Device for continuous hydropneumatic conveyance of dusty substances
The invention relates to a device for the continuous hydropneumatic conveyance of dust-like substances, with a container with a dust inlet nozzle and a compressed air line.
Various devices for conveying dust-like media are known, the disadvantages of which are that, on the one hand, the energy expenditure and the water requirement are very high and, on the other hand, the conveyance cannot be continuous.
The device according to the invention eliminates these disadvantages in that a feed container is connected upstream of the container and a pipe is led out of the container, which opens into a remote conveying line acted upon by pressure fluid, and that the feed container has an inlet connection and a blow-off pipe and is connected to the container by a pressure equalization line and is connected to the compressed air line by a pipeline, wherein shut-off devices are arranged in the inlet connection of the container or the feed container, as well as in the compensation line, in the pipeline and in the blow-off pipe, which have control elements for controlling the sequence of operations.
With the device according to the invention, the dust-like medium can be conveyed continuously over great distances with little expenditure of energy. The invention enables a constant dust concentration in the long-distance conveying line and a constant pressure in the container and thereby prevents water from flowing back from the hydraulic part in the pneumatic part.
The invention is explained in more detail with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing.
A compressed air line 24, which leads to an air compressor 9, connects to the lower part of the closed pressure-resistant container 1. A manually operated valve 17 is installed in the compressed air line 24. The feed container 4 is connected to the dust inlet connection 20 on the upper part of the container 1. This is connected to the reservoir 8 through the inlet connection 19. A bell valve 6 is installed in the dust inlet nozzle 20 and a bell valve 7 is installed in the inlet nozzle 19. The mentioned valves 17 and 7 are controlled automatically. The feed container 4 is connected to the compressed air line 24 through the pipeline 13 and to the container 1 through the equalizing line 14. A valve 16 and 25 is switched on in each of the pipes 13 and 14.
A blow-off pipe 15 with a built-in automatic valve 21 is located on the upper part of the feed container 4.
An air-permeable plate 2 is installed in the lower part of the container. One end 22 of a tube 3 opening into container 1 protrudes directly above this plate, the other end 23 of the same tube 3 opens into a long-distance delivery line 12 outside of the container 1. The long-distance delivery line 12 is connected to a water pump 10 by the pressure line 11. In tube 3, a manually operated diaphragm valve 18 is switched on.
The device according to the invention works as follows:
The container 1 is filled with dust up to level A. The water pump 10 is switched on and so water flows through the pressure line 11 and the remote delivery line 12. Accordingly, the air compressor 9 is put into operation and the manually operated valve 17 connected to the compressed air line 24 is opened. Since the bell valve 6 and the diaphragm valve 18 are in the closed state, the container 1 is filled with air and the air flowing through the plate 2 mixes with the dust in the container 1. Meanwhile, the bell valve 7 of the feed container 4 is open, so the same fills from the container 8 through the inlet nozzle 19 with dust.
The valves 16 and 25 in the pipeline 13 and 14 are closed and the valve 21 in the blow-off pipe 15 is open.
If the size of the dust-air mixture pressure in the container 1 reaches the pressure prevailing at point P of the long-distance conveyor line 12, or if the dust-air mixture pressure is greater than the pressure at point P, the manually operated valve 18 is opened and the dust is air -Mixture flows from the container 1 into the long-distance conveyor line 12. The manually operated valves 17 and 18 then always remain open.
If the dust level in the container 1 drops to level B, the bell valve 7 of the feed container 4 and the valve 21 in the blow-off pipe 15 close, while the valve 16 in the pipeline 13 opens. This makes the pressure in the feed container 4 and container 1 the same. Accordingly, the valves 6 and 25 open, whereby the dust flows from the feed container 4 into the container 1 and fills the latter up to the original level A. This ensures that the dust-air mixture is continuously conveyed.
The activation of the processes is controlled with a level switch. All valves switched on in the device are operated automatically, with the exception of valves 17, 18 which are manually operated.
