Automatic testing machine for measuring grooves on rings
The invention relates to an automatic testing machine for measuring grooves on rings, in particular for ball bearings.
The precise production of the grooves on the inner and outer ring has a decisive influence on the correct mode of operation, accuracy of running and the service life of rolling bearings. The requirement for high quality of the raceways presupposes a careful examination of the rings produced, which is to be achieved through the use of the test machine according to the invention.
The testing of grooves on ball bearing rings has so far mainly been carried out using hand-held measuring instruments. This measurement is time-consuming, not very precise and places great demands on the attentiveness of the worker performing the measurement. Serious errors often occur if measurements are not carried out carefully. For these reasons, hand-held measuring instruments are being replaced by semi-automatic or automatic measuring devices which, because of their complexity and significant susceptibility to failure and also other deficiencies in rolling bearing production, have not found any major use.
With the help of the automatic testing machine according to the invention, all parameters of grooves on rolling bearings, especially ball bearings, can be tested, especially the diameter of the groove and its out-of-roundness, the distance between the groove and the reference end face of the ring to be tested and its non-parallelism with the reference face, furthermore the radial runout the groove and finally the size of the radius of curvature. the groove.
The automatic testing machine according to the invention has a magazine, tin, feed channel and a feeder device, a measuring device and a device for turning a ring to be tested and is characterized in that, while the ring is turning, either all parameters of the groove are tested simultaneously or The test of a single parameter of the groove is carried out at a single measuring point, to which it is conveyed through a prismatic support, at the measuring point in contact with a guard roller, which is controlled by a one-armed axis fixed to a frame rotatable lever is carried so that the ring is supported on two support contacts during the test,
the end face of the ring being in contact with a rotating disk rotatably arranged on a transverse arm during the test and the transverse arm being connected to a rod which can be displaced in a guide of a base plate by means of a pressure device.
One of the support contacts, which is used to check the distance between the groove and the reference face of the ring, can be arranged to be axially displaceable with respect to the ring to be tested and be provided with an air nozzle for non-contact checking of the size of the radius of the groove on the bearing ring. Furthermore, the guard roller can have a recess on the inside and run out on one side into a stepped hollow cylinder which is provided with window-like cutouts on its circumference. A light source is provided on the outside of this hollow cylinder opposite the cutouts, while on the inside a photoelectric or other similar element engages in the recess in the guard roller.
Behind the feed channel for the rings to be tested, a cleaning device can advantageously be arranged, which the test object passes before being transported to the measuring point.
The achievable performance of the automatic testing machine according to the invention is higher than that achieved with the previous manual measurement of only one single parameter. the groove on the bearing ring is achieved. It has been shown that the overall performance of the machine is more than six times higher than the performance achieved by testing by hand, apart from being far more accurate and safer to operate.
In the drawings there is an execution. An example of the test machine according to the invention is shown purely schematically, namely:
1 shows an overall arrangement of the automatic testing machine for measuring the inner rings of a ball bearing,
2 shows the feeder device in view,
3 shows a side view of the measuring device at the measuring point,
FIG. 4 shows a partial section along the line A-A of FIG. 3,
Fig. 5 is a partial section along the line B-B of Fig. 3,
6 shows a section through a detail of the measuring tool for checking the distance between the groove and the base face of the ring,
Fig.
7 a detail in section through! the guardian role.
According to FIG. 1, the rings 1 to be tested come under their own weight from a magazine through a feed channel 2, whereupon they are pushed into a prismatic base 5 by a feeder 3 which is actuated by a piston 4 of a hydraulic roller 4a are conveyed into each of the lowest ring 1 from the column in the feed channel 2 wind.
The prismatic base 5 carried by a transverse arm 8 is connected to a rod 6 which is displaced in the guide 10 of a base plate 10 by means of a piston 7 of a hydraulic roller 7a, as shown in FIG. 2, when the transverse arm 8 is displaced also the prismatic support 5 and places the ring 1 resting with one end face on the base plate 10 on two support contacts 21, 22 2 (Fig. 3), with an armed lever 11, 12 pivoted about axes 26, 29 and the Press ring 1 on.
At the same time, a guard roller 13 is also pivoted onto the ring 1, which one rotates about an axis
14a rotatable lever is carried. On the transverse arm 8 there is also arranged a spinning device for the test specimen, consisting of a spinning disk 15, on whose end face an insert 15a made of elastic material is provided.
