Stopperschalteinrichtung in Falzbogenanlegern
Fig. 1 eine Prinzipskizze der Stopperschalteinrichtung ;
Fig. 2 das zugehörige Schaltschema ;
Stop switch device in folded sheet feeders
The invention relates to a stopper switching device in folded sheet feeders, in particular for thread book stitching machines, with a sheet opening device and an adjoining conveyor saddle.
Folded sheet feeders are known to separate stacked folded sheets @, open them in the middle of the folded sheet and with their! Slip thighs ahead over a roof-shaped conveyor saddle. On the conveyor saddle, the folded sheet is picked up by a carrier and fed to the further processing machine, for example a book stitching machine. If it happens that a folding sheet fails to appear due to any disturbance of the feeder, this is determined by a sensor switch which is arranged in the area of the conveyor saddle.
The sensor switch then brings the entire unit consisting of the feeder, conveyor saddle and saddle stitching machine to a standstill and the missing sheet can be replaced manually.
If a folded sheet is isolated, but moved during or after isolation or opened incorrectly, then the stopper arises, the control devices described do not succeed in stopping the unit immediately during or after the fault. Rather, the error WMd is only detected when the sheet does not appear at the correct time on the perceptual gap arranged in the area of the conveyor saddle. During this time, the malfunction that caused it has usually developed in such a way that the sheet in question is spoiled and cannot be turned back in place. Often the following sheets are also unusable.
This means that the whole book cannot be used because if it is not there! veines sheet with a modern thread book stapling machine) the thread is cut, i.e. the book falls into two parts. The program control for handling the various sheets of the book is also disrupted.
It is also known to contact a sensor switch directly in the sheet feeder, so that an error can be recognized earlier and the unit can be switched off. This checks whether the sheets are being separated from the stack correctly. However, there is no check as to whether the arches are properly opened in the arch cut and placed on the roof-shaped conveyor saddle.
For example, if there is a problem with the quality of the bow or if the feeder makes incorrect adjustments, it is possible that, instead of one limb on each conveyor saddle side, both limbs slide in front of or behind the saddle, or that one or the other or both limbs arrive delayed or prematurely.
The invention is therefore based on the object of developing a stopper switch device for folded sheet feeders that detects missing sheets or incorrectly fed sheets with the highest possible degree of certainty and shuts down the dolas machine unit in good time so that the error can be corrected even with thread stitching machines without tearing the book concerned to mousser. This avoids rejects and saves downtime for removing torn sheets.
The object is achieved according to the invention in that one or more sensor switches are arranged on both sides of the conveyor saddle on the path of the lower leg edge of the folded sheet and these are connected to one another in parallel and in series with a tact switch and a switching element.
Due to the arrangement of the sensor switches according to the invention, the folded sheets are scanned at such an early stage that errors when opening or before opening are registered by stopping the machine unit in good time. Folded sheets with faulty overfolding, incorrectly inserted sheets, poorly or not at all opened or delayed or premature sheets can easily be made usable again or. can be exchanged and applied by hand without having to correct the program switching. have to.
In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown. Show it :
1 shows a schematic diagram of the stopper switching device;
2 shows the associated circuit diagram;
Fig. 3 shows the circuit diagram with several switches connected in parallel.
At the side of a sheet conveyor saddle 1, which is provided with a conveyor chain 2 and with drivers 3, an endless sheet loading chain 4 is mounted with sheet grippers 5 (FIG. 1). Above is a sheet deflector 6. A sensor switch 7 and 8 is attached to the left and right of the sheet conveyor saddle.
One, for example longer, half of a folded sheet 9 is gripped by the sheet gripper 5 and pulled downward against the sheet conveyor saddle 1 by the endless Boganauftegekette 4. The path of the other half of the arch that opens. 9 is determined by the Bogsnablenker 6. The folded sheet is thus placed on the sheet conveyor saddle l.
Here, the lower edges of the folding sheet legs push against the sensor switches 7 and 8, the contacts of which are thereby opened. This is followed by a clock switch 10 connected in series with the sensor switches 7 and 8, controlled in time with the machine unit, which is connected to a relay 11 (FIG. 2). Because the sensor switches 7 and 8 are open, the relay 11 cannot pick up. The tap switch 10 now opens again and 'after the folded sheet 9 has been pushed by the driver 3 under the sensor switches 7 and 8, these close.
The work cycle is ended. If the saddle stitching machine calls for a so-called blank cycle, then there is always one sheet between two books. The switches 7 etc. are then not opened, instead a program control unit opens during this cycle of the switch 17 and in this regard replaces the missing sheet.
The circuit can be reversed in such a way that the switches 7 etc. from the sheet are not opened but instead turn closed. In this case, the function of the switches 10 and 17 and the relay 11 must also be reversed. The effect is then the same. If the legs of the folded sheet are not drawn properly over the BO conveyor saddle 1, for example both legs on the right side of the saddle, the sensor switch 8 opens while the sensor switch 7 is closed. As soon as the tact switch 10 closes, the relay 11 is brought to a power source 12 and switches off the machine. The folded sheet is then manually placed in the right place and the machine is re-engaged.
The switching device works in the opposite way when the right arch leg slides out of the sheet gripper 5 before being placed on the sheet conveyor and both arch legs reach the left saddle side. The sensor switch 7 then opens, while the sensor switch 8 remains closed and the relay 11 closes via the clock switch 10.
Several sensor switches 13, 14 and 15, 16 (FIG. 3) can also be arranged next to one another across the width of the sheet on one side of the BOgenförndersattels 1.
If then, for example, a corner of the sheet is turned over, it does not reach the corresponding sensor switch and the machine unit wmdf is switched off.
Mechanically, pneumatically, light-electronically or otherwise operated switches can be used as sensor switches.
