Pour mieux faire comprendre l'objet de l'invention, on va en décrire divers modes de réalisation pris comme exemples et représentés sur le dessin annexé, sur lequel les fig. 1 et 2, se raccordant suivant AB, A'B', repré sentent une coupe axiale du premier dispositif ; la fig. 3 est une coupe selon 111-11I de la fig. 1 ; la fig. 4 est une coupe selon IV-IV de la fig. 2 ; la fig. 5 est une coupe selon V-V de la fig. 2 ;

Rock consolidating and anchoring device We already know the rock anchoring method using very long holes drilled substantially perpendicular to the rock wall, which consists in threading a bar through the hole. central metal surrounded by a number of metal wires, these wires being tightly stretched between a fastening piece resting on the end of the bar corresponding to the bottom of the hole and another fastening piece placed in the vicinity of the entrance to the hole and inside which the said bar passes, these wires being suitably spaced apart, if necessary by means of spacers,
so as not to be in contact with either the borehole wall or the central bar, then cement mortar is injected into the space between the central bar and the borehole wall, the tension of the wires being maintained until the setting and hardening of the mortar is complete, finally dismantling and removing the central bar and the accessory parts that can be recovered.
The present invention relates to a device for consolidating and anchoring rock by means of a sheet of steel wires placed at the periphery of a central bar and stretched between two attachment devices, the tension being transmitted by the central bar, which is removed after injection and hardening of the concrete. According to the invention, this device is characterized in that the wires are braced with the aid of two steel wires wound in a helix and placed one inside the sheet and the other outside. of this tablecloth.
Preferably, the device for hooking the end of the wires located on the side of the entry of the hole by wedging is placed on the outside and consists of two concentric cones, the outer cone being split diametrically and removable to allow recovery. the hooking device after the concrete has hardened. A wedge with a U-shaped cross section, the two branches of which pass on either side of the push rod of the cylinder, can be arranged so as to block the central bar to allow the recovery of the cylinder before the hardening of the cylinder. concrete.
The layer of wires can be made up of few wires of relatively large diameter, each end of which is threaded and fixed in the hooking parts by screwing, or else welded directly to the wall of a central metal tube closed to the 'rear by a plug, the device for attaching the cylinder to the outer end of the wires being in the latter case constituted by sections of bar welded to the wires and hanging by rotation in the teeth with which the part is fitted. hooking up the cylinder.
To better understand the object of the invention, we will describe various embodiments taken as examples and shown in the accompanying drawing, in which FIGS. 1 and 2, connecting along AB, A'B ', represent an axial section of the first device; fig. 3 is a section on 111-11I of FIG. 1; fig. 4 is a section along IV-IV of FIG. 2; fig. 5 is a section along V-V of FIG. 2;
fig. 6 is a partial view corresponding to FIG. 1 in the case of an execution variant for inclined holes; fig. 7 is an axial section of a second embodiment; fig. 8 is a corresponding partial axial section in the case of an alternative embodiment; fig. 9 is a section on IX-IX of FIG. 7; fig. 10 is a section along X-X of FIG. 7;
fig. 11 is a partial axial section of a third embodiment; fig. 12 is a cross section along XII-XII of FIG. 11; fig. 13 is a section along XIII-XIII of FIG. 11, and fig. 14 is a section along XIV-XIV of FIG. 11.
We know that the essential idea of the process mentioned above consists in carrying out a continuous anchoring by creating in the hole drilled in the rock a pre-stressed concrete rod adhering to the rock over its entire length, the prestressing being carried out by the setting in tension of the concrete reinforcement by means of a central bar transmitting the thrust of a jack, this bar then being recovered after hardening of the concrete.