The Durohm turntable 15 is connected to a shaft d5 of a drive motor 16. When the transverse arm 8 is displaced, the face of the insert 15a of the rotating disk 15 lies on the face of the ring. 1, which is set in rotation by the friction.
Before it arrives at the measuring point, the ring 1 must pass a cleaning device 17 located behind the feed channel 2, in which the end faces of the ring 1 are wiped off, thereby removing any contamination that has an adverse effect when the ring 1 rotates at the measuring point would.
During the measuring process, the ring 1 is located with regard to the reliable determination of the deviation of the. geometric shape of the groove must rotate by at least 360, the ring 1, as already described, is mounted on two support contacts 21, 22, of which the support contact 21 (Fig. 3) is designed as a roller and is fixed, while the other support contact 22 is displaceable in the axial direction with respect to the ring 1. The axial displacement of the support contact 22 is possible by mounting it on a parallelogram which is formed by flat springs 30, 31 according to FIG.
The support contact 22 touches the groove at two points 32, 33, as can be seen from FIG.
The position of the support contact 22 in the axial direction indicates the distance between the groove of the ring 1 and the end face through which it is supported on the base plate 10. A change in this position during one revolution of the ring 1 then indicates the non-parallelism of the groove with the face indicated. Both values are measured by an electrical contact feeler element or another suitable feeler element 34 which touches the support contact 22.
Both points of contact 32 and 33 form firm supports for measuring the size of the radius R of the groove of the ring. The size of the radius R is determined by measuring the gap Z between an air nozzle 22a inserted within the support contact 22 and the groove of the ring 1. A pneumatic, contactless measuring method is used and the measuring results are converted into electrical signals in a manner known per se.
The Durohmesser and the out-of-roundness of the groove are measured with the help of an electrical contact tactile goose or another. suitable feeler member 23 (Fig. 3 and 4) checked, which touches a lever 11 rotatable about an axis 26 and scans the groove with its feeler member 24 when the ring 1 rotates.
The radial. hit the groove with the help of a
Electrical contact feeler element or another suitable one. Tastongans 25 checked that touches a bracket 27 on which a. Contact 28 is attached, which scans the surface of the bore of the ring l.
When turning, the ring 1 is in contact with a guard roller 13 at the measuring point (according to Fig
Fig. 7), which by the rotating ring 1 in
Rotational movement about axis 13a on the planer
14 is moved. The guard role 13 runs on one
Page into a stepped hollow cylinder 13c, which has window-like cutouts 35 on its circumference. On the outside of the hollow cylinder 13c opposite the cutouts 35, a light source 36 is provided, while on the inside of the hollow cylinder 13c in a recess 13b of the roller 13 a sensitive to change in the intensity of the light photoelectr. isohes element 37 is inserted.
The speed of the guard roller 13 is always in a certain ratio to the speed of the ring 1, which, as already mentioned, has to rotate by at least 360 during the test. This turning corresponds to a certain number of cutouts 35 in the hollow cylinder 13c, which are located between the light source 36 and the photoel. Electric element 37 are provided. The electrical impulses generated by the alternating lighting and shielding of the photoelectric element are used to control the measuring cycle of the test machine, which avoids a faulty test if the ring 1 rotates irregularly.
The monitoring device can be set in such a way that the measurement is only ended after a certain number of electrical impulses from the photoelectric element 37, that is, after the rotation of the ring 1 and the prescribed 360.
After completion of a measuring cycle, the ring 1 is lifted by the prismatic base 5 and again transported to the level of the feeder 3 Electromagnets 20 actuated flap 19 is sorted out as good or as scrap.
After the measurement results of the individual parameters, the ring 1 is automatically lined up in one of the sorting groups, which can be arranged so that good rings are lined up separately from the reject, or they can also be sorted according to the individual types of defects. The machine according to the invention can also work in such a way that the feeler element 23 for checking the out-of-roundness and the groove diameter together with the electronic part, the good rings according to idem Ril. end diameter sorted out into a certain number of sorting groups, which differ from each other by a certain preset value. In this way, rejected rings for the pairing of the inner ring, outer ring and balls are obtained.
The described machine according to the invention for the inside quantity of ball bearings can also be used to test the outer rings of ball bearings or also finir rings of other bearings, e.g. B. of barrel roller layers can be used.
