Air conditioning device for air conditioning in vehicles The present invention relates to an air conditioning device for air conditioning in vehicles, in particular in railway vehicles. In such known systems, circulating air is sucked in through the individual air-conditioning units from the vehicle space to be air-conditioned, passed through a heat exchanger and mixed with a fresh air flow, which is sent from a central processing point common to all air-conditioning units via pipelines to the outflow openings of the air-conditioning units and from there got into the car interior.
For this purpose, the air conditioning units have a first through-flow chamber for the pressurized fresh air flow and a second through-flow chamber for the room air to be conditioned and conveyed under the influence of the fresh air flow, with both chambers opening into a common air outlet duct and with filters for cleaning the in air flowing back into the room are provided.
In these systems, however, it is necessary that the fresh air supply lines, which are preferably routed along the car chassis, have strong insulation in order to avoid a significant temperature change in the fresh air cooled or heated in the central processing point on its way to the individual air conditioning units. However, since the cross-section of the wagon is limited in particular in the case of rail cars, the application of insulation layers to the fresh air supply lines is only possible to a limited extent.
The present invention now aims to create an air conditioner for air conditioning systems in vehicles which allows fresh air to be supplied without the fresh air supply lines having to be insulated for this purpose. Furthermore, the present invention aims to create an air conditioner that allows quick and easy replacement of the filter in the air conditioner and can be set up in the vehicle so that the temperature of the surfaces facing the passenger remains within limits that he does not touch or can be perceived as unpleasant due to radiation.
As is known, the filters of the air conditioning devices must be cleaned or replaced relatively often, possibly at shorter intervals than a general car overhaul is necessary, which is why a quick and easy replacement of the filter is neces sary to avoid the car in question extra must be withdrawn from circulation for this.
The present invention is characterized in that the two chambers are formed by dividing the housing by an approximately horizontal partition, the first chamber formed by the lower part of the housing having at least one heat exchanger, which is arranged at least one in the fresh air flow Filter is connected downstream in the direction of flow, and the arrangement of the filters in both chambers allows their replacement after removing the housing front panel.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. The figures show: FIG. 1 a cross section through the air conditioning device, and FIG. 2 a front view of the air conditioning device according to FIG.
According to FIGS. 1 and 2, the air conditioner has a substantially rectangular housing 1 which is divided into an upper chamber 3 and a lower chamber 4 by a partition 2 arranged horizontally at approximately half the height of the housing. The rear wall 5 of the upper chamber 3 is offset inwards, the rear surface of which forms an outflow channel 6 with the side walls of the housing 1 that extend beyond this rear wall. The rear wall 5 of the chamber 3 is perforated adjacent to the bottom of the chamber, so that a connection between the outflow channel 6 and the upper chamber 3 is established.
The upper chamber 3 is further divided by a frame-shaped or perforated support plate 7, which rests in an inclined position with its front longitudinal edge on the partition 2 and with its rear longitudinal edge on the rear wall 5. On the support plate 7, a heat exchanger 8 is angeord net and a filter 9 is placed on this. Heat exchanger 8 and filter 9 are reversed by a cage, the perforated cover 10 is articulated on the upper side part 11 of the cage by means of a hinge 12, so that the cover 10 can be pivoted about the axis of the hinge 12.
The cover 10 can also be locked in its closed position by means of a screw 13 which is threaded into a threaded eye 14 on the support plate 7. For air to flow into the chamber 3, a perforation 16 is provided in the front plate 15 of the housing 1 in the area of the upper subspace of the chamber 3 bounded by the perforated cover 10.
The room air passes through this perforation into the upper subspace of the chamber 3 and then through the filter 9 and heat exchanger 8 through to the lower subspace of the chamber 3 bounded by the support plate 7 and from there into the outflow channel 6, as will be explained below is described in more detail.
In the lower chamber 4, a first filter 17 is arranged at a distance from the front plate 15 of the housing 1, which is surrounded by a perforated frame 18 and upright in a U-shaped frame 19 is slidably arranged. The perforated frame 18 is supported here on the front plate 15 and is firmly connected to it, while the U-shaped frame 19 rests with the outer surface of its web on a partition 20 arranged vertically in the chamber 4 and is firmly connected to it .
A further filter 21 is arranged between the filter 17 and the web of the frame 19, which is held displaceably by the frame 19 and is distanced from the frame web by means of you device organs 23, so that there is an air gap 22 between the web and filter 21. This air gap 22 is connected by a web of the frame 19 and the partition 20 penetrating opening 24 with a subsequent, formed by the rear wall 5a of the chamber 4 and the partition 20 space 25 of the chamber 4, in which by a plate 20a partially all separately th heat exchanger 26 are arranged.
