Soil compacting device The subject of the present invention is a mobile res soil compacting device consisting of a support frame and several at least one end, viewed in the direction of travel on the support frame steerable and paral lel juxtaposed wheels.
In road construction, the compaction and processing of soft ground such. B. clay, Hu mus, gravel, etc. hedgehog rollers, which can be attached to a towing vehicle, are used. To compress hard surfaces, compressors are used with several pneumatic wheels offset from one another in the direction of travel, whereby such devices are usually not self-driving.
In poor soil conditions, it is common to stabilize the soil by bringing white lime into the soil with a tiller, then compacting it with a hedgehog roller and smoothing it with pneumatic wheels.
With this working method, the soil must first be compacted with a hedgehog roller and then smoothed with tire wheels, where the roller must be attached to a towing vehicle according to the respective work step. Since towing vehicles with trailers on, especially in narrow road conditions, are difficult to maneuver, there were delays in the workflow, especially in the case of curvatures with the known, as a trailer from soil compaction devices.
The purpose of the present invention was to create a soil compacting device with which both a soft soil and a hard surface can be worked, and which also has good maneuverability.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that on the other end of the mentioned support frame a rocker is pivotably articulated, on which on one side of the vertical plane several wheels arranged next to each other parallel to the direction of travel and on the other side at least one hedgehog roller are rotatably mounted through its pivot axis for the purpose of bringing either the wheels or the hedgehog roller into contact with the ground.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained with the aid of the accompanying drawing, specifically showing: FIG. 1 a schematic side view and FIG. 2 a schematic floor plan showing the arrangement of the wheels and the hedgehog roller.
1 shows a support frame 1, at one end of which five pneumatic-tire wheels 2 arranged parallel to one another are articulated. Each one of the wheels 2 is rotatably mounted in a fork 3 about an axis 4.
On the fork 3 is a cylindrical bolt. 5, which is rotatably mounted in a bearing bush 6 and is supported with the end 7 opposite the fork against a yoke 8. To steer the wheels 2, an arm 9 is attached to the fork 3 and is articulated to a control rod 10. When the control rod 10 is laterally displaced, all wheels 2 are rotated about their vertical axis 5. The displacement of the control rod 10 can be followed by hy draulic, pneumatic or mechanical means not shown.
Motorized drive means 24 and various power transmission means are arranged on the support frame 1, which are used to drive or control the soil compacting device. At the steerable one; Wheels 2 opposite end of the Tragrah mens 1 is a rocker 11 aasgelenken, which is pivotable about an axis 12. On this rocker 11, two hedgehog rollers 14 connected to one another via a rigid axle 13 are rotatably mounted.
In addition, there are still parallel to the hedgehog roller axis 13 four pnebereifte wheels 15 attached to an axis 16, which men on the rocker 11 is rotatably mounted. The arrangement of the four wheels is such that they are offset from the five in front of their steerable wheels 2 and overlap with the spaces 23 between the front five wheels.
Both the hedgehog rollers and the four wheels 15 are driven via chains 17, 18 and chain wheels 19, 20, 21, with the chain wheels 19 serving as drive wheels. The inclination of the rocker can be adjusted by hydraulic means 22. Depending on the position of the piston in the pressure cylinder 22 comes, due to the inclination of the rocker 11, either the hedgehog roller 14 or the four tire wheels 15 with the ground. It goes without saying that the inclination of the rocker 11 can also be adjusted by purely mechanical or pneumatic means.
For processing a soft. At the bottom, the rocker 11 is set so that the hedgehog roller 14 rests on the ground while the four wheels 15 are lifted from it.
Through the chain drive 17, 19, 20, the entire soil compacting device can be set in motion via the hedgehog roller 14, while the direction of travel is determined by the position of the front steerable wheels 2. If the compression process is followed by a smoothing process, the piston in the pressure cylinder 22 needs to be pushed upwards so that the rear wheels 15 come into contact with the ground and the hedgehog roller 14 is lifted off.
