  Vorrichtung zum Aufteilen einer Kunststoffolie in schmale Streifen
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Aufteilen einer Kunststoffolie in schmale Streifen. Derartige Vorrichtungen können beispielsweise benutzt werden zum Herstellen von Garnen aus Kunststoffolien gemäss den Patenten Nr. 357 500 und 395 521.



   Wenn man Kunststoffolien durch eine Anzahl nebeneinanderstehender Messer dadurch aufteilt, dass man die Kunststoffolie mittels eines Walzenpaares durch diese Messerreihe hindurchzieht, so geschieht es nicht selten, dass sich die Kunststoffbahn in dem Bereich vor den Messern ein wenig verzieht und leichte Wellen bildet. Dadurch kann das Aufteilen in Streifen erschwert werden.



   Die Erfindung bezweckt, diese Schwierigkeiten zu verhindern.



   Gemäss der Erfindung erfolgt das dadurch, dass sowohl vor als auch hinter den Messern (gesehen in der Bewegungsrichtung der Folie) ein Walzenpaar angeordnet ist, das die Folie transportiert, wobei das Walzenpaar, das vor den Messern liegt, und somit die Folie durch die Messer hindurchzieht, eine Umfangsgeschwindigkeit besitzt, die um einige Prozent grösser ist, als die des hinteren Walzenpaares. Diese Anordnung hat sich besonders bewährt bei Vorrichtungen, bei denen die Kunststoffolie durch eine Anzahl feststehender kreisförmiger Messer aufgeteilt wird, wobei die Folie zwischen diesen Messern und einer feststehenden Unterlage hindurchgezogen wird.



   Die Zeichnung zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung.



   Eine Folie 1 aus Kunststoff, beispielsweise eine   0,04 mm    starke Folie aus Polyäthylen, wird von einem Wickel 2 durch ein Paar von Walzen 3, 4 mit einer Geschwindigkeit von   4 mimik.    abgezogen, wobei die Umfangsgeschwindigkeit dieser beiden Walzen ebenfalls 4 m/Min. beträgt. Hinter dem Walzenpaar 3, 4 liegt eine Anzahl von kreisförmigen Messern 5, die auf einer nicht drehbaren Achse 6 derart befestigt sind, dass sie sich nicht drehen können. Unterhalb der Reihe der Messer 5 liegt eine feste Unterlage 7. Die Unterlage 7 besteht beispielsweise aus einer Metallplatte 7a, auf deren ebener Oberseite eine dünne, beispielsweise 1 mm dicke Schicht 7b eines sehr elastischen Stoffes, wie Gummi, befestigt, beispielsweise aufgeklebt ist, wobei auf die Schicht 7b eine dünne Metallfolie 7c aufgeklebt ist.



  Die Unterlage 7 wird durch Federn gegen die Messer 5 gedrückt.



   Die Kunststoffolie 1 wird zwischen den Messern 5 und der von unten gegen sie gedrückten Unterlage 7 in Streifen la,   1b    usw. aufgeteilt. Ein Paar Walzen 8, 9 transportiert die Streifen mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 4,12   m/Min.    weiter. Die Umfangsgeschwindigkeit der Walzen 8, 9 ist also um 3   o/o    grösser als die der Walzen 3, 4. Der Durchmesser der Walzen 3, 4, 8, 9 kann beispielsweise 50-200 mm betragen.



   Es hat sich überraschenderweise gezeigt, dass mit dieser einfachen Anordnung zuverlässig erreicht werden kann, dass die Folie 1 im Bereich unmittelbar vor den Messern 5 völlig   gleichmässig    und glatt läuft, und dass auf diese Weise auch sehr dünne Kunststofffolien von grosser Breite, z. B. von einer Breite von mehr als   1 m    in schmale Streifen von nur wenigen Millimetern Breite störungsfrei aufgeteilt werden   könr    nen.
