sind die Kontakte S'3 und S'6 der oberen Kontaktsatzreihe geschlossen und an den Abtastern A3 und A6 liegt Spannung. Zugleich sind;
,die Übergaberelais ü1 und ü4 sowie .die Zwischenrelais Z2 und Z5 über die Kontakte ü1 und ü'4 bzw. Z'2 und Z'5 zur etwaigen Übernahme eines auf dem vorhergehenden Relais gespeicherten Impul ses an Spannung ;
gelegt.
ID="0004.0044"> Spannung gelegt.
Der in Fig. 5 dargestellte Taktgeber 7 ,arbeitet in Fig.4 in. gleicher Weise.
Da jedoch alle Anleger gleichzeitig tätig sind, werden vom unteren Ko:atakt- satz S' alle Stationsrelais S vom mittleren Kontakt- satz <I>ü</I> alle Übergaberelais <I>ü</I> und vom. oberen Kon- taktsatz Z' alle Zwischenrelais Z ,gleichzeitig an Spannung gelegt.
In der gleichen Weise wie das Zwischenrelais Z2 arbeitet auch das Übergaberelais ü2 über die Kon takte ü'2 und Z2/2 zur Übernahme eines Fehlerim pulses vorm Zwischenrelais Z2. Ein übernommener Fehlerimpuls wird durch Schliessen;
Aufleuchten bringt.
Wird den Abtastern A der Anle- ger durch leine nicht damgestellte Schaltung ständig Spannung zugeführt, dann könnten! die Anzeigelam- I> pen L zur genauen; Einstellung der Anleger und der Abtasten Verwendung finden. Beim Einstellen;
angeschlossenen Weiterverarbei- tungsaggregates dauernd unterbrechen.
Sheet control and switching device, in particular for collecting wire stapling machines The invention relates to: a sheet control and switching device, in particular for collecting wire stapling machines, for checking the:
Collected on a roof-shaped or flat collecting track and a further processing machine, for example a brochure wire stapler:
ine, to be fed brochures or book blocks on missing or double sheets and to sort out incorrectly collected sheets.
Sheet control devices are known on gathering stitching machines which are located at a central point on the machine: the: on a:
roof-shaped collecting track collected brochures before further processing, d. H. Check for completeness from the stitching process by measuring the thickness using electromechanical test organs. If the specified thickness tolerance is exceeded or not reached here, this causes, on the one hand, the triggering of control processes, such as blocking the wire feed,
the stapling of improperly compiled: brochures; prevents, and on the other hand, the control of sheet turnouts: those behind the stapling heads. are arranged in the machine delivery and sort out the brochures. To bridge the machine cycles between scanning the brochures and:
the stapling or sorting process, a mechanical or electrical storage device is provided. As a result, however, the incorrectly compiled brochures reach the entire wire stitching machine. run through to the delivery without being stapled, there is an increased risk that the individual sheets will shift:
and get stuck on machine parts. The entire machine must: then be shut down so that the so-called stoppers can be removed again. To avoid such malfunctions, devices were used to sort out incomplete brochures from the conveying flow of a saddle stitcher <RTI
ID = "0001.0095"> developed, which for example consist of an extension arm or a drop device and are arranged between the test member and the stapling machine on the side of the feed device.
A brochure that has been scanned for its thickness and exceeds or falls below the permissible tolerance is then removed from the conveying flow immediately after the scanning process. In this way of working, too, a conclusion is drawn from the thickness of the scanned brochure on the completeness of the brochure.
However, all such control devices have: the common disadvantage that: the sum of the possible paper thickness tolerances can be greater than:
the smallest possible thickness differences to be determined in the absence of a sheet position or a single sheet. The differences in paper thickness consequently lead to incorrect functioning of the control device. It can also happen here.,
that with the thickness measurement a brochure is a double sheet. compensated by a missing bend, so that no: impermissible difference in thickness arises.
Exact checking of the brochures for completeness is consequently not possible with such devices. Furthermore, wire stitching machines are known which have automatic sheet feeders along the roof-shaped collecting path. The latter have test organs:
which, as soon as a sheet is not properly fed to the collecting path, the entire machine assembly, which can consist of the saddle stitching machine itself, the automatic feeder and a downstream automatic trimming machine,
.still. From the. Individual scanning of each sheet fed in has the great advantage that the brochures are reliably checked for completeness.
