Method and molding machine for producing boxless molds The invention relates to a method and a molding machine for producing boxless molds.
The implementation of such methods and the mechanization of such molding machines have so far been achieved with a large number of devices which each carry out the various operations.
For example, the mold, upper and lower parts are produced separately on one molding machine each, which requires two matching models and additional turning, covering and setting devices. Molding machines are also known in which the mold, upper and lower parts are produced in one operation using a model plate equipped on both sides. In the mechanization of these molding machines, the turning device, which is difficult to accommodate in terms of design, is sometimes dispensed with, so that when the sand is compacted, the model is pressed into the sand of the lower box from above.
This method is therefore only suitable for flat and simple models. In another type of this molding machine, after the lower box has been filled, a plate is placed and turned. To do this, however, both halves of the molding box must be clamped to the model and the plate to the lower box, which is then done by turning them by hand. This method eliminates the disadvantage of only being able to mold simple models. To take out the model, to separate the molding boxes from the mold, to remove the finished mold from the machine and, last but not least, to prepare the machine for the next mold, a lot of skilled hand movements are required, which up to now could only be mechanized very inadequately.
The invention was based on the object to drive a Ver and to find a molding machine which allow the disadvantages mentioned to be avoided. For this purpose, the method according to the invention is characterized in that first the lower box of the molding machine is on top and is filled with sand and, after placing a grate plate, both the molding box halves with an intermediate model plate and the grate plate are clamped together on two opposite sides by means of clamps will. This procedure gives the possibility to be able to perfectly cast even difficult models.
In the following, the method according to the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, which shows a molding machine, which is also an object of the invention, for performing the method. 1, 2, 4, 5 and 8 show the molding machine, seen from the operating side and partly in section, in different work situations, FIG. 3 shows a side view of the molding machine, FIG. 6 shows the molding box halves in a plan view, FIG 7 shows a vertical section through a hinge corner of the molding box.
To produce a box-free form, it is assumed that suitable control elements trigger the operations of the molding machine and that devices (not shown) always refill the sand container located above the molding machine with a precisely dosed amount of sand after each emptying.
In Fig. 1, the machine stand 1 has a vibrating table 2, whereupon the molding box halves 3 and 4 with intermediate model plate 5, centered with guide pins 6 and 7, rest. By alternately applying a lock cylinder 10, the lock of a sand container 8 is briefly opened, where the sand falls into the molding box half 4 and is compacted by shaking movements of the vibrating table 2.
Thereafter, according to FIG. 2, a grate plate 11 is placed and a clamping bracket 12 is moved in the direction of arrow 13 and a clamping bracket 14 in the direction of arrow 15. As a result, the pins 16, 17, 18 and 19 penetrate into corresponding bores in the molding box halves 3 and 4. In addition, the clamp straps 12 and 14 thereby overlap the grate plate 11. In this way, the molding box halves 3 and 4, the intermediate Mo dellplatte 5 and the grate plate 11 are clamped together ver. The clamping brackets 12 and 13 are also rotatably mounted with their axes 20 and 21 in the side plates 22 and 23. Side plate 22 hangs on the piston rod 24 of the lifting cylinder 25 and side plate 23 hangs on the piston rod 26 of the lifting cylinder 27.
The side plates 22 and 23 are according to FIG. 3 via a lever system consisting of the transverse shaft 28, the levers 29 and 30, also connected to one another, so that they are always at the same height. By means of lifting cylinders 25 and 27, the side plates 22 and 23 are moved upwards. In the upper end position who the clamps 12 and 14 and thus the clamped mold box halves 3 and 4, the pattern plate 5 and the grate plate 11 turned around the axes 20 and 21 by 180 and then lowered back onto the vibrating table 2. The molding box half 3, which is now at the top, is now filled with sand in the same way as before the molding box half 4.
The press device is accommodated in the press head 32. According to FIG. 3, the press head 32 is moved into the press position by means of a crank drive 33 in the direction of the arrow 34. The pressing takes place according to FIG. 4 by pressing the pressing plate 35 into the molding box half 3, the grate plate 11 also pressing into the molding box half 4.
The sand is thus compacted in the molding box halves 3 and 4, and the press head 32 then moves back into its starting position according to FIG. Now the clamping bracket 12 moves in the direction of arrow 15 and the clamping bracket 14 back in the direction of arrow 13, and then, turned back again by 180, the clamping brackets 12 and 14 again take their starting position according to FIG. According to FIG. 5, the side plate 22 is equipped with lift-off pins 36, 37, 38 and 39 which can be extended in the direction of the arrow 15 in the direction of the arrow 13 and the side plate 23.
The lifting pins 36 and 37 act on corresponding surfaces @ on the mold box half 3, the lifting pins 38 and 39 on those of the model plate 5. When the side plates 22 and 23 move up this time, the lifting pins 36 and 37 first separate the Mold box half 3 from the model plate 5 and in the further course of the upward movement, the lifting pins 38 and 39 separate the Mo dellplatte 5 from the molding box half 4. The situation now corresponds to FIG. 5, and the model plate can now be removed by means not shown.
Thereafter, the molding box half 3 is lowered onto the molding box half 4, so that the mold is covered. The lifting pins 35 and 38 now move back in the direction of arrow 15, the lifting pins 37 and 39 in the direction of arrow 13.
The molding box halves 3 and 4 are designed according to FIGS. 6 and 7 so that the internal dimensions can be increased for stripping of the finished mold. For this purpose the molding box halves 3 and 4 are provided with hinges 44 and 45 at two diagonally opposite corner points, the hinge bolts 46 and 47 of which have eccentric bearing points. Fig. 7 shows the section through a hinge point in the direction of arrow 51 with the rotary key 48, which is part of the molding machine.
If the rotary key 48 is turned by 180 by an unspecified drive, the rotary movement is also transferred to the hinge pins 46 and 47. The effect of the eccentric bearings causes the rigid walls of the molding box halves 3 and 4 to move in the directions of the arrows 49 and 50. As a result, the inside dimensions of the molding box halves 3 and 4 are enlarged, and these can now be stripped off from the molds 42 and 43 as shown in FIG.
This is done by advancing the lifting pin 40 in the direction of arrow 13 and the lifting pin 41 in the direction of arrow 15 and by again moving up the side plates 22 and 23, the molding box halves 3 and 4 are also lifted, since the lifting pins 40 and 41 act on corresponding surfaces of the molding box half 4 . The finished form 42 and 43 is now on the grate plate 11 and can be withdrawn as shown in FIG.
The molding box halves who are then lowered back onto the vibrating table 2 and encrypted again according to FIGS. 6 and 7 in their starting position. The lifting pin 40 moves according to FIG. 8 in the direction of arrow 15 and the lifting pin 41 in the direction of arrow 13 back, while according to FIG. 5, the lifting pins 36 and 38 in the direction of arrow 13 and the lifting pins 37 and 39 advance in the direction of arrow 15.
By moving up the side plates 22 and 23 again, the upper mold box half 3 is lifted abge, and the pattern plate 5 can now be inserted again according to FIG. By subsequently moving down the side plates 22 and 23, the pattern plate 5 and the molding box half 3 are deposited on the molding box half 4, so that the starting position according to FIG. 1 is reached again.
However, the molding box halves 3 and 4 have been mixed up, since both have the same design, the molding machine is ready for the next work cycle.
