Drive connection with clutch and brake on eccentric presses The invention relates to a drive connection with clutch and brake on eccentric presses, in which the coupling parts connecting the flywheel to the eccentric shaft are brought into frictional connection with the flywheel and in the fer ner the between the eccentric shaft and a friction surface arranged in a housing .the brake is pressed against a corresponding housing surface by the force of a spring after the pressure is no longer applied to the clutch.
Drive connections for eccentric presses are known in which a pressure medium of a pneumatic or hydraulic type acts on a piston so that the eccentric shaft is coupled to or released from the driving flywheel via a multi-plate or friction clutch. The rapid release of the clutch is usually actuated by cylindrical screw springs which, after interruption of the pressure medium flow, act in opposite directions on a brake and brake the eccentric shaft. This process is repeated in rapid succession when the presses work. A quick and safe mode of operation of the clutch and brake is therefore a prerequisite for a trouble-free workflow.
In the known Solu conditions in which the clutch is actuated with a pressurized piston, the piston often tends to jam and gives rise to malfunctions and interruptions in operation, since sealing, guidance and storage of the piston are difficult to control. The Füh tion, sealing and storage requires a design with a large axial extension and this in turn a correspondingly longer version of the eccentric shaft, which must be reinforced because the flywheel is moving away from the bearing by further.
Another disadvantage of the known couplings is the use of cylindrical screw springs to generate the contact pressure for the brake, which counteracts the contact force for the clutch. These clutches have to be designed larger, since the required contact pressure for the clutches is reduced by the progressively increasing counterforce, which is not agile for compressing the cylindrical coil springs.
With the invention, these deficiencies are largely eliminated and the function of a drive connection with clutch and brake on eccentric presses is significantly improved. In addition, a smaller, more compact design with better storage is achieved with the same performance.
According to the invention, the drive connection with clutch and brake of the type mentioned at the beginning is characterized in that a pressure-loaded diaphragm clutch and a brake actuated by the contact force of a plate spring are provided.
This combination of a pressure medium or pneumatically or hydraulically operated diaphragm clutch and a brake operated by the contact force of a Tel lerfeder ideally creates a simple, axially compact drive connection with clutch and brake on eccentric presses, the structural parts of which are clearly arranged The advantage is that the spring characteristics of the disc spring can be adapted to the particular conditions.
The object of the invention is shown in the drawing in two exemplary embodiments. 1 shows an axial section through the drive connection according to the invention with clutch and brake, the upper part of FIG. 1 representing the drive connection in the depressurized state and with an active brake, while the lower part of FIG. 1 shows the engaged clutch with a vented brake, Fig. 2 shows the disc spring in section and its characteristics,
FIG. 3, for comparison, the previously known helical spring and its characteristics in the known constructions of this type; FIG. 4 shows a further embodiment of the drive connection according to the invention. According to Fig. 1, the driving flywheel 2 is loosely rotatably mounted on the eccentric shaft 1. The eccentric shaft 1 itself is mounted in the housing 3.
The Kupp treatment body 4 is firmly keyed on the eccentric shaft 1 with a wedge 5. On .dem coupling body 4, the disks L $ or brake are rotatably but axially displaceable; they cooperate with the counter-lamellae L '$ ,, which are mounted in the part 3' flanged to the housing 3.
Correspondingly, the inner disks 24 of the clutch K are non-rotatably but axially displaceable on the clutch body 4, while the outer disks 24 'are held in the flange 2', which is connected to the flywheel 2 .
The clutch body 4 is thus the carrier of the inner brake disks L $ and the inner clutch disks 24. In the clutch body 4, the membrane 6 is also clamped by the inner clamping ring 7 and the outer clamping ring 8 and sealed to the outside. The thrust washer 9 is axially displaceable on the coupling body 4 and secured against twisting ge compared to the coupling body 4 by the safety bolt 10.
In the preferred embodiment, the thrust washer 9 has an axial, cylindrical part 9a which encloses the coupling body 4 in the shape of a cylinder and is guided or supported and sealed thereon both inside and outside.
The membrane 6 loves when not acted upon, so in the slack state directly against the ring 11 of the pressure disc 9, so that the pressure medium, such as pressure oil or compressed air, when it flows in via the inlet channel 21, 22 and acts on the membrane 6, directly on the Thrust washer 9 can act, whereby an immediate response .the clutch is guaranteed.
The ring 11 is preferably formed out as an insulating ring and protects the membrane 6 from excessive heating from the clutch side.
The pressure rings 12, 12 'are adjustably connected to the pressure disc 9. The pressure ring 12 presses the discs of the brake B against the wall of the hous ses 3, while the pressure ring 12 'presses the discs of the clutch K against the wall of the flywheel. The inner disk carrier 14 is firmly connected to the coupling body 4 by the screws 13. By means of the adjustable pressure rings 12, 12 ', the worn lamellas can be adjusted to the smallest dead game without dismantling the working clutch and brake.
The plate spring 15 is installed between the pressure disk 9 and the inner disk carrier 14; this can be precisely adjusted by the adjusting ring 16 via the bolt 17 as well as the adjusting ring screw 18 in the most favorable working area. In order to be able to make this fine adjustment without dismantling the clutch during operation, 2 openings 9 are provided in the flywheel, through which one can easily get to the adjusting ring screw.