In the case where a prestressing of the order of 50 to 100 tonnes is to be achieved, it is preferable to use the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 6, in which the reinforcement is still formed by a sheet of son 1 made of high strength steel. These wires are distributed all around the central bar 2 and, in order for them to be suitably embedded in the concrete 3, it is necessary to brace them in order to prevent them from coming into contact with the bar 2 as well as the wall 4 of the hole drilled in the rock. To constitute these spacers, use is made of a steel wire 5 wound in a helix and arranged around the central bar 2, preferably interposing between them a tube 6 of cardboard or plastic material to facilitate demolding.
Around the layer of wires 1, a second wire 7 is placed which is also wound in a helix, the outer diameter of this helix allowing it to pass with play inside the hole 4.
On the side corresponding to the bottom of the hole, the hooking of the wires 1 is made between a part 8 with a conical bore and a conical part 9 receiving the thrust of the central bar 2. At the other end, the anchoring wires 1 pitch simply feels in holes made in a ron delle 10 through which passes the central bar. To facilitate handling and installation, the peripheral helical wire 7 is advantageously welded by its end 11 to the part with a conical bore 8 (FIG. 1) and by its end 12 to the washer 10 (FIG. 2).
The hooking of the son 1 on the side of the entry of the hole is therefore done outside. that is to say beyond the washer 10. This attachment is made by means of a conical central part 13 comprising a bore 14 for the passage of the bar 2 and, at its end corresponding to the small base , a collar 15 provided with notches through which the son pass. Around this conical part 13 is placed another part made in two parts 16a and 16b fitting together in a diametral plane and having an internal coating coni that of hardened steel also made in two parts 17a and 17b.
This set of parts 16a and 16b also comprises a conical outer surface on which are fitted two conical rings 18 and 19, the latter comprising threaded lugs 20 in which screws 21 come to rest on the wall. rock.
The set of parts 16a and 16b is extended towards the rear by a cylindrical part also in two parts 22a and 22b comprising sail lies in the form of a sector 23 which allow it to become rusty by a quarter turn of rotation in a part 24 also comprising bosses 25 in the form of a sector, as shown in FIG. 5, the latter part being integral with the jack 26, the rod 27 of which acts on the end of the central bar by the intermediary of a support washer 28 (see FIG. 2).
The cylindrical part 22a and .22b further comprises windows 29 and 30 allowing the passage of a wedge 31 which has a U-shaped section, as shown in FIG. 5, and the two branches 32 of which pass through windows 29 and 30. on either side of the central bar 2, coming to rest on the right side of FIG. 2 in the bottom of windows 29 and 30 and on the left side on the support washer 28.
The device being assembled beforehand and placed in partial tension, it is introduced into the hole drilled in the rock, then it is put in tension by acting on the jack 26. After having injected the concrete 3, the wedge 31 is placed that l 'one pushes in so as to take the thrust, then the thrust of the jack is released and it is withdrawn by unlocking the part 24 of the assembly 22a and 22b by rotating a quarter turn.
After complete hardening of the concrete, the wedge 31 is removed as well as the washer 28 and the rings 18 and 19 are brought closer to the wall after removal of the screws 21, which allows the parts 16a and 16b to be removed separately. It then becomes easy to also remove the conical part 13 as well as the central bar 2.
It can be seen that the whole of the anchoring device on the side of the entry of the hole is entirely recovered, with the exception of the single washer 10. The wires 1 protruding to the outside can be cut or folded back towards Wall. or can be used if necessary. The only consumable part of the device is therefore constituted by the set of wires 1, of the spirals 5 and 7. of the tube 6. of the end fixing parts 8 and 9 as well as the washer 10, this set. as we have seen, being able to be handled and delivered ready-made thanks to the welding of the ends 11 and 12 of the spiral 7. Moreover, the jack is only immobilized during the casting of the concrete, while the rest of the parts corresponding to the external hooking are only immobilized during the hardening of the concrete.
