Pivoting and locking device for sliding doors, in particular for rail vehicles The invention relates to a pivoting and locking device for sliding doors, in particular for rail vehicles, which can be pivoted out of the plane of a wall and then displaced along the same in the longitudinal direction.
Such devices are known, but in this case a special lever must be actuated separately for locking and for pivoting at each end of the door to be pivoted or of the wall part to be pivoted, which makes handling cumbersome and time-consuming. The invention is based on the object of combining the pivoting device and the locking device into a functionally cooperative structure, so that the operation for both processes is carried out in a simple manner only by a single operating lever at each end of the door.
The pivoting and locking device according to the invention is characterized in that parallel to the vertical edges of the door on each side there is a hollow shaft provided with an actuating lever and rotatably mounted in bearings on the door for locking the door in the closed state, within which there is a pivot shaft which rotates with the hollow shaft after a certain angle of rotation and which is connected to pivot arms which, on the other hand, can be pivoted about pivot pins which are displaceable on the wall in the longitudinal direction.
The drawing shows an embodiment of a pivoting and locking device according to the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section through the device, FIG. 2 shows a cross section through the door along the line 11-11 in FIG. 1 when the door is closed Door and Fig.3 a corresponding cross section with the door pivoted out. The door of a freight wagon can be pivoted out of the wagon wall plane in a manner known per se and then displaced in front of the wall of the wagon.
Approximately at the two lateral ends of the door there is a respective in fixed bearings 14 of the door 1 rotatable hollow shaft 3, within which a pivot shaft 4 relative to the hollow shaft 3 is rotatably arranged. This pivot shaft 4 is provided at its upper end with a pivot arm 5 which carries a guide pin 6 which is guided in a guide plane 6 'on the wall 2 in the longitudinal direction of the car. The lower end of the pivot shaft 4 also carries a pivot arm 7 with which the pivot shaft 4 is supported on a trolley 9 so that it can pivot about a pin 8. This rolling carriage 9 runs in the longitudinal direction of the carriage on rails 15 which are arranged on the side wall 2.
An actuating lever 10 is attached to the hollow shaft 3 so that it can pivot vertically and is inserted into a catch 11 when the door 1 is closed. At the lower end of the hollow shaft there is a driver 12 which cooperates with a stop 13 which is arranged on the pivot shaft 4.
At the upper and lower ends of the hollow shaft 3 there are cams 16 which, to lock the door 1, engage in shells 17 which are welded to the fixed wall 2 of the car.
If the actuating levers 10 are lifted out of the catches 11 and pivoted to open the door 1, the cams 16 are initially pivoted out of the shells 17 when the hollow shaft 3 is rotated. As soon as the drivers 12 meet with the stops 13, the pivot shaft 4 is carried along with the further pivoting of the actuating lever 10 and thus the hollow shaft 3, whereby the pivot arms 5 and 7 are then pivoted. Here, the door 1 emerges from the opening lying in the plane of the car wall 2 and can now be moved outside the car wall 2 in the longitudinal direction of the car on the rails 15.
On the lower bearings 14 of the hollow shaft 3 there can be holder forks 18 (see Fig. 2, left), between tween the when the operating lever 10 is folded down a holding plate 19 attached to this is inserted in the pivoted position of the door 1, whereby the door 1 is set with respect to their pivoting movement. On the wall 2 of the car body there are also centering pieces 20 which cause the door 1 to pivot in precisely during the closing process.
