Installation for the production of concrete The present invention relates to an installation for the manufacture of concrete, the purpose of which is to allow the preparation of concrete on the site itself, and this in such a way that this concrete is dosed with the same precision as factory-made concrete.
It also aims to achieve an installation of this kind in which it is possible to determine with precision the weights of the constituents of the concrete which are actually introduced into the concrete mixer, which makes it possible to carry out a precise dosage of these elements independently of their more. or less humidity.
It also aims to achieve an installation of this type which is easily transportable from one site to another and a simple and rapid assembly requiring no excavation or special preparation.
The installation according to the invention, comprising a concrete mixer, is characterized in that it comprises a weighbridge, a feed hopper for this concrete mixer mounted on the weighing platform of this weighbridge, a bin receiving aggregates also mounted on the weighing platform, and a conveyor device for bringing these aggregates from this receiving bin to the feed hopper, so that the aggregates are weighed in this bin.
To facilitate the feeding of this tank, one can provide a device such as a conveyor belt or a bucket chain drawing the aggregates from a reserve such as a capacity supplied directly by trucks, for example, and discharging these aggregates. in this bin.
According to another embodiment of the invention, it is also possible to provide a silo comprising as many compartments as there are categories of aggregates, silo which constitutes a reserve of these aggregates from which the latter can be brought to the hopper by any means such as a bucket chain or an elevator belt.
According to yet another embodiment of the invention, a second weighing device can be provided which receives the cement by gravity at the outlet of the silo in order to pour this cement into the concrete mixer or other mixing device. In this case, the cement outlet duct receiving it at the outlet of the weighing equipment can be directly inserted into the chute which leads the aggregates, weighed in the corresponding hopper, to the interior of the concrete mixer. .
Of course, the chute connecting the hopper mounted on the weighbridge with the concrete mixer must not come into contact with the walls of the latter so as not to distort the weighings.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, some embodiments of the installation according to the invention.
Fig. 1 is a schematic plan view showing the general arrangement of a first embodiment.
Fig. 2 is the corresponding elevational view. Figs. 3, 4 and 5 schematically show, in elevation, three other embodiments.
The concreting plant shown in fig. 1 and 2 comprises a rectangular frame 1, provided with two sets of wheels suitable for facilitating its movement. This frame 1 forms a plate of a calibrated scale, the dial 2 of which is disposed at a suitable point of said frame.
On this frame 1 is fixed a loading hopper 3 into which plunges the lower end of an elevator-conveyor 4. Below the upper end of the latter is a discharge hopper. 5 provided with a shutter member shown schematically at 6, which hopper is integral with a chute 5a, engaged in the tank of a concrete mixer 7, disposed behind the frame 1; the chute 5a does not in any way touch the tank of said concrete mixer so that its weight is fully supported by the frame 1.
The installation comprises a cement silo 8 suitably supported above the ground, laterally with respect to the frame 1. This silo 8 is arranged so as to discharge its contents into a metering hopper 9, provided with a weighing device. or volumetric measurement suitable for allowing the dosage of the quantity of cement to be admitted into the concrete. Associated with this dosing hopper 9 is a pneumatic conveyor, the pipe 10 of which ensures the connection between said hopper 9 and the interior space of the concrete mixer 7.
The operation and use of the installation described above are easily understood. The aggregates intended for constituting the concrete are loaded into the tank 3, this loading being able to be carried out in any suitable manner. The aggregates are lifted by the elevator transporter 4 as they are loaded into the tank 3 and are thus brought into the discharge hopper 5, the shutter 6 of which is in the closed position.
The assembly 3-4-5 being supported by the frame 1 which forms the tilting plate, it is understood that the loading of the container 3 can be stopped as soon as the movable member or mark of the dial 2 of this rocker reaches the figure. corresponding to the desired amount of aggregates. The shutter 6 is then opened, and the contents of the discharge hopper 5 flow into the tank of the concrete mixer 7.
In the same way, the desired quantity of cement is admitted into the dosing hopper 9, which is then transported pneumatically into the concrete mixer 7 via the line 10.
It will be understood that the efficiency of such an installation is particularly high because of the speed of the operations. When the dial 2 indicates the desired total weight of the aggregates, the shutter 6 can be opened, the aggregates still arranged in the lower loading hopper 3 being progressively brought into the hopper 5 and the concrete tank.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the main element is also constituted by a weighbridge 12 with which is associated a double dial dynamometer 13, so as to allow the reading of the weight weighed by the weighbridge and this, substantially in all directions.
