Reinforcement bar for prestressed concrete The anchoring of the ends of the reinforcement bars against the concrete and the connection of individual bar pieces with one another, which is necessary for longer bars, is done, especially with prestressed concrete, usually with the help of a thread attached to the outside of the reinforcement bar is. Correspondingly designed anchoring or connecting bodies, eg.
B. nuts or sleeves, screwed on.
Recently, the named threads are often produced by non-cutting deformation by cold rolling or rolling the thread. Such a type of thread production on the modern, particularly hard special steels, from which the rebars subjected to high stresses in prestressed concrete are made, is associated with certain difficulties. The high-quality and therefore expensive rollers that produce the threads wear out quickly and heavily, resulting in a high level of wear and tear on tools, which increases the cost of rolling.
The invention, which relates to a reinforcing bar for prestressed concrete, is based on the task of profiling the thread so that it can be produced more easily and with less tool wear and thus also cheaper without impairing its load-bearing capacity through a rolling or rolling process taking place on a cold path leaves. For this purpose, according to the invention, the thread is given a special profile in which the fillet in the thread fillets has a radius of curvature that is several times greater than the fillet on the outer profile tips.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown with an anchoring body screwed onto the end shown, in a greatly enlarged longitudinal section. A thread is rolled onto the reinforcing bar denoted by 1 by cold means with the aid of appropriately designed rollers or cylinders. The rounding 2 in the thread fillets or on the thread base has a curvature radius several times greater than the rounding 3 on the profile tips.
In the illustrated embodiment, an anchoring body 4 in the form of a nut is screwed onto the tie rod 1. This anchoring body is provided with an internal thread, the profiling of which is a negative of the thread attached to the outside of the tie rod.
Such a thread can, for. B. be generated by giving the rollers or cylinders performing the deformation work in accordance with the negative shape of the desired thread on the outer cutting edges of a corresponding radius.
The larger radius of the rounding at the base of the thread has a beneficial effect on the load-bearing capacity of the thread. The material of the rebar is less stressed in the transverse direction than with a small radius of curvature. The notch effect is reduced so that the load-bearing capacity of the bar is up to twice as high under dynamic loading.
The static breaking strength is also noticeably increased. The thread profile shown, which can also be referred to as an asymmetrical thread, also has an advantageous effect on the load-bearing capacity of the anchoring body screwed onto the thread. The latter can have the shape of a mother or a body shaped like a mother.
As is well known, the first thread turns of a nut wear more than the thread turns at the end of the nut, that is, the thread turns of a nut are unevenly stressed. The illustrated design of the thread is associated with an enlargement of the shear surface of the nut compared to one of the standard threads customary up to now.
The individual thread of the reinforcing bar, made of hard material, is slightly narrower at its base, while the shear surface is larger in the case of the nut made of soft rem material. The load-bearing effect of the unevenly stressed nut is thus positively influenced.
