Circuit arrangement for the individual release of the locks of points of a route in an electrical railway signal box The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for the individual release of the locks of the switches of a route in an electrical railway signal box, in which each turnout is assigned a route control relay, a first and a second route closure relay and two release relays. As is known, the route control relay is only actuated when a route is selected by pressing a start and a destination button to which the switch belongs as a switch to be traveled.
The first locking relay is activated when a route has been selected for shunting and the switch is in the correct position. The second locking relay is activated when a route has been selected for a train journey and the switch is in the correct position. Resetting these relays, i.e. H. the release of the partial route via the switch takes place automatically when driving over the route if both release relays are in the operative position and the switch section has been cleared of vehicles.
If the automatic resolution is disturbed or the intended journey does not take place, the route relays operated for a shunting route can be reset at any time without proof by pressing a reset button and the route relays operated for a train route can be reset by pressing an auxiliary release button. This auxiliary resolution is automatically registered, z. B. by a counter, and must be proven as operationally necessary.
The invention is based on the object of creating a circuit arrangement for controlling the release relay of points, in which it is ensured that the first release relay of a switch when the section located in front of the switch is occupied and the second release relay is independent of the track relay when the train is moving own section is only switched on when occupying the fol lowing section in the intended direction of travel.
The circuit arrangement expediently consists of such sub-circuit units that can be easily adapted to local conditions. This is necessary, for example, if a track section contains not just one, but several turnouts monitored by the same track relay. Furthermore, it is advantageous, without significant changes, to dissolve a switch, i.e. H. the resetting of the route relay of the switch when clearing the own section or only when clearing the fol lowing section.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that each release relay has two windings, the first of which can be switched on via one of the track layouts, depending on a contact of the track relay and a release relay of the neighboring section adjacent to one end of its own section, while the second winding can be switched on by contacts of the track relay, the route control relay and both release relays of the own section and keeps the armature attracted when occupying the adjacent section after clearing this section and the own section until at least the route control relays of the own section have been reset.
Embodiments of the invention are explained below with reference to the drawing.
1 shows the partial circuit unit for the circuits of the first windings of the two release relays of a switch, which is allotted to a track section with a switch. In Fig. 2 the circuits of the second winding of the two release relays are shown, in Fig. 3 the reset circuits of the associated road setting relay and in Fig. 4 the reset circuit of the first locking relay.
In Fig. 5 is a track plan section and in Fig. 6 the circuit connection of the response circuits of the relay groups arranged in the relay groups be adjacent points is shown.
7 and 8 show a section of track with a double crossing switch and the circuit of the first windings of the associated release relay.
9 and 10 show a track section with three points monitored by the same track relay and the switching of the first windings of the associated release relay.
Ordinary relays or their windings are represented by a circle. Backup relays, of which only the reset windings are shown, are represented by a square. The cross-dashed arrows in these symbols indicate that the armature of the reset winding is supported in the tightened position by the dropped armature of the setting winding, not shown. An open contact, e.g. B. WA 1 a3 in Fig. 1, is represented by a short line Darge that crosses the associated line at right angles. A closed contact, e.g. B. WA1a5 in Fig. 4, is represented by a short line ending on the line.
In addition to contacts from normally energized relays, e.g. B. next to the contact WF1l (Fig. 1) of the track relay WF1 the switch W1, an arrow is drawn. The relays assigned to a turnout or a track are denoted by the letters W and G; the letters also used in the reference symbols mean:

The two release relays, each of which has a winding X and Y , are distinguished by the letters a and b. For relay contacts, a running number is appended to the designation of the relay, e.g. B. WA1 b 1 to WA 1b5 are contacts of the relay WA1b, d. H. of the second b release relay A of the switch W1. The contact TH is controlled by an auxiliary release button and the contact TW1 by a button assigned to the switch W1.
The position of the relays or their contacts shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, 8 and 10 applies to the basic position of the circuit. It is assumed here that all switches assume the plus position indicated in FIGS. 5 and 9 by strong lines. The contacts WLP11 and WLP31 (Fig. 1), WLP41 and WLP51 (Fig. 8) as well as WLP61, WLP71 and WLP81 (Fig. 10) of position monitors (not shown) for the positive position of the switches W 1 and W3 or W4 and W5 and W6 to W8 are therefore closed.
If in the track system according to FIG. 5, the Zugfahrstrasse is set from track G1 to track G2, in which the plus positions of the switches W1 and W3 are required, the active control windings of the wiches W1 and W3 assigned to the route control relay are in circuits not shown switched on for the plus position and the active control windings of the locking relays.
