Tracked vehicle The invention relates to a tracked vehicle which is particularly suitable as a snow vehicle for grooming slopes and has good driving properties due to the advantageous design of the chassis.
According to the invention, the caterpillar vehicle has at least three crawler tracks, each pivotable about an axis transverse to the direction of travel, which together leave a substantially closed lane. The crawler tracks can be designed in such a way that the radius of the drive wheel of each chassis is approximately equal to the ground clearance of the pivot axis of the same.
Further details of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, in which an exemplary embodiment of the tracked vehicle according to the invention is shown. 1 shows a side view and FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the same.
The caterpillar vehicle shown rests on three Rau penfahrwerk 1, 2 and 3, of which the front 1 in the middle and the other two at the rear end of the vehicle on both sides of the same is arranged and a transverse to the direction of travel, possibly sprung pin 4 are pivoted. Each of the three crawler tracks 1, 2 and 3 has two of a common crawler belt 7 to closed pneumatic wheels 5 and a drive gear 6, the radius r of which was approximately equal to the Bodenab stand a of the pivot pin 4 is.
This construction ensures that the drive and / or braking torque is introduced from the vehicle in such a way that the positive or negative tilting moments of the chassis around the pivot axis are approximately compensated for in the chassis by the braking or drive torque. This also has the advantage that, even with a short crawler chassis, the ground pressure is distributed in a rectangular manner independently of the drive force and is therefore a minimum.
In addition, when driving uphill and in the same way when starting and braking the vehicle, the front and rear caterpillars are unevenly loaded, which creates a tipping moment. To counter this deficiency, the front is preferably provided with a device for changing the specific soil pressure.
The rear wheel 5 of the front crawler chassis 1 is under the influence of a device, e.g. B. a pneumatic or hydropneumatic on and off ble spring 8, through which the front caterpillar work on inclines can be additionally loaded to compensate for the otherwise occurring relief with the resulting lower impression depth than in the rear caterpillars. The compensation will only take place on the rear wheel 5, so that there is a load or impression depth falling towards the front wheel towards a triangle, but the rear wheel leaves a track that is the same depth as the tracks of the rear chassis .
The distance between the rear bogies 2, 3 voneinan is not greater than the width of the front Fahrwer kes 1, so that the bogies leave a closed lane.
Of course, the specific ground pressure can also be achieved by other means by mechanical, pneumatic or hydropneumatic means, e.g. B. caused by a piston. Furthermore, the axis of the drive wheel 6 can coincide with the pivot axis 4 and, if necessary, be set at the height of the axes of the wheels 5. Of course, in all cases the number of wheels and crawler tracks is left to the discretion of the designer. Finally, devices for adjusting the track width of the crawler tracks can also be provided.
