Concrete surface finisher, in particular for the production of concrete slabs The present invention relates to a concrete surface finisher, in particular for the production of concrete slabs, such as floor slabs.
Various mechanical devices have already been developed in order to achieve a minimum of manual work and time required in the surface treatment of plastic concrete masses and to bring the surfaces to the required level of quality. A known version of one of the like surface treatment device consists of a working element, a motor coupled to this and a handle preventing rotation of the motor housing, which also serves to lead the device at will over the surface of the concrete mass.
Such a well-known in the art Ausfüh approximately contains a device to give the rotating working member a high-frequency vibration, whereby the plastic concrete under the device not only the effect of the rotating disc,. but also that which is exposed to high frequency vibrations. One of the like device is effective and allows the surface of plastic concrete masses, such. B. concrete floors to improve significantly.
With the help of the rotating and vibrating disc it is possible to surface an unusually dry concrete mix. to improve, a mixture whose water / cement ratio does not allow the surface to be improved by ordinary means, since it is impossible
to move the material sideways or to push it vertically from a higher surface into a lower one. The leveling of the concrete surface is carried out by pressing down the higher surfaces or their material vertically instead of just shifting it sideways. As a result, a concrete slab to be produced or the like is ideally formed by, since the material is more dense and free of cavities. The surface is ideally designed because leveling it according to this method brings a relatively stiff paste of cement and fine sand to the surface, the thickness of which is barely sufficient to be smoothed by hand.
The improved process not only results in a qualitatively superior end product, but also allows substantial savings in work and time. Now more and more often low amplitudes and very high frequencies, that is to say over 10,000 per minute, are optionally used in order to achieve even better results. These very high vibration frequencies can be achieved using various types of machines and various methods.
For example, a single vibration mass can be excited to low-frequency vibrations, or a number of mutually dependent masses can be excited in such a way that an asynchronous or so-called beat frequency with a high number of periods is created.
The concrete surface finisher according to the invention He has a work plate that can be set in vibration, which is to be brought into contact with the concrete mass to be processed and which carries at least one eccentric that generates the vibrations.
The invention consists in the fact that the worktop is rotatably mounted on a housing and is connected to a drive shaft penetrating the housing, and that for driving the eccentric it is operatively connected to the housing by means of a gear. In the following description Ausfüh are approximately examples of the set based on the accompanying drawings explained in more detail.
Figure 1 is an elevation view of the housing of a concrete surfacing machine with the mechanism contained therein; FIG. 2 shows the plan of FIG. 1 with the housing removed; Fig. 3 shows the cross section of an eccentric along the line 3-3 of Fig. 1;
4 shows the elevation of the operating and control lever of the device with the coupling for switching the vibratory movement; Fig. 5 is a plan view of part of the coupling of Fig. 4; Fig. 6 is an elevation, partly in section, of a white direct embodiment of the invention; FIG. 7 shows a section through the intermediate gear, along the line 7-7 of FIG. 6, in a larger scale. Scale.
According to FIGS. 1 and 2, a drive shaft 12 is rotatably mounted in the middle of a housing 10. At the lower end of the shaft 12, a cylindrical member 14 is mounted by means of a plate 15 and bolts 17 and secured against rotation on the shaft 12 by a wedge or shear bolt not shown in the drawing. A drive plate 16 is welded to the cylindrical member 14 at 19.
A worktop 20 for smoothing the concrete surface and a base plate 21 are connected to one another by bolts 23 and 25. The base plate is connected to the drive plate by means of Win kelträger 27 and resilient elements 29 which are screwed with bolts 31 to the angle bracket. A sun gear 33 is rotatably mounted on the shaft 12 and separated from the cylindrical member 14 by a ball bearing 35. A clutch ring 37 is mounted on the sun gear 33.
A support plate 11 is part of the housing 10 and is secured against rotation by means of a handle. A cylindrical support plate extension 39 is attached to the underside of the support plate 11 and held by the sun gear 33 by a ball bearing 41 in Ab was. Wear-resistant washers 43 are inserted into recesses in ball bearings 35 and 41 in order to reduce wear.
A coupling band 45 surrounds the coupling ring 37 and the support plate extension 39 to secure the coupling ring 37 against rotation and to generate a vibratory movement of the machine, in a manner which will be described later. Several pinions are mounted on shafts 49, which are mounted on the drive plate 16 by means of bearings 51. The pinions 47 are planetary gears that mesh with the sun gear 33. Belt pulleys 53 with a toothed circumference sit on the shafts 49 and are positively connected to corresponding belts, not shown in the drawing.
