Device for lateral shifting of the crop lying on the ground
The invention relates to a device for the lateral displacement of crops lying on the ground, with a frame and a number of rake wheels coupled to the frame, the device working in a first working position as a side rake in which the rake wheels are at least approximately parallel with the help of carriers frame bars extending to the row of rake wheels are coupled, and that the device can be transferred into the working position of a swath turner, in which a number of rake wheels are arranged by means of auxiliary beams on the opposite side of the frame bar.
According to the invention, the auxiliary carriers for the working position of a swath turner can be pivoted with respect to the frame beam about hinge axes located in the vicinity of the frame beam and can be locked in several positions.
The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawings.
Fig. 1 shows a plan view of a first embodiment of a device according to the invention.
FIG. 2 is a view on a larger scale of the device according to FIG. 1 along the line II-II in FIG.
The device shown in Fig. 1 contains a frame with a first frame beam 1, which is connected via a curved frame beam 2 with a frame beam 3 enclosing an angle with the frame beam 1. Four supports 4 are attached to the frame beam 3, which form the frame beam 3 run vertically. The ends 5 of the carrier 4 are bent in the direction of the frame beam 1 and extend almost parallel to the direction of travel of the device in the working position of a side rake. On these ends 5 computing wheels 6 are attached. The frame of the device is supported by three running wheels 7, 8 and 9. The running wheels can be rotated about horizontal axes 10 which are connected by means of arms 11 to vertical axes 12 which are rotatably supported in bearings 13.
The vertical axes 12 cross the horizontal axes 10 in such a way that the running wheels form self-adjusting wheels. Each bearing 13 is coupled to the frame with the aid of two arms 14 lying one above the other. The arms 14 are rotatable about horizontal axes 15 with respect to the bearing 13, while they are rotatable relative to the frame about axes 16 parallel to the axes 15. In the hub of the front wheel 7, a lifting mechanism is accommodated which contains a drum 17 which is stationary during normal operation of the device. The drum 17 has one end coupled to a rod 18, the other end of which is coupled to an ear 14A attached to the upper arm 14.
On the axis 16, through which the upper arm 14 of the running wheel 7 is coupled to the frame, a rod 19 parallel to the frame beam 1 and lying above it is also attached, which is rotatably mounted in a support 20 located near the end of the frame beam 1 At the free end of the rod 19 an upwardly directed arm 21 is arranged, with the end of which a chain 22 is coupled. The other end of the chain 22 is connected to a rod 23 which is parallel to the frame beam 3 and which is slidably mounted in supports 24 attached to the frame beam. Furthermore, a coupling rod 25 is pivotably coupled to the rod 23, which is furthermore pivotably connected to the lower arm 14 of the impeller 8.
A second coupling rod 26 arranged on the rod 23 is pivotably connected to the lower arm 14 of the impeller 19. The lifting mechanism housed in the hub of the impeller 7 can be operated with the aid of a cable 27.
At the end of the frame beam 1 a support 28 is provided, with which a pull arm 29 is pivotably coupled by means of a horizontal axis 30. The pull arm 29 can also be coupled to a support 31 fastened to the curved frame beam 2 by the axis 30.
On the side of the frame beam 3 facing away from the beams 4, two auxiliary beams 32 are attached, which are pivotable about vertical axes 33 relative to the frame beam 3. The vertical axes 33 are mounted in horizontally lying, sector-shaped plates 34 arranged on the frame beam 3.
The sector-shaped plates are provided with recesses 35, and the carriers 32 also have recesses, so that the carriers 32 by means of a locking pin 36 both in the position indicated by solid lines in the figure, in which they extend almost parallel to the frame beam 3, and in the position indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 1, in which they are essentially perpendicular to the frame beam 3. The ends 37 of the carrier 32 are, like the ends 5 of the carrier 4, bent in a direction opposite to the direction of movement.
The mounting of a calculating wheel on a carrier is shown in detail in FIG. As can be seen from this figure, the free end 37 of a carrier forms a stub axle about which a bearing 38 can be rotated and locked in various positions by means of a locking pin 39. The bearing 38 is held on the stub axle by a ring 40 which is secured by means of a locking pin 41. A support member 42 is arranged on the bearing 38, the fastening of which is stiffened by supports 43. The hub 44 of the calculating wheel is freely rotatable about the member 42. The spokes 45 of the calculating wheel are attached to the hub 44.
1 that the impeller 9 has a locking device 46 by means of which the impeller can be locked in different positions with respect to the frame, such that the impeller 9 can serve as a steering wheel during operation.
The operation of the device is as follows.
If the rake wheels assume the position shown in Fig. 1 by solid lines and the device is moved in the direction of arrow P, the rake wheels are set in rotation when touching the ground or the crop, and together they move the crop to the side, and the Device works as a side rake. If the arms 32 are rotated into the position indicated by dashed lines, and the computing wheels mounted on the two front supports 4 are pushed onto the ends 37 of the supports 32 forming the stub axles, according to the dashed lines, the device forms a when moving in the direction of arrow P. Swathers.
By rotating the bearings 38 through an angle of 180, the calculation wheels mounted on the ends 5 of the carrier 4 can also be converted into the position shown with dashed lines for the calculation wheel 6 mounted on the front carrier 4.
When coupling the pulling arm 29 to the support 31 and moving the device in the direction of arrow Q, the device works as a turner, with each rake wheel, independently of the other rake wheels, working on a strip of terrain.
If the rope 27 is subjected to tension during operation, the drum 17 is coupled to the running wheel 7, whereby the drum rotates on the axis of rotation of the running wheel. As a result of this rotation, the coupling rod 18 moves downwards, so that the arms 14 coupling the running wheel 7 to the frame are rotated downwards about the axes 16 with respect to the frame. A rotation of the arms 14 supporting the impeller 7 simultaneously causes a rotation of the rod 19, so that the arm 21 rotates in the direction of the arrow R with respect to the frame. A rotation of the arm 21 in the direction of the arrow R brings a displacement of the rod 23 in the direction of the arrow T with it.
Since the lower arms 14, which couple the running wheels 8 and 9 to the frame, are connected to the rod 23 via the coupling rods 25 and 26, a displacement of the rod 23 leads to a twisting of the arms 14 downwards. By actuating the lifting device housed in the hub of the wheel 7, the wheels 7, 8 and 9 are rotated downwards with respect to the frame, so that the frame with the rake wheels moves up and the rake wheels lift off the ground. If the rope 27 is again subjected to tensile stress in the raised position, the frame moves downwards relative to the running wheels like that.
In the working position of a turner, the rope 27 is guided through an eyelet 47 attached to the frame beam 1 to the seat on the vehicle moving the device.