As an improvement, when it is desired to make anchors in upwardly inclined holes, to prevent the entire device from escaping from the hole. in particular at the time of the injection of concrete, it is possible to use, as shown in fig. 6, an auxiliary anchor of known type consisting of conical sectors 33 fitting together on the conical outer surface 34 with which the part 8 is advantageously provided, these sectors being joined by a rubber coating 35 covering a wooden filling 36. , which allows the whole device to be pushed freely into the hole, which automatically gets stuck in the bottom and cannot escape.
It is easy to see that this auxiliary anchoring is only used temporarily during the production of the real anchoring and only has to resist the weight of the assembly.
The implementation of this device consequently makes it possible to produce anchors which are extremely resistant and relatively economical.
However, in the event that all of the strength provided by the web of high strength yarns is not needed, particularly when only a pre-stress of between 20 and 50 tonnes is required , one can use one of the even more simplified embodiments shown in FIGS. 7 to 14.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 7 to 10, we use son 1 always arranged in a sheet around the central bar but at the same time larger but less numerous. These wires or rods 1 are then provided with a thread 37 and 38 at each of their ends. The end fixing parts are then replaced in the bottom of the hole by a cylindrical part 39 provided with holes for the passage of the wires 1, a series of nuts 40 being screwed onto the threaded ends 37. These nuts can advantageously comprise a truncated portion 41 shown in FIG. 9, in order to reduce the size and consequently the diameter of the hole 4 drilled in the rock.
The part 39 also includes a centering 42 in which the central bar 2 rests.
At the other end, on the side of the entrance to the hole. the wires or rods 1 are screwed directly into a part 43 provided with threaded holes. This part 43 comprises bosses 44 in the form of sectors to allow the attachment of a part 45 in a single part provided with wise bos 46 also in the form of sectors. The cylindrical part 47 of this part 45 comprises the windows 29 and 30 previously included in all of the parts 16a and 16b and also ends in bosses 23 in the form of sectors hooking into the part 24 which is integral with the body of the cylinder. cylinder, as before.
The device is completed, like the previous one. by steel wire spirals 5 and 7 serving as spacers and by a tube 6, preferably metallic. surrounding the bar 2 to allow the extraction of this bar. As a variant, the part 43 can be provided with smooth holes instead of threaded holes, the threaded parts of the rods 1 then being fixed by nuts 48 screwed on the outside, as shown in FIG. 8. This dis position then makes it possible to recover, after hardening of the concrete, not only the part 45 but also the part 43 after unscrewing the nuts 48.
To facilitate the leaktight connection of the part 43 with the rock wall, a rubber or plastic lining 49 can be placed in which the slightly conical end of the part 43 is fitted, this jamming possibly being sufficient to keep the whole device even in upward sloping holes.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 11 to 14, we still use a layer of wires 1 relatively large and few in number and a metal tube 6 surrounding the bar 2, but in this embodiment this metal tube preferably has thicker walls and the rods 1 are attached to each one. of their ends directly on these walls by welding. The end of the tube 6 corresponding to the bottom of the hole is simply plugged by a plug 50, screwed or welded, on which the end of the bar 2 rests.
The internal spiral 5 can then advantageously be omitted or, if it is desired to maintain it, it suffices to add tubular sleeves of suitable thickness welded to each end of the tube 6.
The assembly of the tube 6 and the bars 1 passes through a rubber or plastic plug 51 which connects in a sealed manner to the entry of the hole and, to allow the attachment of the part 45 similar to the previous one, welding is carried out on each of the outer ends of the rods 1, as shown in FIG. 14, sections of cylindrical bars 52, the part 43 comprising instead of the two sectors 46 preceding teeth a set of six teeth 46a between which all of the parts 52 can pass. The locking is then obtained in this case by one twelfth of a turn.
The assembly shown in solid lines in FIG. It is therefore irrecoverable but extremely economical. When tensioning under the effect of the jack, the tube 6 is in this case stretched at the same time as the bars 1. This does not present a major drawback but can be avoided by transversely cutting this tube into two parts so that only wires 1 are under tension.