The latter are also tooth-shaped on the work surface in order to take the pulleys with them without slipping. Further, on their circumference also toothed belt pulleys 55 sit on shafts 57, which in turn are rotatably mounted on the base plate 21 with the help of bearing blocks 59 and 61. On the shafts 57 serving as oscillating masses eccentrics 63 are also mounted in order to impose 20 vibrations when rotating the same of the work plate.
As can be clearly seen from FIGS. 4 and 5, a handle 65 is attached to the housing 10 by means of angle brackets 67 and bolts 68. A coupling mechanism is provided on this, consisting of an operating lever 70, a ratchet 73, a control cable 75, a rod 77 and the coupling band 45 in order to couple the coupling ring 37 and the housing extension 39. A coil spring 79 surrounding the rod 77 and the control cable 75 strives to keep the clutch in the disengaged state. The rod 77 is guided through a carrier 81 which is welded ver to the housing 10 or otherwise attached to it.
Of course, other coupling devices can also be used to prevent the coupling ring 37 from rotating. If, for example, the coupling band is strong enough to prevent the sun gear 33 from rotating, the projection 39 on the housing can be omitted.
As can be clearly seen from Fig. 2, each eccentric 63 has its axis at right angles to the axis of the adjacent eccentric 63. The purpose of this arrangement is to give the worktop 20 the oscillatory movements so that they occur on diametrically opposite surfaces, whereby can achieve a smooth concrete surface.
If the individual eccentrics are connected by means of the belts, not shown, and pulleys 53 and 55, care is taken that the neighboring eccentrics are in opposite rotational positions with respect to each other and the diametrically opposite eccentrics are in the same rotational position. In this way, the work plate 20 receives vibrations that neither rock nor incline the plate, which would otherwise make the concrete surface uneven.
A drive motor, not shown in the drawing, is housed on the housing 10 and connected to the drive shaft 12 via a suitable transmission, such as. B. a worm gear, not shown, connected to set the drive plate 16 and thus the worktop 20 in rotary motion to ver. When the plate 16 rotates, the Pla designated wheels 47 run around the axis of the shaft 12, and the friction inherent in the planet wheels 47 and the sun wheel 33 also causes this to rotate around the axis of the shaft 12. In this case, there is no relative movement between the sun gear 33 and the planetary gears 47, and the belt pulleys 53 therefore also do not transmit any rotary movement to the eccentrics 63.
By engaging the clutch by the control handle 70, the clutch ring 37 of the sun gear is frictionally connected to the housing extension 39 via the clutch band 45 and the sun gear 33 is thus secured against rotation. The planet gears 47 continue to rotate about the axis of the shaft 12, rotating about their axis and giving the eccentrics 63 through the belts 53 and 55 and the belt drives, not shown, a rotary movement.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 6, a drive shaft 112 is built in in the middle of the housing, on which a drive plate 116 is fastened by means of a nut 118 at one end. On the drive plate 116, the base plate 221 is mounted by means of resilient connecting elements not shown in the drawing. The base plate 221 is firmly connected to the worktop 220. The drive motor, not shown, is built on the housing 110 and connected to the drive shaft 112 by a reduction gear, also not shown.
In order to secure the housing 110 itself against turning, a handle for controlling the machine can again be attached to it. A sun gear 137 is rotatably mounted on the drive shaft 112 and is provided with a coupling ring 145 arranged in the vicinity of the coupling member 152. The coupling member 152 is also arranged such that it can be brought into engagement with a ring 139 mounted on the underside of the housing 110 .
The coupling element 152 is connected to a hand lever on the handle of the floor finisher by means of a linkage (not shown). By operating the hand lever, the coupling member 152 can be brought into engagement with the coupling ring 14 $ and the housing extension 139, whereby the rotation of the sun gear 137 with the drive shaft 112 is prevented. The planet gears mounted on the drive plate 116 are given a rotary movement in relation to the sun gear 137.
Between the sun gear 137 and each eccentric shaft 187, an overdrive reduction gear 185 is installed on the drive plate 116. This has a housing 186 fastened to the drive plate 116 with bolts (not shown) and three shafts 196, 198 and 199 rotatably mounted therein. The latter are in operative connection with each other by gears 202, 204, 205 and 207, which are held in diameter so that the output shaft 199 is a multiple of the speed of the input shaft 196 has.
The shafts 196 and 199 are arranged coaxially to one another.