In the pressure plate 9 with play gela a slot 20 is provided, which is designed so that the locking bolt 10 also forms the stop for the largest, permissible stroke of the membrane 6, which is thereby protected from overload and the occurrence of inadmissible tensile stresses.
The construction according to the invention is advantageously designed in such a way that the deflection of the plate spring 15 is also limited to the most favorable working range by the securing bolt 10. The pressure plate 9 is expediently sealed against the friction disks by an inner sealing ring 25 and an outer sealing ring 26 so that pressure oil or lubricant cannot reach the friction surfaces and the risk of a change in the coefficient of friction is avoided.
The inventive drive connection with clutch and brake works as follows: The pressurized oil or compressed air is introduced into the bore 21 of the eccentric shaft 1 via an automatically controlled valve in the direction of arrow I and passes through the bore 22 in the clutch body 4 into the pressure chamber 23 behind the Membrane 6. The membrane 6 is inflated as a result and presses on the pressure disk 9.
The spring force of the plate spring 15 is overcome and the pressure ring 12 is brought to bear against the inner plate 24 of the multi-plate clutch on the flywheel 2. The clutch is closed by the action of the pressure force from the membrane and the eccentric shaft 1 is connected to the flywheel 2 in a non-positive manner.
After the machine has completed its working stroke, the automatic control switches over and the pressure medium can escape in the opposite direction as indicated by arrow II. The pressure behind the membrane 6 is rapidly reduced. Under the action of the plate spring 15, the thrust washer 9 is now pressed in the opposite direction. In this way, the clutch is released and the eccentric shaft 1 is braked. Due to the rapid build-up of pressure behind the membrane 6 and the interaction with the plate spring 15, this process can be repeated periodically in quick succession.
From Fig. 2, the plate spring 15 is recognizable in section. According to the invention, this disc spring 15 is configured and clamped in such a way that it has a characteristic corresponding to FIG. Thereafter, the greatest spring force in the upper culmination area is available for the brake, and the smaller spring force in the lower culmination area is available as a counterforce to the clutch pressure.
In Fig. 3, on the other hand, the opposite and un favorable effect of the spring force when using cylindrical coil springs in known constructions is compared. The spring force increases linearly with the spring travel, i. H. When the clutch is engaged, the greatest spring force counteracts the contact pressure of the clutch. For the brake, on the other hand, only the low spring force is available, which requires larger dimensions of the clutch and brake. The inventive drive connection with clutch and brake can be designed to achieve the same effect much smaller as a result of the favorable teamwork kens of plate spring and membrane, it is simpler in structure and more economical.
4 shows a further embodiment of the clutch according to the invention, the upper half of the illustration also showing a drive connection with clutch and brake in the braking position with the clutch released and the lower half showing the same device in the coupled position with the brake released.
On the driven shaft 101, the driving flywheel 102 is freely rotatable and the coupling body 103 with the screwed-on disk carrier 104 of the coupling 105 is firmly keyed on. For the latter connec tion, a wedge 106 is provided, while that between the coupling body 103 and plate carrier 104 is carried out with screws 107. On a cylindrical extension 108 of the disk carrier 104, a pressure disc 109 is axially displaceable bar, which engages over the circumference of the piston section 111 of the Kupplungskör pers 103 with a hollow cylindrical jacket 110 and is axially displaceably mounted here.
Sealing rings 112 and 113, z. B. in a closed design and: consisting of soft, elastic material, arranged. As a result, a closed pressure chamber is formed between the facing end faces of the components 103 and 109, which via a channel 114, a shaft bore 115 and a rotary connection 116, which is only indicated schematically and a control valve (not shown) is connected to a pressure medium supply.
The pressure disk 109 is thus directly under the action of the pressure medium.
On the other side of the thrust washer 109, a plate spring 117 is arranged, which is supported against the plate carrier 104 via a retaining ring 118. The axial position of the retaining ring 118 and thus the tension of the plate spring 117 is adjustable by means of an annular screw 119, which is inserted with an external thread in a recess in the disk carrier 104 and through recesses 121 of the flywheel 102 is accessible. To transfer the axial position of the eye bolt 119 to the retaining ring 118, axially displaceable pins 120 are left in the disk carrier 104.
As a result, the plate spring 117, which pushes the pressure disc 109 to the left in the braking position when there is a drop in pressure in the channel 114, is adjustable in its most favorable working range. The area of the diaphragm spring 117 running through the characteristic curve is placed in a section with a decreasing spring force with the aforementioned adjusting device.
The jacket 110 of the slide 109 carries pressure rings 122 and 123 inserted with external threads on both sides, which actuate the clutch 105 to the flywheel 102 or the brake 124 in the corresponding end positions of the pressure disk. The inner disks of the latter, like those of the clutch 5, are axially slidably toothed with components fixed to the shaft, while the outer disks of the clutch 105 with a shoulder ring 125 of the flywheel 102 and of the brake 124 a ring attachment fixed to the housing 126 are toothed.
The following devices serve to secure the bearings and limit the stroke 109: Rotation of the pressure disc 109 relative to the shaft 101 or the coupling body 103 is prevented by a safety pin 127 which is firmly inserted into the pressure disc 109, however engages axially displaceably in a bore 128 of the coupling body 103. For the stroke limitation of the thrust washer in its right end position, the height of the retaining ring 118 in the axial direction is such that an impermissible deformation of the plate spring 117 - for example when the clutch plates have worn out - by the thrust washer contacting is excluded on the retaining ring.
