+ <I>a</I> Schalt. und dem Winkel der Spindelträgerdrehung ssErz. = ssKopf - ss Fuss.

Ein Hauptmaschinenbett 10 (Fig. 3) bildet die Maschinenbasis. In diesem Bett ist ein Tisch 11 dreh bar gelagert, welcher ein Werkstück 8 trägt und mit einem Schneckenrad 12 versehen ist, in welches eine von einem Hauptmotor 16 über eine Welle 14 mit konstanter Drehzahl angetriebene Schnecke 13 greift. Das Bett 10 trägt auch eine Säule 9;
13, dessen an deres.
Machine for the production of involute gears by means of the hobbing process The invention relates to a machine for producing involute gears by means of the hobbing process.
With such a machine, in a known manner, such. B. by planing or roughing, before machined tooth flanks are brought to the desired profile.
In order to be able to grind the entire tooth flank of a spur or helical gear tooth and also to be able to repeat the operation on other teeth of the workpiece, the grinding wheel and / or the workpiece must be given certain coordinated movements.
To solve this problem, the machine according to the invention is characterized by a continuously rotating workpiece table and a grinding disk that sits on a spindle which is held on a carrier that can be rotated about a main pivot, the axis of the pin being parallel to the workpiece axis and perpendicular to the working surface of the grinding wheel and in the plane of the generatrix of the working surface of the grinding wheel], through a slide carrying the main pivot pin,
which is shifted in such a way that the main pivot is held at the reference distance Ro + ao from the workpiece axis during each profile generation process, where Ro is the base circle radius and ao is an always positive constant, the value of which is selected so that all parts of the generation mechanism with the exception of The working surface of the grinding wheel lies completely outside the tip circle of the gear wheel, but from the workpiece axis during each sheep operation. until at least the distance:
Ro + ao + tooth depth is withdrawn, and also by means for the temporal coordination of the angular movements of the workpiece and the spindle carrier as well as the straight-line retraction movement of the carriage, such that an angular movement -aErz from the reference position to during the profile generation process of a tooth flank. of the workpiece table from an angular movement + ssErz. of the spindle carrier is accompanied which the condition aErz. = [(l + ao / Ro) - sin ssErz. -ssErz.], and that from the end of the generation period onwards, another angular movement of the workpiece table changes - aSchalt.
from a straight movement of the main pivot up to a distance Ro + so + tooth depth away from the workpiece axis, from an angular movement - ssErz. of the spindle carrier and is accompanied by a straight feed movement of the slide to its starting position at a distance Ro + ao from the workpiece axis, so that the new reference position with respect to another tooth flank is at least one pitch away from the first tooth flank.
Exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing.
The basic kinematic laws are shown in FIG. 1, from which the mathematical relationship between the involute angle p, the angle of the workpiece table rotation a and the angle of the tool spindle / carrier rotation ss emerge.
If the line MP of length Ro + ao, where Ro is the base radius and ao is an always positive constant, the value of which is chosen so that all parts of the generating mechanism with the exception of the working surface of the grinding wheel are completely outside the tip circle of the Gear is rotated by M by the angle - a, the generating line Pg, which is hinged at P on the line MP, must be rotated by an angle - ss with respect to <I> MP </I>,
so that it remains the tangent to an involute i developed from the base circle from the radius Ro, if now the line <I> MP </I> is fixed and [the base circle together with the involute, <I> i </I> is rotated by <I> M </I> by an angle + a (counterclockwise), the generating line Pg must also be rotated again by an angle -ss (clockwise by P) to ensure tangential contact between the involute i and the Maintain generating Pg in accordance with the basic equation a = [(1 + ao / Ro) - sin ss-ss].
2 shows the relationship between the involute angle p in the form of g head and p foot, the tooth pressure angle y, the number of teeth N of the gear to be ground, the pitch angle y, the base circle radius Ro, the reference distance Ro + ao, the angle of Table rotation <I> a </I> ore. + <I> a </I> switch. and the angle of the spindle support rotation ssErz. = ss head - ss foot.
