschalterautomatik with which each winding unit can be brought into operative connection. Such a machine is known and is described, for example, in Swiss Patent No. 438 113 by the same applicant, so that only what is essential for understanding the present invention will be discussed in more detail below.
At the winding station 10, a thread F is drawn off a pay-off bobbin 11 and fed to a take-up bobbin 17 via a balloon breaker 12, an insulation 13, an electronic thread cleaner 14, a deflection plate 15 and a grooved drum 16. The thread run is monitored here by the thread cleaner 14, which, depending on the operating state, brings the winding unit 10 into operative connection with the automatic thread knot and the automatic delivery changeover bobbin and! triggers the activity of one or the other automatic system, as described in more detail below.
JThe l; LadenknAautomatilr must, for example, come into operation when the thread between insulation 13 or thread cleaner 14 and take-up bobbin 17 is broken or has been separated from thread cleaner 14. In both cases, the automatic thread knot system is able to pick up and knot both thread ends, so that there is no need to replace the pay-off bobbin 11. If, on the other hand, the thread underneath the insulation 13 breaks or the pay-off bobbin 11 is exhausted, the pay-off bobbin 11 must be replaced prior to knotting.
The circuit arrangement of the thread cleaner 14 with a suitable evaluation circuit for determining the aforementioned errors and for triggering the troubleshooting is shown in FIG. According to this illustration, the thread cleaner 14 comprises a photoelectric measuring cell 18, the output signal of which is fed to an amplifier 19. The latter gives u. a. its signal via a threshold switch 20 to a relay 21, which is used to actuate a cutting knife 22.
Furthermore, a first evaluation circuit 23 is present at the output of the amplifier 19, which is used to turn off the winding head 10 (FIG. 1) (shutdown of the winding bobbin 17). This evaluation circuit comprises an amplifier 24, a rectifier 25 and a control relay 26.
As is known, the thread F, when passing through the measuring cell 18, generates an alternating voltage due to its diameter fluctuations, the course of which is indicated by the curve 27 in FIG. 3. This alternating voltage is rectified after its amplification in the rectifier 25 of the evaluation circuit 23, which results in a continuous signal at the relay 26. In response to a thick point, however, a positive tension peak in accordance with curve 28 in FIG. 3 is generated in measuring cell 18, if the thread falls out of the measuring cell a negative tension peak in accordance with curve 29 in FIG. 3 and in the case of a missing thread or a stationary thread in measuring cell 18 a Zero voltage generated according to curve 30 in FIG. 3.
In response to the negative voltage peak and the zero voltage, however, the direct current signal at the output of the rectifier 25 will fail and lead to a switching process at the relay 26, which relay triggers the winding unit to be switched off, which then switches on the automatic knotting as long as this switch-on is not through a signal that gives priority to the automatic delivery bobbin change is prevented.
If the signal change at the output of the amplifier 19 is caused by a thick point on the thread, when the tension pulse 28 according to FIG. 3 exceeds the threshold value of the switch 20, the relay 21 is at least simultaneously energized and the thread separation is triggered with the knife 22. The switching time of the relay 21 is illustrated by curve 21 ′ in FIG. 3.
As already mentioned above, the voltage peak representing the falling out of the thread F from the measuring cell 18 according to curve 29 in FIG. 3 is intended to generate a signal that can be evaluated for the introduction of a new thread, i.e. for triggering the automatic delivery bobbin change. For this purpose, a second evaluation circuit 31 is provided, which comprises two inputs 32 and 33. One input 32 is parallel to the output of the amplifier 19 of the thread cleaner 18 and is connected to a first input 132 of a gate circuit 34.
The other input 33 is parallel to the output of the rectifier 25 of the first evaluation circuit 23 and is connected to a second input 133 of the gate circuit 34 via parallel timing elements tj and t2 and a further gate circuit 35 connected in series with these timing elements. An integrator 36 and a threshold switch 37 are connected downstream of this gate 35, a relay 38 being applied to the latter.
If the thread F falls out of the measuring cell 18 as a result of thread breakage below the insulation 13 (Fig. 1) or exhaustion of the pay-off bobbin 11, the signal according to curve 29 in Fig. 3 appears at the input 132 of the gate circuit 34 To open gate 34, a signal must also appear at input 133. However, this is only the case if only the timer t2 sends a signal to the gate 35. If, on the other hand, there is a direct current signal at the inputs of t1 and t2, gate 35 is blocked.
However, after the DC signal disappears in the event of a negative voltage spike, the timing elements t1 and t2 are switched in such a way that first tj and then t temporarily suppress the input signal at gate 35, which can be achieved, for example, by means of drop-delayed relays. In this way, the gate 34 is only conductive in the time unit t2 minus tj according to FIG. 3, which allows interference signals to be suppressed. If the output signal at the integrator 36 then exceeds the threshold value of the switch 37, the relay 38 responds and gives the switch-on command for the automatic delivery reel changing system via contact 38 '.
However, if the thread F breaks in such a way that it remains in the measuring field, the gate 34 receives a signal again via the inputs 132 and 133 and thus becomes conductive, but the zero signal reaches the integrator 36 via the input 132. This therefore cannot generate an output signal that exceeds the threshold value of switch 37, so that relay 38 cannot respond either. The switching time of the relay 38 is illustrated by curve 38 ″ in FIG. 3.
As already explained, however, the thread F can fall out of the measuring field without a change of the delivery package being desired. This is the case when the thread F has been cut by the feeler 14 in the manner described above after an undesired thick point has occurred. In such a case, the thread severing signal is also used to suppress the trigger signal for the automatic delivery bobbin change. For this purpose, a timing element t is connected in parallel to the relay 21 for the cutting knife 22 of the thread sensor 14, which, in response to the cutting signal, opens a switch t ′ over the time t3 according to curve t ″ in FIG.
This time t3 here expediently corresponds to the damping time of the negative voltage spike 29 to the no-load voltage 30.
Said switch t is in this case in a control circuit according to FIG. 4 in series with a switch-on relay 40 for the automatic delivery bobbin change and in series with the switching contact 38 'of the relay 38 for the switch-on command.
If the thread F now comes out of the area of the measuring cell 18 as a result of the separation of the thread F by an impulse on the separating relay 21 of the thread cleaner 14, the switch-on command is given via contact 38 'of the relay 38, but this command is given by opening the contact t 'of the timing element t with the separation signal is suppressed, as can easily be ascertained from FIG.
At this point it should be mentioned that the invention is not limited to the circuit arrangement described above. A wide variety of switching elements can be thought of as timing elements t, t1 and t2, or the feedback of the signal from the output of the thread cleaner to the evaluation circuit for the negative voltage peak can be accomplished without contact.
It should also be noted that in order to avoid the thread jumping out of the measuring slot of the thread cleaner after the pretension on the thread generated by the drop stirrups or lamellar buttons that was previously used is missing, the thread cleaner is expediently provided with a slot cover.
According to FIG. 5, this slot cover can be a slide 50 on the end face of the thread cleaner 14, which is held in the closed position by an electromagnet 51 against the action of a spring 52. For the insertion of the thread F, the electromagnet 51 is excited, which results in an unlocking.
According to FIG. 6, the slot cover consists of a flap 53 which can be pivoted inward for inserting the thread F into the measuring slot of the thread cleaner 14.
