Bremsvorrichtung an Aufwickelmaschinen
Braking device on rewinding machines
The invention relates to a braking device on winding machines, which has a locking mechanism, one part of which is mounted in a stationary manner and the other part of which is connected to the winding axis in a rotating manner.
In winding machines there is often the need to end the rotary movement of the winding as quickly as possible in the event of an interruption in the winding process or when the winding process is completed in order to avoid further winding of the wound material. This is of particular importance in winding machines, especially in specialty winding machines, in which it must be avoided that the broken thread end runs onto the take-up spool, since otherwise a time-consuming search process is required to find the leaked thread end.
A separating device for cross-winding machines is known in which the braking device consists of a brake drum to which the brake shoes are applied. Such a device has the disadvantage that the braking force only has to build up gradually during the braking process, that is to say is not immediately available when the winding machine is switched off. In addition, this device must be relatively large so that the required braking forces can be applied. This, however, is in turn associated with an increase in the moment of inertia, which must be braked in addition to the moment of inertia of the roll.
Another device for automatically stopping the reel spool on winding machines is known, the braking device consisting of a ratchet mechanism connected to the reel shaft. As soon as the winding machine, in this case the winding machine, is stopped, the pawl falls into the ratchet wheel and thereby brings the reel to an instant standstill. Such a device, however, has the disadvantage that very large impact movements occur which, on the one hand, lead to rapid wear of the Ge lock and, on the other hand, can result in the winding being released from its winding mandrel.
For braking the take-up reel in driving drum winding machines, a device is also known in which a Bremsmitbell, z. B. a brake plate is introduced, which lifts the bobbin from the drive drum and at the same time exerts a braking effect on the winding bobbin, but with increasing winding speeds, such a device for rapid braking is not suitable because the then necessary strong friction between the braking means and the winding bobbin can damage the coil surface.
Finally, a device has also become known which, although using a locking mechanism to interrupt the winding rotation, is provided with a spring which is intended to absorb the major part of the kinetic energy to avoid the impact loads. However, such a device has the disadvantage that the spring tensioned during the braking process tries to return to the untensioned state after the winding-up bobbin has stopped, so that the spring tensioning inevitably turns the winding back. In addition, this device requires a relatively high structural effort, which in turn leads to an increase in the amount to be braked.
Flywheels leads. Another disadvantage of this known device is that it is not possible to adjust the deceleration effect of the brake in accordance with the size of the braking force that is required for the flywheels.
Finally, this device also has the same disadvantage that the braking force is not yet available at the beginning of the braking process, but rather has to be built up gradually as the spring tension increases.
The invention is based on the object of creating a braking device on rewinding machines, which enables rapid braking of the roll with the lowest possible structural effort while largely avoiding additional flywheels, the braking force also being able to be adapted to the moment of inertia of the roll in the simplest possible way so that a short braking distance is achieved without damaging the roll or loosening the roll from its carrier.
This object is achieved in the initially mentioned braking device according to the invention on a winding machine in that the rotating part of the locking mechanism is connected to the winding axis e via a friction brake that is pretensioned according to the braking torque. By having this friction brake before. is tensioned, the entire braking force is available immediately at the start of the braking process, so that the braking process is initiated in full and the braking distance is thus shorter with the same maximum deceleration.
The preload of this friction brake can very easily be chosen so that it corresponds to the required braking torque, which results on the one hand from the flywheel to be braked, but on the other hand also from the adhesion of the roll on the roll carrier.
The invention is explained in more detail using the exemplary embodiment of a specialist winding machine shown in the figures. 1 shows schematically the upper part of a shed winder in section along line I-I in FIG. 2 and FIG. 2 shows a front view with a section through the braking device along line II-II in FIG. 1.
In the frame 1, the winding bobbin 2 is pivotably mounted on an axis 4 via the pivot arm 3.
The winding bobbin 2 is driven in a manner known per se from the thread guide drum 7 by surface friction.
In the course of the thread F one can still see the thread monitor 8, which closes the contacts 8a, 8b when the thread F breaks, so that the magnet 9 is excited by the power source 10, pulls its armature 9a and thus the pawl 10 clockwise swivels. This releases the arms 11, which carry the plate 12 at their upper end and pivot counterclockwise around the axis 14 under the influence of the spring 13, so that the plate 12 moves into the position shown in dotted lines and the take-up bobbin 2 from the thread guide drum 7 is lifted off in a known manner.
The plate 11 acts in a manner known per se braking on the package 2 and at the same time lifts the thread F from the grooves of the thread guide drum 7 out.
Since the take-up bobbin 2 may rest only lightly on the plate 12 to avoid damage to the surface of the run-up. To avoid reel, the winding axle 6 is stranded with a braking device consisting of a ratchet, which in this case is designed as a ratchet lock with the ratchet wheel 15 and the ratchet 16. The ratchet wheel 15 is rotatably mounted on the winding axis 6, and the pawl 16 is mounted pivotably about the shaft 17 mounted in a stationary manner on the arm 3. During the winding process, the pawl 16 is raised so far under the action of the spring 18 that it is not in engagement with the ratchet wheel 15.
When the thread monitor 8 responds, however, at the same time as the magnet 9, the magnet 19 is also excited, the armature 19a of which swivels the pawl 16 counterclockwise about the axis 17 so that the pawl 16 engages the ratchet wheel 15 and a further rotation of this ratchet wheel in Direction of arrow A prevents.
The ratchet 15 is with the winding axis. 6 connected via the friction brake 20, which correspond by means of the adjusting screw 21. d is preloaded with the braking torque to be applied. As soon as the ratchet wheel 15 is prevented from rotating by the pawl 16, the rotational movement of the winding axis 6 is suddenly decelerated, in accordance with the selected bias of the brake 10. This bias of the brake 20 can be set so that it does The braking torque to be applied remains below the static friction of the winding reel 2 on the bobbin case 5, so that a loosening of the winding 2 from its case 5 is avoided.
It is also possible, instead of the ratchet lock shown, to use another lock known per se, the effectiveness of the device being greater, the faster the locking action of the lock becomes effective.
As already mentioned, the present device can be used in winding machines of the most varied of types, for example also in beam machines for thread or web-shaped material. However, its use on winding machines is particularly advantageous, since it can be kept very small structurally and still offers very rapid braking the take-up bobbin, which in turn is particularly important for specialist machines.