On the other hand, however, the shutdown of the entire machine unit in the event of a faulty or double arc results in considerable downtimes, which have a detrimental effect on the profitability of such a unit.
The invention is now based on the object of a sheet control and. Switching device, especially to be developed for saddle stitching machines that are based on a flat or:
roof-shaped collecting track brochures or book blocks to be collated with security checked for completeness and in. In the event of missing or double sheets, it is eliminated from the conveying flow if any downtime is avoided.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the individual) feeler elements are connected via an impulse control device to the control mechanism of a station at the end of the collecting path for sorting out collected sheets in such a way that in the event of a faulty sheet system:
that: the sensing element that detects this error sets the station for sorting out at the correct time to the sheet conveying flow, and directs the incorrectly assembled sheet out of the conveying flow.
The impulse line can; be connected to the control mechanism of a processing machine downstream of the sheet collecting path in such a way that, in the event of a faulty sheet system, at the correct time to the sheet conveying flow, without interruption:
of the drive of the further processing machine, a work cycle is interrupted. Every investor. A relay group consisting of a station relay, an intermediate relay and a transfer relay can be assigned, the relays of which during the run of the sheet stack are used to:
The following feeder is scanned one after the other by a clock, via a normally open contact of the previous one,
Relays of the same relay group or as the first relay represent the relay group via the scanner or one working contact of the last relay of the relay group 'et before the previous investor connected to voltage and again after the subsequent relay has picked up
to the. Waste are brought. The clock generator expediently consists of a cam disk, on the circumference of which the roller tappets of three rows of contacts for connecting the relay to voltage are arranged. The connections serve:
three rows of contacts of the contactor on the relay can be designed to be switchable to change the driver pitch of the transport device. It is also possible to:
Relay of the relay group assigned to each individual investor, preferably the station relay with a normally open contact connected to an indicator lamp.
In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown. The figures show: FIG. 1 the schematic representation of a sheet collecting path with normal pitch = arranged carriers.
Fig. 2 shows the same representation with the drivers set in large increments, Fig. 3 shows the basic circuit of the device in the section between) the second and third sheet feeder,

Length of an RTI ID = "0002.0253" WI = "32" HE = "4" LX = "1429" LY = "943"> Transport device 9 are equally spaced six investors 1 to 6: and, a station 8 for sorting together incorrectly quantity-carried sheet arranged (Fig. 1). A wire stitching machine 11 is connected to the sheet transport device 9.
The transport device 9, which moves in the direction of the arrow, is provided with drivers 10, which are spaced apart from one another which corresponds to half the distance between the feeders.
In the position shown in FIG. 1, all feeders 1 to 6 simultaneously place a sheet pile on the transport device 9 or
on the sub-stacks below them. The next sheet layers who applied when,) the transport device 9 has been moved a distance in the direction of the arrow.
To create floor layers whose width exceeds the distance between the carriers 10, then:
the drivers 10 are arranged at a distance g from one another according to FIG. The distance. n the driver 10 of FIG. 1 is referred to as normal division and the distance g of FIG. 2 with large division. The distance g corresponds to one and a half times the distance n.
The enlargement of the graduation requires staggered work in groups. Feeders 1 to 6.
In the position shown in FIG. 2 of the drivers 10 relative to the feeders, the feeders 1 and 4 first create a sheet position.
After moving the transport device 9 by the third part of the. Distance g put, then the investors 2 and 5 their sheet position. The feeders 3 and 6 work when the transport device 9 by a further third)
the distance g was moved .. Then it is the turn of the feeders 1 and 4 again.
Based on Fig. 3, the basic circuit and operation of part of the control and Schaltvorrichtunlg from the investor 2 to the investor 3 be written.
Each investor 1 to 6 is an electromechanical sensor or photoelectric organs, z.
B. a light barrier consists of the scanner A, a station relay S, an intermediate relay Z and an overbber relay ü assigned. Further on are one contact S ', Z' and. ü a later contact maker 7 is present, which are closed one after the other clockwise and, under certain conditions to be explained, bring the relays S, Z and ü one after the other to attract.
If: the investor 2 places a sheet on the transport device 9, the first contact group of the clock 7 (Fig. 4) and with it also the contact S'2 closed and briefly applies voltage to the scanner A2, the sheet to be applied scans.
If the sheet layer is missing or if the feeder 2 has gripped several sheet layers at the same time, then the contact of the scanner 2 is closed, the station relay 82 picks up and holds itself via the contact S2 / 1.