In Fig. 2 and 3, the latter showing a plan view of a machine for the production of involute gears by means of the hobbing process, denotes 1 a rotating spindle head with a grinding wheel 2, which has a flattened conical working surface of 150 to 179 acute angle, in a Spindle carrier 3 is mounted and is thus rotatable about a main pivot P, which is normal to and coplanar with the generatrix gg of the working surface of the grinding wheel and also parallel to the axis M of a workpiece B.
The main pivot P is mounted in a main slide 4, which can be moved in a straight line in guides 51-52 on a feed slide 6. This feed slide 6 can be moved parallel to the workpiece axis along guides 71-7s on a stand 9 in order to feed the grinding wheel 2 along the gear wheel to be ground. To give.
The position of the guides 51-52 in relation to the workpiece is such that a movement of the main slide 4 causes the main pivot P to follow a straight path which, when it is generated, passes through the workpiece axis M.
The number of complete operating cycles, which from. The grinding head mechanism to rotate the workpiece must be soft to the number of teeth N of the workpiece:
Each cycle consists of two different stages, i. H. He generation, during which the one tooth flank is ground, and switching while! which the grinding head mechanism first retracts the grinding wheel and then brings it back to the original position (reference position),
while the workpiece is indexed one tooth.
These two stages follow one another without interruption, as do the complete cycles, and take place while the workpiece rotates at a constant speed in coordination with it. It follows that the total time available for the grinding head cycle is the same
EMI0002.0049
the time required for one workpiece revolution, or, expressed in table rotation and indexing angle, that the relationship is poor.
a switch. = must play greed. The main features of the operation of the machine will now be described.
If the relative positions of the grinding wheel 2 and the workpiece 8 in Fig. 2 are taken as a reference position, the main axis of rotation P lies on a radius line through the axis M of the workpiece 8 at a distance R0 + ao from this axis M. The grinding wheel 2 touches the left flank of the tooth <I> A </I> at its highest point <I> T, </I> and the main slide 4 is stationary. A simultaneous rotation of the workpiece 8 by the angle - a ore, and the grinding wheel 2 by the angle + ssErz. around a main axis P, so that a ore. = [(1 + ao / Ro) rin ss ore. -ss ore.], causes the grinding wheel producer gg to describe an involute i from the base rice with radius Ro.
As soon as the point of contact between the grinding wheel and the tooth to be ground has exceeded the base point R of the involute i (as a result of the simultaneous angular movement -aErz. And l ore.), The main slide 4 begins to go sufficiently far outwards so that the grinding wheel 2 outside the tip circle. of the workpiece is when their angular movement around the main pivot P is reversed to return to the original reference position.
This reversal of the angular movement of the grinding wheel 2, the return of the main pivot P ('Lm kauptschlibtwen 4) in its Ra + ao reference position and the restart of the generating angular movement + ssErz.
of the grinding wheel .sind 'so matched to the workpiece rotation that when the left flank of tooth B arrives in exactly the same position as was previously assumed by the corresponding flank of tooth A, which is now removed by the pitch angle y, it ends.
A main machine bed 10 (Fig. 3) forms the machine base. In this bed a table 11 is rotatably mounted, which carries a workpiece 8 and is provided with a worm wheel 12, in which a worm 13 driven by a main motor 16 via a shaft 14 at constant speed engages. The bed 10 also supports a column 9;
whose distance from the table center M can be adjusted by means of a longitudinal screw 25 and a nut 26. The coffins 9 carries a feed slide 6,
which can be moved along the column by a screw 20 driven by the shaft 14 but a gear in an exchangeable case 15. On the Vorsehubschlitten are a) a camshaft 18,
which carries a master cam 19 and is driven by the shaft 14 via bevel gears 21 and a shaft 17 via a second set of change gears in the changeable case 15, b) the main rails 4, which can be moved in the straight guides 51-52, and c) a hydraulically operated main - shaft retraction unit 22 attached,
which actuates the main shifts via a piston rod 27 in time-related coordination with the camshaft 188.
The main slide 4 carries the spindle carrier 3 - in which the spindle 1 with the grinding wheel 2 is superimposed - on a pivot P, around which the whole unit 1, 2, 3 can rotate by means of a lever 24 which is rigidly connected to the pivot , and with a master cam 19 and your roller 23, which is the free end of the lever 24,
is operated hydraulically.