A torque is transmitted from the back gear 185 via a drive belt (not shown in the drawing) from the belt pulley 188 located on the output shaft 199 of the back gear to the belt pulley 192 fixed on the shaft 187. According to FIG. 7, a bevel gear 194 is keyed onto the input shaft 196, which is radially aligned with the sun gear 137 and is arranged such that the gear 194 meshes with the sun gear 137.
The reduction gear 185 contains a transmission shaft 198 on which two gears 204 and 205 sit. The shaft 198 rides in bearings 206 and 208. The shaft 196 carries a second gear 202 which is in mesh with the wheel 204. The output shaft 199 has a gear 207 which is in a handle with the wheel 205. In addition, the countershaft 185 contains ball bearings 215 for the shafts 196, 198 and 199. The output shaft 199 has a hollow cylindrical end 220 which contains bearings 222 and 224 and in turn is supported in a bearing 227.
The inner ring of the bearings 222 and 224 is seated on a journal of the input shaft 196. When the latter is rotated clockwise, its torque is transmitted in the same direction via the intermediate shaft 198 to the output shaft 199. However, due to the transmission ratio, the shaft 199 will run much faster than the shaft 196. If, for example, the input shaft 196 runs at 1350 rpm, the output shaft 199 will turn at 5400 rpm. This difference in speeds means that the Bearing 227, in which the cylindrical shaft end 220 is embedded, vibrational forces are applied.
Since these vibrational forces originate from the two shafts 196 and 199 with unequal speeds, the resulting or vector sum of the forces acting on bearing 227 is to be reduced by the value that would exist if the shafts were not coaxial in bearing 227 would be used.
Accordingly, such a coaxial arrangement not only contributes to a compact design of the back gear, but also reduces the wear on the bearings, in particular the bearing 227. The housing 186 is expediently built completely closed and provided with liquid seals 230 and 231 on the shafts 196 and 199 so that the housing is suitable for receiving a lubricant.
Since the countershaft 185 is of an extremely compact design, there is enough space between the output shaft 199 and the housing 110 to use a relatively large pulley 188 can. For example, the diameter of the pulley 188 can be about two to three times larger than that of the pulley 192, whereby the transmission ratio between the pulleys is increased.
The shaft 187 runs in bearings, not shown, of the bearing blocks 235 and 237, which are connected to the base plate 121 by bolts 241 and 243. An eccentric 245 is located between the bearing blocks 235 and 237, and an identical eccentric is arranged axially aligned therewith on the opposite side of the drive shaft 112. The shaft of the second-mentioned eccentric is connected to the shaft 187 by means of a sleeve 248 and pins 250.
In the example mentioned above, the pulley 188 rotates at 5400 rpm. If the ratio of the radii of the belt pulleys 188 and 192 is selected to be 2.5: 1, the result for the belt pulley 192 is a speed of 13,500 rpm. This high speed creates a relatively smooth surface of the malleable concrete, and the rotating worktop 220 completes the smoothing.
Since the drive plate 116 is firmly connected to the drive shaft 112, the reduction gear 185 runs around the shaft 112. If the clutch between the housing extension 139 and the clutch ring 145 is disengaged, the sun gear 137 rotates together with the shaft 112 as a result of the friction between the sun gear 137 and bevel gear 194. When the clutch is engaged, e.g.
B. by means of a lever 70 according to FIG. 4, the clutch band 152 engages the housing extension 139 and the clutch ring 145 and prevents the rotation of the sun gear 137. Since the latter is blocked by the clutch and the reduction gear 185 runs around the sun gear,
the shaft 196 is given a rotation by the sun gear and this is transmitted to the belt pulley 188 via the reduction gear 185. Thus, a torque is exerted on the belt pulley 192 by means of the belt pulleys 188 and 192 connecting, not shown, and thereby also the eccentric shafts are given a rotation.
When the clutch is disengaged, the clutch band 152 releases the clutch ring 145, and the sun wheel 137 rotates again with the intermediate gear 185, the eccentric shafts no longer receiving any rotational movement and such movement is only transmitted to the worktop 220 via the resilient connecting elements.
The two concrete surface pavers described produce both a rotation and uniform oscillating movements of the worktop with a frequency that corresponds to that of a single eccentric, both movements being caused by the same motor.
By releasing the coupling between the housing 10 or 110 and the sun gear 33 or 137, the oscillatory movements can be switched off at will while maintaining the rotary movement - the worktop, in the event that the plastic concrete mass no longer continues compacted, but only whose surface is to be smoothed.
In the second exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 6 and 7, two axially aligned eccentrics are also given a high speed via a squat pre-document, namely also by the same drive shaft which sets the worktop in rotation.