In the partial circuit unit of the switch W1 bordered by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 1 and in the associated partial circuits according to FIGS. 2 to 4, the contacts WSP11 to WSP14 and VR 11 change their position. The contact WSP31 is closed in the partial circuit unit of the switch W3 which is only partially shown. During a train ride from left to right, the contact GA1a3 of a release relay and the contact GF11 of the track relay GF1 (Fig. 5) of the section G1 are closed before or when the isolated Gleisab section G1 is occupied that the circuit of the first winding X of the release relay WA1a of the switch W1 is closed. When this relay is triggered, contacts WA1a1 to WA1a5 are actuated.
If the train occupies the isolated section of the switch W1, then the contacts WF11 to WF13 of the track relay WF1 of the switch W1 are operated. The release relay WA3b of the section of the switch W3 lying ahead is switched on via the contacts WF11, WA1a3, WSP11 and WLP31, so that the contact WA3b3 is closed. If the train continues and clears track section G1, the response circuit of relay WA 1 a is interrupted by opening contact GF11; the relay remains attracted, however, because its second winding Y (Fig. 2) is still excited via the contacts WSP13, WF12 and WA1a1.
If the train occupies the following section of the switch W3, the contact WF31 controlled by the track relay WF3 of this section is closed so that the first winding X via the contacts WF31, WA 3b3, WSP31 and WLP11 of the release relay WA 1 b is switched on, which actuates the contacts WAlb to WAlb5 when it is triggered.
Since the two contacts WAla2 and WAlb2 arranged in series parallel to the contact WF12 are now closed, the second windings Y of the two relays WAla and WAlb remain even after the switch has been cleared W1 and opening the contact WF12 initially via their self-holding contacts WA 1 a1 or WA 1 b 1, WA1b2 and WAla2 as well as the contact WSP13 are excited.
Only when contact WF13 in the circuit of the reset winding of the route setting relay WSP1 for the pulse position of the switch W1 is closed when the switch W1 is cleared, so that this relay responds and its contacts WSP11 to WSP14 return to the basic position shown, the contact WSP13 the circuits of the windings Y of the relays WA1a and WA1b are interrupted. The relay WA1a drops out. Its contacts WA1a1 to WA1a5 again assume the basic position drawn. The relay WA1b remains attracted, however, since its winding X via the contacts WF31, WA3b3, WSP31 and WLP11 still receives power as long as the section of the switch W3 is occupied. If this section is cleared, the contact WF31 switches off the relay WA1b. The contacts WA 1 b 1 to WA 1b5 then also again assume the position shown.
Therefore, the reset winding of the locking relay WVR1 is now switched on via the contacts WSP14, WSM14, WA1a5, WA lb5 and W VR 11 and the locking of the switch W1 is released. The route relays assigned to the switch W1 are therefore reset one after the other, namely during the journey under consideration the route setting relay WSP1 when both release relays are active, ie. H.
with closed contacts WA 1a4 and WA 1b4, by the contact WF13 which closes when clearing the own switch section, on the other hand the closing relay WVR1 with the basic position of both release relays, of which the relay WA1b is only brought into the basic position by the contact WF31 when clearing the following section. In the circuit of the reset winding of the locking relay, in addition to the basic position of both release relays WA1a and WA1b (contacts WA1a5 and WA1b5 closed), the basic position of both route setting relays WSP1 and WSM1 (contacts WSP14 and WSM14 closed) are checked.
If a route is made via the switches W1 and W2, i. H. Set via the minus branch of the switch W1, the control relay WSM1 is actuated instead of the holding relay WSP1, so that the contacts WSM11 to WSM14 change their position. When changing the switch, contact WLP11 is opened and contact WLM11 is closed. The pulling and holding of the release relay WA1b is then dependent on the track relay WF2 of the switch W2 instead of the track relay WF3 of the switch W3. When traveling in the opposite direction, the release relay WA1b in the sub-switching unit of the switch W1 first responds, either when the switch W3 or the switch W2 is occupied, depending on the route. The contact WA1b3 is closed so that, for example, the release relay WA3b can respond when the switch W1 is occupied.
If malfunctions occur in which the operational resolution does not occur due to the train journey, the reset windings of the route setting relays WSP1 and WSM1 can be activated by the contact TH , controlled indirectly or directly by an auxiliary release button, and by the Switch button of switch W1 controlled. Contact WT11 can be switched on. The auxiliary release circuits of the route setting relays of all turnouts are connected to contact TH. By gradually dissolving or
Resetting the route relays in the active position results in particularly simple conditions for the auxiliary resolution, since no switching means dependent on the auxiliary button are required in the circuits of the switch locking relay.
