Il est d'usage courant, lorsqu'une personne se livre à certains travaux culinaires, de disposer à proximité du lieu d'exécution une assiette ou une soucoupe afin de pouvoir poser, entre chaque utilisation, l'ustensile em ployé (cuillère. spatule, fourchette, etc.) de manière que la matière plus ou moins liquide dont reste enduit cet ustensile ne se répande pas malencontreusement.
La présente invention a pour but de supprimer cet inconvénient. L'ustensile faisant l'objet de l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un manche agencé de manière que l'ustensile reste en position verticale stable quand il est posé sur la face d'extrémité du man che.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, deux formes d'exécution de l'ustensile objet de l'invention la fig. 1 est une vue de la première forme d'exécu tion, et la fig. 2 est une vue partielle de la seconde forme d'exécution.
L'ustensile représenté à la fig. 1 comprend une spa tule 1 et un manche 2. Une saillie 3 en forme de cuvet te est destinée à retenir des matières culinaires qui peu vent s'écouler le long du manche. La stabilité de l'us tensile en position verticale est assurée par la forme donnée à l'extrémité du manche, sur laquelle il est appelé à reposer. Cette extrémité comporte une surface plane 4 qui peut être de forme quelconque (ronde, carrée, triangulaire, etc.). Afin d'assurer plus efficace ment cette stabilité, un trou est pratiqué dans l'extrémité du manche et une masse pesante 5 est introduite dans ce trou. La masse 5 peut être, de surcroît, un aimant.
Des évidements 6 sont ménagés dans l'épaisseur de la spatule 1, rendant possible des dépôts de matières culi naires afin de faciliter leur dégustation. Une petite éponge cylindrique 8 en forme de couronne est mon tée sur le manche 2 et constitue également une saillie pour retenir les liquides ou les sauces. Elle peut être amovible afin de faciliter son nettoyage, l'ustensile ayant la possibilité de se démonter en deux parties, vers l'in tersection de son manche et de la partie active, par exemple par vissage.
La seconde forme d'exécution (fig. 2) comprend plusieurs saillies 7 en forme de civette destinées à rete nir la matière culinaire. Par rapport à la première for me d'exécution, ces saillies multiples ont l'avantage de recueillir une quantité de matière identique sans présen ter un volume de débordement aussi important.