It is on the platform of this weighbridge that the hopper 14, which will be discussed later, is mounted. The dial of the dynamometer 13 is set so that the needle is at zero when the hopper 14 is empty. This hopper 14 is intended to receive the constituent elements of the concrete and it is joined to the concrete mixer 15, which can be of any type, by a chute 16 which enters the opening made in the concrete mixer for this purpose, without touching the walls of this opening.
In charge, on this hopper 14, there is a cement silo 17, the bottom 18 of which preferably has the shape of an offset truncated cone and is closed by a shutter device 19 of a type known per se; this shutter device ends with a flexible sleeve 20 allowing the cement to be poured into the hopper 14.
The aggregates are introduced into a bin 21, which is preferably mounted on the weighbridge, and can for example fall into this bin by gravity from a pile of aggregates via a chute 22 provided with a shutter 23; the elevator belt 24 then brings these aggregates into the hopper 14.
This device operates in the following manner By operating the shutter 23 by means of the control 25, aggregates are introduced into the receiving tank 21 and this feed is stopped when the desired weight of aggregates, read on dial 13, is stopped. is reached.
These aggregates are then transported to the hopper 14, their weight continuing to be read on the dynameter. To each reserve of aggregate corresponds a chute such as 22 and, when a first aggregate is weighed, the corresponding shutter 23 is closed and one passes to the next aggregate to be included in the mixture without worrying about which one is on the elevator 24 and which is already weighed. The shutter 19 is then actuated to introduce into this hopper the desired weight of cement, a weight which can also be read on the dial 13. It only remains to actuate by the control 26 the opening of the hopper 14 to transfer the mix in the concrete.
It would also be possible to envisage mounting the feed tank 21 on the weighbridge, the weighing of the aggregates taking place at this time, when they are introduced into this feed tank. It can be checked, by reading dial 13, that all the aggregates weighed in tank 21 have been transferred to hopper 14.
The embodiment which is represented in FIG. 4 is substantially similar to that which has just been described with reference to FIG. 3 and we find there, in particular, the weighbridge 12 on which the aggregate hopper 14 is mounted, as well as the feed tank 21 as well as the cement silo 17.
The feed tank 21 is here advantageously mounted on the weighbridge platform to weigh the aggregates as soon as they leave the born web chute 22. With regard to the cement, however, a special weighing device 27 is provided. interposed between the sleeve 20 and the shutter device 19 of the cement silo; this device 27 is intended for weighing the cement as it leaves the silo and at 28 the flail can be seen and at 29 the slider weight. Here, the concrete constituents are mixed in a turbomixer 30.
Apart from this arrangement, the operation of this installation is substantially identical to that of the installation described above, the hopper 14 also being mounted on the platform of the weighbridge.
As in the previous case, the aggregates will be weighed either at 21 or in the receiving hopper 14; the cement will be weighed on the weighing device 27 and they will be introduced into the turbomixer 30; but here, the separate weighing of the cement makes it possible to introduce the latter directly into the turbomixer via the supply duct 31 which is advantageously pricked into the chute 16 associated with the hopper 14. The concrete prepared in this device can be evacuated in a container 32 to be transported to the place of use.
It is also a similar installation that is found in the embodiment of FIG. 5. In particular, 17 shows the cement silo and 14 the receiving chute. This receiving chute is mounted on the platform 12 of the weighbridge like the receiving tray 21, but here there is provided a silo 33 containing a reserve of aggregates, this silo can be divided into as many compartments as there are. separate agreements; these are discharged, for example by trucks, into a receiving hopper 34 and fed into the silo 33, for example by a conveyor device (conveyor belt or chain with buckets) 35.
The chute 36 which receives these aggregates can be mounted to rotate about a vertical axis, so as to direct the aggregates into the appropriate compartment. This silo pours into the feed tank 21, and, as in the previous embodiments, the aggregates can be weighed on their arrival in this tank and then be led by the conveyor 24 into the receiving hopper 14, or well be weighed in the receiving hopper 14 depending on whether or not the tank 21 is mounted on the weighbridge platform.
Apart from this arrangement to bring the storage of aggregates, it is obvious from the drawing that this installation operates like those of fig. 3 and 4. It will be noted that in all these embodiments, the aggregates and the cement can be weighed and brought into the hopper 14 during the mixing of the concrete in the concrete mixer; this option makes it possible to considerably accelerate the preparation of the concrete and therefore enables this installation to have a very high efficiency.