If, when traveling from left to right into the station track G2, the locking relay WVR1 is also to be reset when the switch W1 is cleared, ie. H. If there is no gradual resetting of the route relay, a normally open contact of the route control relay WSP1 can be arranged for this purpose in Fig. 1 instead of the contact WLP11 controlled by the switch storage relay or in series with this contact. When driving in the opposite direction, i. H. From track G2 to track G1, as well as on all journeys between tracks G1 and G3 or G4, the route relays are then gradually reset.
If the locking relay WVR1 is to be reset on all trips after clearing the switch W1, this can be achieved without changing the circuit according to FIG. 1 by omitting or short-circuiting the contacts WA1a5 and WA1b5 in FIG. For this purpose, however, it is also possible to lead the circuits of the first windings X of the dissolver lais WA 1 a and WA 1 b via the parallel contacts WSP15 and WSM15, shown in dashed lines in FIG. 1. In this case, both release relays are switched off when the switch W1 is cleared, so that the basic position of this release relay can be checked in the reset circuit of the locking relay WVR1.
In Fig. 1 it is also indicated that the circuits of the sub-circuit unit of the switch W1, which are dependent on relays of adjacent sections or are required to control the release relay of these sections, are modeled on the track system. These lines end at terminals s1, s2, p1, p2, m1, m2, from which s1 and s2 of the switch tip, p1 and p2 are assigned to the plus strand and m1 and m2 are assigned to the minus strand of the switch W1. The terminals of the sub-circuit units for switches W2 and W3 are designated in the same way.
The connections required for the track plan according to FIG. 5 of the similarly structured sub-circuit units of all three points can then be made by pluggable connections between the corresponding terminals, as indicated schematically in FIG. 6.
If a turnout section is followed by a track section to which no release relays are assigned, only a single connection is required from the terminal s2, p2 or m2 assigned to the respective turnout line after the contact of the track relay of the adjacent track section.
In the practical application of the invention, the circuits according to FIGS. 1 to 4 with their circuit elements are expediently indicated in the switch relay groups.
If several points are in a common insulating section, the circuits shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 can be essentially retained for each individual Wei. The sub-circuits of these switches according to FIG. 1 are then also to be connected to one another and to the sub-circuits of the neighboring sections according to the track plan.
In order to always only make the second release relay of a switch respond in these cases when the following insulating section is occupied, the subcircuits according to FIG. 1 can be explained in accordance with those explained with reference to FIGS. 7 and 8 or 9 and 10 Examples are changed.
In Fig. 7 it is assumed that a double crossing switch W4 / W5 is located between the track G1 and the switch W3, for which a common insulating section is provided, which is monitored by the track relay WF415. Fig. 8 shows the power circuits for the first windings X of the release relays WA4a and WA4b and WA5a and WA5b of the switches W4 and W5. If both switches are in the plus position, the contacts WLP41 and WLP51 of the associated switch position monitor are closed for the plus position. If a route is set between track G1 and switch W3, the contacts WSP41, WSP51 and WSP31 of the route setting relay are closed for the positive position. When moving from right to left, the release relay WA5b responds if the contact WF31 is closed when the switch W3 is occupied.
When the crossover section is then occupied, the contacts WF41 and WF51 are closed at the same time as the WF415 track switch falls off. The release relay WA4a responds via the contacts WF51 and WA5b3, which closes the contact WA4a3, which switches on the release relay GA1b of the following section G1.
If the circuit points a4 and b4 were connected by a jumper as in FIG. 1, the release relay WA4b of the switch W4 would not respond properly until the contact GF11 is closed when the following section G1 is occupied; The release relay WA5a of the switch W5 would respond when the crossing switch section is occupied, i.e. the response of this release relay would be independent of the occupation of the following section G1.
Correspondingly, in the opposite direction of travel and with electrically connected switching points a5 and b5, the release relay WA5b would only respond when the switch W3 of section B1 is loaded, but the release relay WA4a would respond when the crossover switch section is occupied. In order to achieve the same operational sequence of the switching processes as with individually isolated points of a double crossing point, a contact bridge with a normally open contact WA4b6 or WA5b6 of the trigger relay WA4b or WA5b is arranged between the switching points a4 and b4 or a5 and b5 Occupy the be affected switch immediately adjacent from section G1 or W3 is switched on.
