Description

  

      Bergseil       Die Erfindung     betrifft    ein Bergseil, an welchem  von beiden Seilenden gegen die     Seilmitte    hin in Ab  ständen von einheitlicher Länge Markierungen ange  bracht sind, welche sich entsprechend ihrem Abstand  vom näheren Seilende voneinander unterscheiden.  Ein solches Seil erleichtert dem Benützer z. B. die  Seileinteilung beim Anseilen der     Mitglieder    einer  Seilpartie, das Abschätzen des Seilvorrats oder Seil  verbrauchs beim Klettern und die Beurteilung der  Fallhöhe beim Sturz eines Berggängers in eine Glet  scherspalte oder seines maximalen Abstandes bei       Lawinenverschüttung.     



  Gemäss einem bevorzugten     Ausführungsbeispiel     des Erfindungsgegenstandes ist das Bergseil von bei  den Enden an bis zur     Seilmitte    in Abständen von  einheitlicher Länge, z. B. je 5 m, mit Markierungs  ringen versehen, und zwar in solcher Weise, dass die  Ringanzahl jeder     Markierung        anzeigt,    um     wieviele     Einheitslängen die Markierung vom näheren Seilende  entfernt ist.

   Beträgt die Teillänge des     Seils    zwischen  einer Markierung und dem näheren Seilende eine  Einheitslänge (5 m), so besteht     die    Markierung aus  einem einzigen Ring; beträgt die Teillänge zwei       Einheitlängen    (10 m) bzw. drei Einheitslängen (15 m),  so besteht die Markierung aus zwei bzw.

   drei     mit       Abstand nebeneinander angeordneten     Ringen.    Die       Seilmitte,    die bei einem Seil von 40     m    Länge um  vier Einheitslängen von beiden Seilenden entfernt  ist, wie auch die letzteren sind je     mit    einer auffallend  breiten,     ringförmigen    Markierung versehen, die sich  von den übrigen Markierungen unterscheidet.