When the transfer relay ü1 of the previous feeder 1 is picked up, the contact ü2 is closed and the contact S'2 also brings the station relay S2 to pick up when the contact of the scanner A2 is open.
After the pick-up of the station relay S2 winds through the contact group ü a not shown in Fig. 3 idle contact clock ü1H in the circuit of the.
Transfer relay ü1 opened so that it drops out. Further switching processes cannot be triggered by the contact group is, since relay ü2 can only be used for response via the activated relay Z2.
After further rotation: the knob disc closes the contact Z'2 wire third contact group, the clock generator 7. If; the station relay: S2. is pulled, contact S2 / 2 is closed, so that the intermediate relay Z2 pulls in and can hold itself via contact Z2 / 1.
By opening the normally closed contact S '/ 2H which is arranged in the contact group S'. after one revolution of the,, station relay S2 brought to fall, unless the contact of the scanner A2 is closed again ge by incorrectly applied arc.
The subsequent closing of the contact i i'2 brings about the closed contact Z2 / 2 of the intermediate relay: the transfer relay ü2 to attract., Which holds itself over ü2 / 1.
If the stored pulse has been accepted by the transfer relay ü2, the contact Z'2H interrupts the latching circuit of the intermediate relay after further rotation.
As soon as the stack of sheets has reached the feeder 3, the clock generator 7 again briefly closes the first contact group, pe and thus also the contact S3.
If the stack of sheets is free of errors, then the previous transfer relay ü2 is dead and the contact ü2 / 2 is open, so that the scanner A3 in the manner described above: The correct application of a sheet layer by: the feeder 3 monitors and in the event of an error the relay S3 to the call.
If the stack of sheets to be completed is already afflicted with one or more errors, then the transfer relay ü2 is picked up, the contact ü2 / 2 closed, so that the closing of the contact S'3 brings the station relay S3 to pull immediately. In the way already described, it holds itself.
As explained here, an error pulse entered in the control device to any scanner is passed on synchronously with the conveyance of the sheet stack up to a transfer relay assigned to the last feeder and finally connected to the switching of a sheet switch to interrupt the wire feed
Wire stitching machine or used for any other purpose.
The circuit according to FIG. 3 is, after a slight circuit, which can be carried out easily, for example by means of plug strips with appropriate cross connections, also for checking the feeders working in large groups.
4 and 5 serve to explain the switchover. In FIG. 4, as in FIG. 5, a clock generator 7, consisting of a cam disk, switches a set of contacts after each rotation by 120.
The switching number of the contactor 7 is synchronized with the mode of operation of the transport devices and the feeder type so that when a sheet layer is created by all feeders with normal division (Fig. 4) or by a specific feeder group with large division (Fig. 5), a certain, the the:
each applying feeder associated scanner to voltage. laying contact set is closed.
With normal graduation and with large graduation, the contactor 7 closes the lower set of contacts in the diargeted manner, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. Moment of scanning of the sheet position in the feeder 1. With normal division, all feeders create their sheet positions at the same time.
Here consequently all of the contact sets S 'leading to the scanners A or the station relays: are closed at the same time, as shown in FIG.
In the case of a large division, only feeders 1 and 4 create sheets at the same time. Therefore, only those leading to the scanners A1 and <I> A4 </I> or to the station relays S1 and: <I> S4 </I> are on the lower contact set of FIG. 5: Contacts S'l and S ' 4 are closed.
As can be seen from Fig. 2, then put the feeders 2 and 5 on their sheet layers when the transport device has conveyed its stacks of sheets by a third of the pitch g.
At this moment, the cam disks of the clock generator 7 have rotated by 120, so that the RTI ID = "0003.0223" WI = "12" HE = "4" LX = "1260" LY = "2114"> middle row of contacts closed and the connection to the scanners, A2 and! A5 or de station relays S2 and S5 is made by the contacts S'2 and S'5.
At the same time, however, the connection to the intermediate relays Z1 and Z4 is established through the contacts Z'1 and Z'4, so that an error pulse stored on the station relay S1 or S4 can be accepted by the intermediate relays Z1 or Z4. If, after further turning the cam disks of the clock generator 7 by 120, the feeders 3 and 6 work,
the contacts S'3 and S'6 of the upper row of contacts are closed and voltage is applied to the scanners A3 and A6. Are at the same time;
, the transfer relays ü1 and ü4 as well as .die intermediate relays Z2 and Z5 via the contacts ü1 and ü'4 or Z'2 and Z'5 for the eventual takeover of a voltage pulse stored on the previous relay;
placed. After further rotation of the cam disks of the clock generator 7, the initial state shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. 2 is again enough.