Above this heat exchanger, the partition 2 of the rear wall 5a of the lower housing part is slotted in a nozzle-like manner adjacent to it. Through this nozzle 27 a connection between the space 25 and the air outflow channel 6 is established. For the supply of fresh air into the chamber 4, a fresh air supply line 28 opens into it, through which fresh air enters via the perforated frame 18 through the 65 filters 17 and 21, the heat exchangers 26 and through the nozzle 27 the air outflow channel 6 reaches, as will be described in more detail below.
According to FIG. 1, the front plate 15 of the housing 1 is removably connected to the latter and fastened to the housing by quick-release screws 28 (FIG. 2). Furthermore, the front plate 15 has an insulation 29 on the inside of the chamber 4, as a result of which the front plate 15 remains essentially unaffected by the temperature conditions prevailing in the chamber 4.
In operation of the air conditioner, of which in rail cars, preferably under each window, a device between two opposing seat groups is arranged adjacent to the car wall, this is shared by a central, all in a car or in. All cars of a train arranged air conditioners Fresh air intake point (not shown) is supplied via line 28 with fresh air which enters the flow chamber 4 under pressure, passes through filters 17 and 21 and then flows through heat exchangers 26.
The arrangement of the heat exchanger 26 in the chamber 4 of the air conditioner now allows the fresh air to be processed only immediately before it exits into the interior of the car, d. H. to cool or to heat, so that an insulation of the fresh air supply lines 28 is no longer necessary, whereby their outer cross-section can be kept relatively small.
After passing through the heat exchanger 26, the fresh air flowing through the chamber 4 passes from the room 25 through the nozzle 27 at high speed into the air outflow channel 6. This creates a negative pressure in the adjacent chamber part of the throughflow chamber 3, through which a part of the inside of the car Located air sucked through the filter 9 and after flowing through the heat exchanger 8 from the fresh air stream through the air outflow channel 6 is entrained.
In order to be able to dissipate the condensate that forms during the conditioning of the air in the chamber 3, the partition 2 below the heat exchanger 8 is partially trough-shaped, in which the condensate collects and can be discharged through a condensate discharge line 30. Likewise, a trough 31 is provided under the heat exchangers 26 in the throughflow chamber 4, from which the condensate collecting therein is discharged by means of a discharge line 32.
For the heat exchangers 8 and 26, a supply line 33 and a discharge line 34 is also provided, which connects the air conditioner with the circuit of the heat exchange medium via a central preparation point.
If the filters 21 and 17 or 9, which are located in the fresh air flow or in the air flow of the circulating air to be climatised, have to be replaced, the front panel 15 of the housing 1 is lifted off after loosening the quick-release screw 28, the over the frame 18 with the front panel 15 ver related filter 17 is pulled out of the U-shaped frame 19. This filter 17 can then be removed from the open-edged frame 18 and replaced by a new filter. The filter 21 is now also easily accessible after removal of the front plate 15 and thus also the filter 17 and can be replaced by simply pulling it out of the guide frame 19.
To remove the filter 9 arranged in the chamber 3 after removing the front plate 15, it is sufficient to loosen the screw 13, whereupon the cover 10 of the cage is pivoted upwards around the axis of the hinge 12 and the filter is lifted off the heat exchanger 8 by simply lifting off who can be replaced. The cover 10 is then folded down again and the screw 13 is tightened so that the filter 9 is clamped between the heat exchanger 8 and cover 10 and is secured against sliding. After replacing the filters 9 and 17 and the filter 21, the front plate 15 of the housing 1 is put back on and screwed tight.
With this design of the air conditioner and the arrangement of the filters described, a quick and easy replacement of the filters is guaranteed without the car having to be taken out of service.
Since, depending on the pumping of fresh air at the outlet opening of the outflow channel 6, a strong flow can arise and thus a strong draft for the travelers sitting near the window, it is advantageous to lead the outflow channel 6 up to the window and divide it in a fork shape (not shown). , this being guided on both sides of the window up to the level of the upper edge of the window, for example.
As a result, the flow from the air conditioner is divided, it being possible to let some of the air below the window and some of the air flow out of the lateral partial ducts or all of the air only from these. The diagonal division of the chamber 3 due to the inclined arrangement of the filter and heat exchanger means that the housing walls 15 (upper part) and 35 facing the interior of the room have the same temperature as the room itself. The lower part of the housing wall 15 is sufficiently insulated against the transfer of heat from the outside air fed to the room 4. The arrangement described also makes it possible to accommodate the entire air conditioner with the best possible use of the available space.
