Description
Electrical Master Capacitor The invention relates to an electrical miniature capacitor with sprayed-on connection bridges, by means of which the capacitor assignments on the capacitor end faces are short-circuited.
As is known, the capacitor connection wires are welded or soldered to the end connection bridges. Care must be taken here that the bridges do not stand out from the capacitors themselves as a result of the heat developed during soldering or welding. This can often not be avoided, especially in the case of miniature capacitors, the end faces of which often have a diameter of only a few millimeters.
A significant improvement in this regard is achieved in that, according to the invention, the connection bridges beyond the end faces; are extended to other surface parts of the capacitor elements. Such surface parts are z. B. the outer surfaces of capacitor windings or the free surfaces of the outermost layers of layered capacitor elements.
In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown schematically on an enlarged scale, namely in FIG. 1 a round capacitor winding with connecting bridges extended to its outer surface and in FIG.
In Fig. 1, a round winding of a capacitor is designated by 10. It is seen ver on each of its end faces with a sprayed-on connecting bridge 11, through which the turns of one of the capacitor assignments on each end face are short-circuited. The connection lines must then be soldered or welded to the connection bridges.
In order not to endanger the contact between the capacitor assignments and the connection bridges during these operations, the connection, bridges 11 are extended over the end face of the capacitor winding 10 at 12 onto the outer surface of the winding 10.
At the points 12, the connecting lines can be soldered or welded on without the connecting bridges; Warm up the end faces of the roll considerably In the case of wound capacitors, the connection bridges can be sprayed on by placing the winding at an angle with a single spray gun or, in the case of vertical windings, with two spray guns that are perpendicular to each other in one operation.
In the case of layered capacitor elements according to FIG. 2, the connection bridges 15 are extended at points 16 over the free surfaces of the outermost layers of the layered body. Particularly good contacting at the end faces is obtained when the individual layers 17, 18, of which the one labeled 17 is on both sides, the one labeled 18 but not metallized at all, are offset from one another in the manner of roof tiles.
Any endangerment of the end face contact is definitely excluded.