These contacts WA4b6 and WA5b6 switch the contacts WA4a3 and WA4b3 or WA5a3 and WA5b3 in parallel only when the immediately adjacent section is occupied. For example, when traveling from right to left, the contacts WA5b3 and WA5a3 are only activated by the contact WA5b6 when the section of the switch W3 immediately adjacent to the switch W5, the contacts WA4a3 and WA4b3 by the contact WA4b6 when the switch W4 is occupied directly adjacent section G1 connected in parallel.
In Fig. 9 it is assumed that more than two switches, e.g. B. the three switches W6, W7 and W8, lie in a common insulating section to which the isolated sections G1 and W3 adjoin.
The subcircuits shown in FIG. 10 for the switches W6 and W8 located at the ends of the common insulating section are constructed in the same way as the subcircuits according to FIG. H. between the switching points a6 and b6 or a8 and b8 a contact bridge with a contact WA6a6 or WA8b6 of that release relay WA6a or WA8b is arranged, which when occupying the immediately adjacent neighbor section G1 or W3 through the contact GF11 or WF31 of the corresponding track relay is switched on. In contrast, in the subcircuit for the switch W7 between the circuit points a7 and b7 neither a short-circuit bridge nor a contact bridge is arranged.
The working contacts WA7a3 and WA7b3 are therefore only connected in parallel with one pole. Each of these contacts is arranged in the circuit of the corresponding release relay of the neighboring switch, which should respond first in a certain direction of travel.
If a route is set from switch W3 via the three switches W8, W7 and W6 to track G1, then in addition to contacts WLP61, WLP71 and WLP81, contacts WSP61, WSP71 are also set and WSP81 closed. When moving from right to left, when the switch W3 is occupied, the contact WF31 switches on the release relay WA8b of the switch W8.
If the common insulating section of the switches W6 to W8 is occupied, the contacts WF61 to WF81 are closed at the same time. The release relay WA3b of the previous section W3 and the release relay WA7b of the turnout speak via the contacts WF81, WA8b3, WA8b6 and WSP81 or WF81, WA8b3 and WLP71 W7 on.
Then speaks via the contacts WF71, WA7b3 and WLP61 first of the relay WA7b corresponding release relay WA 6b of the switch W6 and then via the contacts WF61 and WA6b3 the corresponding release relay GA1b of the section G1. In the partial circuit unit of each of the Wei chen W6 to W8, only one release relay is now switched on. If the section G1 is occupied, the release relay WA6a responds via the contact GF11, which switches on the release relay WA7a with its contacts WA6a3 and WA6a6, when the release relay WA8a is switched on by the contact WA7a3 when it is triggered.
The release relays of the switches W6 to W8 therefore respond in a chain-like manner when the neighboring section is occupied.
If there are even more switches within a common insulating section, e.g. B. another Wei surface between the switches W7 and W8, the sub-circuit unit of this switch is constructed in the same way as that for the switch W7, d. H. between the associated circuit points a and b neither a short-circuit bridge nor a contact bridge is arranged.
In order to be able to use the sub-circuit units either for switches with their own insulating sections or with a common insulating section, it is advisable to make the short-circuit or contact bridges between circuit points a and b easily replaceable, e.g. B. by means of plug connections.
The circuit arrangements described so far can be supplemented for interlockings with train and shunting routes in such a way that shunting routes are also resolved if a shunting department clears the last switch section not by driving on but by driving back. In this case, with the circuits described so far, the second release relay would not be able to respond.
To achieve this, the circuit of the windings Y of the release relay according to FIG. 2 is supplemented by the dashed contact WVZ11 of one of the switch W1 associated locking relay or a similar relay that only after the setting of train routes over the switch W1 in the operative position is brought. Then the contact WVZ11 is opened, so that the line connection existing between the windings Y of the release relays WA1a and WA 1 b is interrupted. The relays then work in the manner already described.
In the case of shunting routes, on the other hand, contact WVZ11 remains closed, so that when winding Y is switched on, one of the release relays of the release relay is also switched on via contact WF12, and winding Y of the second release relay is also switched on. The second release relay then responds via this winding. The route setting relays WSP1 and WSM1 are reset when the switch section is cleared, regardless of whether the vehicles continue to drive in the original direction or drive backwards.
If the circuit is supplemented by the contact WVZ11, which only opens on train routes, the route setting and locking relays of the points can be reset without the involvement of the section following the original direction of travel. In the case of shunting routes, in contrast to train routes, the resolution is independent of the direction of travel.
The invention can also be used in signal boxes in which there are no isolated rails for track vacancy detection, but other known means, e.g. B rail contacts, axle counters, traction detectors or the like are provided.