The camshaft 18 must rotate with N according to the speed of the table 11, if N is the number of teeth of the workpiece 8, and the cam profile 19 must be based on this speed ratio N and according to the equation a = L (1 + ao / Roa) sin ss -ss] taking into account the size of the angle arm, a switching. and g are produced.
In order to facilitate the manufacture of the cams 18, the mechanism shown in FIG. 4 is used on a cam milling or grinding machine. The mechanism generates the basic function a = (1 + ao / Ro) stein, ss - ss in a form which is very suitable for such purposes, by generating both inputs a and ss as shaft rotations in relation to a common, fixed frame will.
In its simplest form, this function-generating mechanism is built on a fixed frame 1 and comprises a lever 3 rotatably connected to the frame 1 by means of your pivot pin 2, a round disc 18 of unit radius, which is rotatably attached to the frame 1 by a pivot 19 a frame movably mounted in frame 1, which can be moved parallel to it in guides 71 and 72,
a second round disc 11 of unit radius, which is rotatably mounted by means of a pivot 12 on a movable frame 7, a lever consisting of the round disc 11 in one piece! 13, the other.
End is rotatably connected to a lever 3 by means of a pivot 4, so that the length 12.4 = 2.4 = i / 2 (1 + ao / Ro), a sliding block 6, which in a vertical groove in the be movable frame 7 engages and is rotatably attached by means of a pivot 5 at the free end of the lever 3, which pivot 5 is at a distance (1 + ao / Ro) from the pivot 2, and a sliding straight edge 8,
which is movable in a path parallel to that of the frame 7 with respect to the fixed frame 1 by means of a guide 15 on the frame 1 and a guide 14 on the frame 7 and in a zero-slip drive connection with the cams 18 and 19 on opposite cables of this Discs by means of two pairs of pre-tensioned steel strips. 16/17 or 9/10.
How the mechanism works is best understood when angle ss is used as input and angle a is used as output, and not in the reverse order of dien: normal use, where a = input and ss = output. A clockwise rotation of the lever 3 by -ss moves the frame 7 by the amount (1 + ao / Ro) sin ss to the right.
As a result of the equality 2.4 = 4.12, the round disc 11 is simultaneously rotated by + ss with respect to the frame 7 and acts by means of the steel strips 9 and 10 that the straight edges 8 with respect to the frame 7 around the Amount arc ss to be moved to the left. The absolute movement of the straight edge 8 in relation to a fixed frame 1 then becomes (1 + ao / Ro) - sin ss - arc ss, and is equal to arc a in a degree or shaft rotation is made by the steel belt drive 16/17 between the straight edge 8 and round disc 18 run from a unit radius.
In general, of course, any lever mechanism, lever plus cam mechanism or lever plus roll cam mechanism can be used in place of the cams 18, provided that it has the required relationship between aErz., SsErz., ASchalt. and reproduces y with sufficient accuracy and can be easily adjusted to different workpiece sizes.
An arrangement according to FIG. 5 can be used for a continuously switching gear forming machine, especially if. Such a machine is also used for grinding internally toothed spur or helical gears with a pitch circle diameter of approximately 38 cm and upwards.
This embodiment comprises a sanding block 1, which has the shape of an involute ig of a base circle radius ro, is mounted in bearings 2 and 3 on a carrier 4 and about an axis m of the carrier 4 in engagement with a workpiece 8 and in, timing with the Dre hung of the workpiece about its axis M rotates.
This arrangement can also be used in conjunction with an arrangement similar to that of FIGS. 2 and 3 if only one or two teeth are jumped over.
The shape of the grinding wheel and the grinding wheels in relation to the axis m of this carrier 4 are under constant control of a diamond unit 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11, which is mounted on the carrier 4 and operated by a roller involute generator with a root radius ro becomes.
An axial spindle movement dx of 0.0025 to 0.005 mm - depending on the wheel wear per cycle - when the grinding wheel is out of contact with the workpiece, followed by a grinding wheel removal cycle, maintains the pitch and profile accuracy of the teeth.