Investors 1 and 4 create:. Your station relays S1 and. S4 are energized across their samples A 1 and A4. The transfer relays ü2 and 115 as well as the intermediate relays Z3 and Z6 are also used to accept a pulse stored on the previous relay at <RTI
ID = "0004.0044"> voltage applied.
The clock generator 7 shown in FIG. 5 operates in the same way in FIG.
However, since all feeders are active at the same time, all station relays S from the lower contact set S 'from the middle contact set <I> ü </I> all transfer relays <I> ü </I> and from. Upper contact set Z 'all intermediate relays Z, connected to voltage at the same time.
The cam disks of the clock generator 7 have: finished a full cycle when the drivers 10 of the transport device 9 have covered the path n of the normal division according to FIG. As already mentioned, the connection of the contact sets can easily be switched using connector strips.
Display devices can also be interposed to show whether the check is carried out after the normal division or after the large division.
Without from the basic idea of. Invention: deviating, the invention can be largely modified according to the circuit and mechanically. It is thus possible to identify faulty stacks of sheets by means of optical display devices which follow the stack of sheets. This can be done, for example:
an additional contact. to the station relay. Devices can also be provided for setting the feeders by continuously supplying the operating voltage to the scanning. It is also possible, for example, to set all contacts that should cause the relay to drop out
to be arranged as normally closed contacts in the clock 7 and to actuate this with.
An exemplary embodiment for such a circuit converted in this way is shown in a detail in FIG. 6 that encompasses feeders 2 and 3.
The contacts S ', Z' and is of the clock generator 7 according to FIGS. 4 and 5 are designed here as changeover contacts, the mechanical structure of which ensures that during. the changeover, both contacts are briefly closed.
If a sheet layer is created by the feeder 2, then the contact S'2 is switched upwards and the scanning A2 as well as the contact ü1 / 2 of the transfer relay ü1 of the relay group of the feeder 1 is connected to voltage. If the scanning A2 closes due to an application error or the contact
ü1 / 2 is closed as a result of an error that has occurred in feeder 1, the station relay S2 @ picks up and holds itself via S2 / 1 and the overlapped switching contact S'2.
The contact Z'2 of the clock generator 7 leading to the intermediate relay Z2 now switches over and brings the intermediate relay Z2 to the closed contact S2 / 2.
Suit, which holds itself over the contact Z2 / 1 and the overlapping contact Z'2. Is the station relay during the switchover of contact Z'2. If S2 is not attracted, the intermediate relay Z2 cannot be made to attract either.
In the same way as the intermediate relay Z2, the transfer relay ü2 works via the contacts ü'2 and Z2 / 2 to take over an error pulse in front of the intermediate relay Z2. An accepted error pulse is canceled by closing;
of the. Contact ü2 / 2 to the station relay S3 of the feeder 3, which is brought about .the, changeover contact S'3 independently from the location of the scanner A3 to attract. All latches of the station relays S are activated by switching the S 'contacts,
to take over the intermediate relay Z by switching the Z 'contacts and the transfer relay ü by switching the ff contacts if not an error signal; is.
A contact is provided on the station relay S, which in the event of an error an indicator lamp L to. Brings light up.
If voltage is constantly supplied to the scanners A of the feeder through a circuit that is not provided, then! the indicator lamps L for precise; Find setting of the feeder and the scanning use. When hiring;
it is expedient to interrupt the voltage supply to the Z and: ü relays and to switch on existing sheet diverters to sort out the stack of sheets or to switch on the function of a,
permanently interrupt the connected processing unit.
FIGS. 7 and 8 show further exemplary embodiments of the circuit described according to FIG.
The relays belonging to a contact group are here. actuated by, a. common, contact S 'and ü'. The self-holding is also interrupted for the relays of a group by the common contact S'H, <I> ZH </I> and ü'H.
The error transmission described according to Figure 3 and the avoidance of repercussions, i.e. H. Incorrect switching, due to the arrangement only one. Contact for each relay group is guaranteed by the installation of rectifier diodes Gin: the connecting line of adjacent relays according to Fig.7.
The circuit shown in Fig. 8 with common men contacts for each relay group, enables the separate and synchronous transfer of the Fehlerim pulses through the installation of relays with separate holding and response winding.
