Electric hand riveting device The invention relates to an electric hand riveting device for setting blind rivets.
There are known devices for setting blind rivets which are pneumatically or hydraulically operated by hand. Hand riveting tools are very detrimental in continuous use, because the operation with one each. force to be applied by hand takes place, which is very exhausting for an operator. Pneumatic or pneumatic-hydraulic combined devices have the disadvantage that compressed air is not always available.
The invention has for its object to provide an elec trically operated handnet device for setting blind rivets.
This consists in that the drive is carried out by an electric motor via a reduction gear on a gear or a worm wheel, which has an uninterrupted tooth sequence, which causes the automatic stopping of a connecting rod carrying the chuck mechanism in the zero position, which is arranged eccentrically on the gear wheel or the worm wheel .
Further advantages and possible applications of the invention emerge from the following description in conjunction with the accompanying drawing of an exemplary embodiment.
1 shows a sectional view of an embodiment example of the invention, FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 shows a plan view of the grooved disk.
The electric hand riveting tool according to the illustrated embodiment is driven by an electric motor 17 via the reduction gear 16 on the worm wheel 21, which is attached to the pinion shaft 22. The connection between the reduction gear 16 and the worm wheel 21 is provided by a worm 18.
The sequence of teeth on gear 5 is interrupted. When the motor is switched on, the Ritzet 11 rotates empty until the trigger 13 is pressed and via the pin 20 on the slide F, r 12 on the grooved disk 7 screwed on the axis of the gear 5, the gear 5 releases. The gear 5 is set in rotation by the pulling compound 19, whereby the tooth gap 23 on the gear. 5 is overcome.
The scoring 11 then engages in the teeth of the gear 5 located behind the tooth gap. Then the gear makes one revolution until the tooth gap lies opposite the scratch 11 again and the gear 5 releases. The gearwheel 5 remains standing while the scoring 11 continues to rotate. At the same time, the gear 5 is locked by the grooved washer in connection with the pin 20 located on the slide 12 in this initial position.
When the gearwheel 5 rotates, the connecting rod 8, which is fastened eccentrically on the gearwheel 5 by means of a bolt 6, executes a pulling and pushing movement. The connecting rod 8 is connected by the bolt 9 to the chuck mechanism 10, which will not be described in detail since it is well known.
When the connecting rod is pulled, the blind rivet is riveted. When the pressure is moved, the chuck mechanism is opened and the torn off rivet shaft is ejected.
In the above-described operation of the device, the permanent switch 25 is switched on, d. H. the motor runs continuously and a riveting process is triggered and completed by activating the trigger 13. This working method is recommended when riveting on the assembly line.
Should z. B. Blind rivets. In poorly accessible places or are set in horizontal planes, then switch 25 is turned off and the blind rivet to be riveted leads into the mouthpiece of the device. By operating the trigger 13, the gear 5 is released via the pin 20 on the slide 12 and the grooved washer 7, whereby the first tooth behind the tooth gap on a tooth: the pinion 11 comes to rest.
This small rotary movement of the gearwheel 5 already causes a correspondingly small pulling movement of the feed mechanism. The chuck jaws are already closing, to the extent that the rivet mandrel of the binding rivet is gripped and also held in this position.
If the trigger 13 is pressed further, a switch 15 is actuated, which causes the electric motor to start. From Fig. 3, the construction of the grooved disc 7 can be seen. The first paragraph determines the stop position of the rotational movement of the gear 5. The second paragraph determines the ge rings BLwegung for clamping the blind rivets.
The trigger 12 is held in the actuating position of the switch 15 by means of the slide 12 in connection with the grooved disk 7 until a riveting process has been completed, ie. H. . The gear 5 has made a turn.
After this rotation, the trigger lever 13 returns to its starting position. At the same time, the switch 15 also returns to its starting position, whereby the electrical current for driving the electric motor is interrupted and the motor thus comes to a standstill.
The drive mechanism of the device is accommodated in a housing 1, while the motor 17 is protected by a housing 2. The bearing 26 of the gear 5 is reinforced by a rib 3. The pinion shaft 22 is superimposed in a bracket 4 above the gear 5 ge.
The trigger lever 13 can expediently be spring-loaded by a spring 14.
The present invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiment. For example, a worm wheel, which is driven by a worm and has a tooth gap like the toothed wheel 5, can also be inserted on the side of the gear 5.
The device according to the invention remedies a long-standing need in the blind rivet processing industry. As is well known, electrical sockets are available everywhere, in contrast to compressed air connections.
The invention makes it possible for the first time to be able to blind rivets in places such as construction sites, workshops and even factories without having to rely on compressed air. The device itself is portable and practical to handle like a standard hand drill. Due to: the constructive arrangement the device can be used comfortably.
